    I really would use a spray setting of wider, for better coverage--the pointed spray just misses too much, IMO. One question: how can the wet side ever "cure" with a soap barrier? I don't pretend to know, but I would think? we would want a totally clean surface with some kind of adhesive to bond with the painted metal--no?

    Sorry, but i think you can use your queegee before you remove the paper from the decal to remove all the air bubbles and soapy water. In that way you minimize the risk to damage the decal and add scratches to it and the paint...I there is any little bubble or water in the decal, use your squeegee just on the particular area...

    Something I have never understood how does that soapy water not affect the adhesiveness of the vinyl sticker and is there any special kind of soap and water mix that she used to do that so it won’t affect the sticker

    • @mrmgjohnson
      @mrmgjohnson Před rokem +8

      2 small drops of any dish soap( I use dawn) in approximately 500ml /16oz of water. most of the soap/water gets squeezed out , but a small micro layer actually promotes the adhesive to stick better as it evaporates. When it's 100% dry, the soap actually helps it stick better. The wet method is exclusively used in window tinting, when this is done, the window actually starts out hazy because of the soap/water mixing with the adhesive and as it dries, it becomes crystal clear. This is the same with the vinyl decals, you just can't see it. hope this helps.

    • @BenBreeg1138

    • @alexgroger8765
