Ya, I saw this video and was like "oh, that's what Tony Hawk looks like"
Somehow tony hawk is the most recognizable unrecognizable person in the world.
He succeeded in something most celebrities wish they could do. He's famous at work, and a normal guy on the street who gets to live slow away from the paparazzi.

Tony Hawk is the oldest teenager Iâve ever seen

I'm 47 now and Tony was legendary when I started skating at 13. I don't think anyone in any other sport has lasted and still relevant for so many years. Tony Hawk is the definition of what the G.O.A.T. means.
There are a dozen "goats" in every other sport but TH is the undisputed GOAT of skateboarding. He is the one true and only greatest of all time.

I'm more interested in functionality than what's 'in'. i only wear DCs, unless I feel like i need boots. I blew out the outside of the toe box in my last pair of vans in two weeks and DCs are the only brand I've found that last me over a year. They're wide enough for my foot, i know exactly what size to order,, they don't have a pronounced heel or that horrible arch support, and they last a long time when I wear them hiking, mountainboarding, doing carpentry and landscaping, etc. They didn't hold up when I was a greenskeeper, but that's because I kept getting them wet. At the moment I only have two pairs of DCs and a pair of Belleville minimalist desert boots and that's all I've needed for the past eighteen months. I love DCs. That being said, it's really hard to find them in Arkansas, and if you can recommend another brand with a wide option that's durable I'd be open to trying them next time I need shoes. I used to have a pair of oakley skate shoes with a toe cap, they were great for working but a size too big. They were really durable too but oakley anything is freaking expensive.

That's Tony Hawks mistake though. The kid did everything right to not take anything from strangers. Well, everything but recognizing who he really is...but I think that can be forgiven. So he should have properly introduced himself to the kid, then let him perform his best kickflip and make him a proud little skaterboy instead of just letting him walk off and later find out what happens. Air Jordan 1's skate pretty well actually
@@bakerystore2478 yeah but jordans are expensive
@@gonkfart Yeah i get what you're saying , i had these Air Jordan 1's for about a year and came to a point where i didn't really have any good pair of skate shoes without holes left, so i kinda started skating them, but now i got new Jordan's and even though i also got new skate shoes i feel like today i skated better in my old Jordan 1's than yesterday when i was wearinig my new Emerica skate shoes, So i'm just gonna continue skating them, they hold up pretty well and are comfy to skate in , anyways if Tony Hawks asked me to do a kickflip and i was wearing new J's i'd not even think about that haha.
I'm not even a skater and I would lost my shit seeing Tony hawk! This was sad
Deadass, I skated a lot when I was a kid. Played Tony Hawk pro skater whenever I wasn't on my board, I would've lost my mind if he asked me to kickflip
Same lol
The girl who said no thanks was his daughter you idiots.
@@manaspradhan8041 who the hell mentioned the little girl??? Almost no one knew who Tony was
@@FirBurger98 ?? Most of them clearly recognised him but were cool about it
The kid who did the bar spin was like he was waiting for that moment his whole life
Kings support kings đ Tony is a genuine one of a kind
Tony: âDo a kick flipââ
Skater: âHoly S#%@â
Cracks me up every time đđ
