BEST instructional video to apply vinyl decals EVER! Thank you!!!
You have a grasp of the physical world that few have, nice work.
Im so hopeless with my hands so was anxious putting (big) baby sticky on my car to get it straight etc...your video helped me alot!!!!! got one very small bubble in the centre at the bottom but hardly noticeable....worked out much much better than I thought it would. thank you.
Thanks for the great advice. I was able to apply two medium sized floral swirly graphics to my mother's car. I liked the tips about using plastic tool with soft edge, razor blade and cleaning area with window cleaner first. It made this first time graphic installer successful!
Sweet I am gonna use this to apply stickers to my suitcase, it has rib sections every 5cm or so, glad I found your vid. Only normal sticker though is a rectangular shape. The others arent, but I guess applying the same logic and techniques should get the best result. Its aluminium not polycarbonate, hopefully have no issues with adhesion
most important thing in autosport!
Just got my first decal... this was perfect. Imma gonna see how it turns out.
Thanks for the video we had to put some charter bus decals on your video helped us do them perfect
Great job great video !!! Thankyou for sharing 😉😎
Nice....really helpful. I've just bought a couple of large square stickers to cover the sides of my electric unicycle. My only real concern is that I need to trim the edges following a curve and I don't want it to look scruffily cut.
Great video appreciate it starting my new graphics job Wednesday 🤙🤙🤙
Thank You for this Guide!
" Hey, if that's your style go for it" - you cracked me hard. I love how you respect other people's ignorance and stupidity bro... maybe it's just their style!

You're welcome!
Good job man !!!
I think the ambiant working temperature affects your ability to make a successful application of the decal. Otherwise, bang-on target.
Thank you 😊

Door backer... that's the 1st time I've heard these words.
Wonderful 👍🏻
Nice thx for you help
He made it look easy
That was art
Where do you get a squeegee like that?
Correct me if I’m wrong but let’s say this size sticker was made cheap or was very thin to the point where it would just ripple holding it like that with your hand. Does that mean the sticker was printed wrong by the printer or something? A buisness I work for printers they’re own stickers and I’m almost positive they can only be applied wet with application spray. Also what would you say is the reason to apply wet vs dry? Are all stickers different. I feel like those reverse application stickers are the easier to work on especially for large areas.
Is the stickers just on that one side of the car?
The one piece of information I cannot find anyone addressing clearly is: Do you apply the decal as level to the ground or WITH THE CONTOUR OF THE CAR? There is nothing worse than applying a decal level to the earth, but the bodylines of the vehicle are going in another direction & it looks off as heck. Do you line it up with the car angles or level with the ground or is it customer choice or is there an industry standard?
Pls can someone help me out with..do you have to pay any money to the government to put sticker on your car in the UK
Awesomeness
Is this an ecosolvent printable vinyl?
Do you have vecancy for application job
I have experience 7 years in Dubai.
Please
If truth be told, most 'first time' rookies attempting this will make an absolute pigs ear of it.
I resemble that remark!
Worked perfect for me first time sticker installer
@@LiamGannon1996it's 3° out and you know it.
Common sense approach, but not immediately obvious. Nice.
What kind of vinyl do you use for car sticker. I tried to put oracle 651 on grandsons derby truck and it didn't stay. I even sprayed with sealer thinking g that would help.
If it's sticking on raw unpainted plastic due to the low surface energy it won't stick or will come off after a a month or less
This guy is the ski instructor on south park he said everything the same lol 😆 your gonna have a bad time 🤣 if you French fry when you need to squeegee YOUR GONNA HAVE A BAD TIME
If you French Fry when you should pizza, you're gonna have a bad time. Good video!
Oh man, you skipped the most critical step. Spray some soapy water on the door before laying it down with the squigi. It’s the best way to eliminate the chance of bubbles. Allow some cure time since there’s moisture under the vinyl. But the results are impeccable.
Will any kind of dish soap work?
@@Eventdesignbyfola Yeah just be sure to dilute it with tap water 50/50.
Unless it's air release vinyl, in which case you won't need soapy water.
wet install is so much easier for me.
Me too!
I have a 04 F-150 with a small window is there anyone that has one? can show me how to apply this small sticker?
Will using a heat gun make the sticker more sticky?
If it's cold out, using a heat gun will definitely help as long as you're pretty gentle. A hairdryer will do the same job too, you have to be careful not to overheat the vinyl because it can stretch when it gets warm.
I always french fry when im suppose to pizza
I’m have difficulties with decals that come in the middle of a thick construction paper like piece and a thin wax paper like piece. I usually start from the top down and always end up with a few buckles or air pockets. Would side to side be better, especially when applying to a back window with some curvature?
👍
You're the expert, but everyone else is saying never use windex or any window cleaner.
If corners start peeling what can I do?
Heat gun, be gentle.
What if you've waxed the car? I assume you somehow need to get the wax off first, right?
100% I used dawn dish soap
Wow
If you pizza when you're supposed to french fry, you're gonna have a bad day.
Can you put decals on in cold weather?
If everything is really clean and dry, yes, but if you can hit them with a hair dryer or heat gun gently once they're on you'll get much better adhesion.
If you Pizza when you should French fries, you’re gonna have a bad time
If you pizza when you're supposed to French fry.... you're gonna have a bad time.
Exact same thing came to my mind lol
NEVER use window cleaner. Isopropyl alcohol. Most experts use a wet application. This guy is not an expert installer. He's just making shit up.
Middle Out 😂 4:43
Whatever my came out like shite 😒 well stays like that 😒 🙄
Never use window cleaner or any fluid with ammonia in it. The ammonia will make the adhesives fail.
How not to apply a sticker, leaving the adhesive exposed to elements outside plus using a squeegee wrong.
this guy really gonna use glass cleaner and paper towel on pain?
On clear coat. Doesn't touch the paint.
