- It calls itself a restaurant, but there's scant evidence of that. Although it does most definitely resemble a traditional Czech pub, and for that we love it.

You've definitely scratched an itch today John. I've stayed across the road above Kafe Kaple many times, and I've always wondered what this pub was like. I might have to pop in next time!
Yeah, it's worth a visit for sure, although I think that "Restaurace" sign should come down.😁

It's delightful
Sem jsme chodili za studii. Bylo to perfektni. Krakonos se tam tenkrat netocil. Byl to Smichov. Hlavne to bylo laciny. Dnes jiz jen vzpominam na ty krasne dny U Zaludu, U zlateho Soudku, a u Cernych. Byli sice komunisti , ale legrace byla take. Zajimave je , ze komunisti jsou stale , ale my jsme zestarli a rozbeli se se do vsech koutu sveta. Chodi sem jeste nejaci puvodni pivni skauti ze sedmdesatych let??? Pozdrav pro vsechny z Ameriky.

Some years (well, rather decades) ago, I frequently visited the Krkonos mountains. There is nothing better than having a Krakanos on the terrace of a mountain hut with the "Snezka" mountain in sight.
I wonder how it tastes in a small pub in Prague. Have to give it a try next time.
@@tomwolf2981 I've rather taken a fancy to Branik 11. I've never tried Krkonos, but next time for sure. I'd imagine having it on a mountain terrace would taste a whole lot better though!😁

You took my advice to visit this pub but you didn't try the Krakonoš?
