I grew up watching this movie and I still love it! Here in Argentina, and others Latin America countries, it was named "Mi Primer Beso", that means "My First Kiss". Thank you for share the place, it is beautiful!!
This movie was very popular in Poland, I remember watching it as a child in the 90s and to this day reminds me of my childhood friend haha. And similar productions like: Home Alone, Christmas Vacation, The Wonder Years

I live less than a mile from this house and haven't been to see it yet. In my defense, we've only lived here for 6 months. We'll get around to it.
I did some work for the owener of the house at that time, Mr Gay and he told me that the movie company repainted the house before the movie was filmed and he said they didn't use the main part of the house that they used the right side and downstairs. I lived next door in a two story white house.
Growing up in the south we had a old house funeral home like that and when I was older had a birthday party in one, was coroner of the county so it seemed like a normal spot for one.

I grew up in Florida and got to meet macaulay culkin during the filming of this movie. Me and my dad used to fish in sanford. And I meet macaulay culkin during the filming of thus movie. I've been by Thomas j's house then and now. Unfortunately it is not the same case as Vedas house. Thomas j's home has been remodeled. I wish they wouldn't have. Because the porch railing is all different as is some of the house. You can still see some of it if you really look hard. If anyone wants a picture or address of the home let me know.. Also when I met my now wife. Ironically I met her in kindergarten and shared my first kiss with her. Well one of our boys names are Thomas J and her sister has a daughter a few months older then Thomas J and she named her Veda. But the funny thing is our Thomas j is not getting along with her.

There is a pool house in the back and it's big , I knew two girls that rented it from the owener but they were not allowed to swim in the pool . The pool is to the left of the driveway past the driveway

My husband and I loved you guys' review of the "My Girl" house. The two of us grew up in Bartow and remember the house fondly, but we're sad to see the state it's currently in. There were renovations in 2015, but since we've moved to Orlando it's been awhile since we've seen it - can say, it doesn't look like it did then. I lived in sanford and Orlando. Have you seen Thomas j's house? Unfortunately it's been recently renovated. Evidently they don't care about their homes history. Sadly. I would have persevered it
