Also skateboarding really keeps you grounded and puts things in perspective. The best skateboarders in the world still get their asses handed to them every now and again and get humbled. • @zendokai1527
      @zendokai1527 Před 4 lety +3

      @@shylohana6434 Could work... but Tony Hawk is pretty old now. I guess with that CGI they do to make you look younger, they could. His life seems pretty normal to me. A movie about him would probably only appeal to people who skate, which would probably not make so much money. Honestly, I wouldn't pay $7 at a movie theater to see a biography about Tony Hawk. I grew up with Tony Hawk. I know everything about him. I know his entire life story, and even if they made a movie about it, I'd still wait for the movie to be out online for FREE and stream it for FREE. soooooooo... Maybe in the distant future, after he's long dead and people forget, they will. But right now, I don't think they will. It's too anti-climatic. A legend really gets cemented into being a legend and the GOAT, after they die. Look at Ali. Before he died, everyone said Tyson vs Ali, but Tyson is the GOAT. After he died, Tyson himself transferred that title back to Ali. Everyone now considers ali the goat, not because he had the best boxing record, but because he was the O.G.
      The reason why being the O.G. is important is because if you took any boxer today and took them back in time, they'd probably lose to the champ. Simply because of less knowledge overall about the sport, which equates to less of everything else relevant to the sport. So if we took Tyson back in time to fight Ali, he would lose. Reason being, is Cus Di-mato wasn't born yet, therefore he didn't train Tyson, and Tyson's style of boxing wasn't even a "thing" back then. Boxing was a lot more RAW back in the day. There wasn't as much knowledge about techniques n all that as there is today. So taking all that into consideration, people like Tony Hawk or Ali, really are the greatest because they were the best, at the time, for what little technology and knowledge provided them, comparatively to today.

We all knew who his uncle was threw storys n him sharing his last name, one day after school in 5th grade Tony Hawk shows up on a skateboard and picks him up from school. I was actually wearing a Tony Hawk long sleeve T and he thanked me for wearing it n being a friend to his nephew. Will never forget I did see him once or twice a year after. Canelo Alvarez turned pro at age 15.
    He is the Canelo of skating.

      Not even close Tony hawk was the face of skateboarding, a pioneer Canelo is good but not near the level of iconic fame and superiority of Tony hawk. He influenced a whole generation.
