Wyze Robot Vacuum at Amazon: geni.us/EgqO
What about a test where to see if the vacuum robot can run over a step like another rug?
Weâve even using Wyze cameras for years, Iâm so glad to see this!
Thank you so much for doing this review, I was really hoping to see you do this. I'm glad you got it done so soon.
im loving mine. my neat d4 broke right when this was released so i got it, and so far its been the best robovac ive owned. Aside from not being dshaped it seems to be better the the d4 to me, the navigation is really good, hasnt gotten stuck once, and even manages to get past or over obstacles that used to get other vacs stuck. highly recommend
I watched this while my Wyze Robot vacuum is doing living room/Dining room. It does so well and and the blade to cut the hair stuck in the blade is so helpful. It runs over bumps easily, too. It's the refurbished model that's frequently on sale for $190.
Good to hear you are happy with it!
I enjoy your videos so much, thanks again!
I got one of these for my dad on pre-order... set it up, and absolutely loves it... I wanted to buy one for my house but I already have the Ecovacs Deebot T8 AIVI...
Thanks for reviewing this vacuum. It was fun to see my comment at the beginning of the video! I always recommend your channel when someone has questions about what vacuum is the best!
im glad you said something. you're popular dude :)
Buying one for sure. Thanks for the review
This is exact the same as a Xiaomi mi Vacuum mop PRO, and the viomi v2. And both of these comes with a mopping pad, so this should be able to have one aswell.
It is a copie of a Xiaomi Robot Mop P / Viomi V2 / Proscenic M6 Pro.
All of them can mop so you just have to buy seperate water tank and mop pad and BAM. You got 2 in 1 robot for cheap!!
I've been waiting for this review! I received my Wyze robot vacuum and got it set up a couple of weeks ago. Overall I've been very happy with the performance of the vacuum. It does a good job on all of the flooring types I have and it has cut back significantly on how often I need to break out the regular vacuum.
I did have a little trouble with the initial mapping and dividing up of rooms. I've remapped a couple of times to get things the way I want them and have figured out where I need to put no go zones now. My one complaint so far is that it seems to create a dead zone that it doesn't quickly unlearn if there's an object sitting somewhere in a room on the initial map that later gets moved. I have noticed this if a piece of furniture is in a different location than when the robot initially mapped the room. Having been a user of other Wyze products for a couple of years now I have no doubt that they will fix this issue in a software update and I wouldn't say it's a major issue at this point - more of an annoyance.
Thanks for sharing that here - good input!
Thanks for this review!
Just ordered this. Thanks for the great review!
I hope you are happy with it!
Mine just arrived today. I love it!
I have the Wyze vacuum. I agree with your review. The only problem Iâve had is the App and mapping. Occasionally Iâll have to reset the map because for some reason when it begins vacuuming it loses its orientation and goes off map overwriting (like it discovered a new area). Iâm sure firmware updates will fix and address these issues and over Iâm very happy with it.
I was having same problem plus crocking the map and getting lost,i delete everything from the app and did a factory reset to the vacuum, after that, have been perfect for 3 weeks.
Same thing happened to me today. I stopped cleaning and turned it off. Then I opened the app again, turned the vacuum on and started cleaning. I made sure everything in my room was in the exact same place like it was when it made the correct map. And viola, it automatically switched to the correct older map and just forgot the crap of map it ended up with just few mins back.
It's been over a year. Did an update fix your issue?
Planning to buy one, is your wyze still working?
Just picked up the Wyze vacuum to replace my old Roomba. Half as much and with better features, sounds good to me!
We have used Wyze for a few years for other products in the house. Had a couple minor issues. Their customer service was EXCEPTIONALLY good. So definitely considering this!
That is great to hear. Thanks!

After watching this video seriously I went to buy it đ you convinced me man
Can you do a video comparing robot vacuums in quality and ease of use in multi-floor home? Your videos are great!
Looks exactly like the Proscenic M6 Pro I have, probably a clone or related to it. Great vacuum for the price, very hard to pass up. The M6 Pro does have a mop with electric pump that slides into the bottom slots that are present on the Wyze robot.
Woooo finally! These guys make great products for amazing value, and then keep on improving their software like Tesla! They also make the cheapest smartbulbs that work well. Looking forward to the review!
Looks like my decision to pass up on their big discount presale and wait for your review was not a WYZE decision. đ„
But Wyze still rather release new products instead of fixing old ones...so there's that.
@@daijoubu4529 What product are you talking about because I have quite a few and they get updates all the time and work rather flawlessly. At some point you can't "update" existing hardware though so you have to release something new.
You can look on Reddit and their forums, lots of unhappy customers with updates breaking older products and some bugs that never gets fixed meanwhile wyze just keeps on pushing new products because that's their source of income. If you want this vacuum, get it directly from Viomi/Xiaomi, also have mopping, not the rebranded wyze one.
@@daijoubu4529 So I just went over there to the subr and I think you're making a real stretch on that claim. Mostly about what you'd see on other decent company subreddits, not a lot of angry customers with issues. As a neato owner, wyze conversely has been incredibly costumer-centric and an amazing great value. And based on my interaction with other wyze (bulb. cam, and plug) customers, not sure where you're getting your sentiment.
What about parts availability? Are they readily available?
This seems to be the best value for a robot vacuum now.
I totally agree, I wish it is available in UK

check out the 360 s5, it's what I'm leaning towards right now. I'm looking between the Wyze Robot Vacuum, RoboRock e4, and the 360 s5 (2020 version).
I have some personal hate towards 360 because of their chinese intrusive antivirus, but it looks better, function-wise, than the other two right now at 220$ where I live. I can buy the Roborock e4 for 210$ and the Wyze Robot Vacuum for 224$ (I have their cam plus subscription, so it's ~25$ off 250$. Plus, they charge for shipping ($18))
@@casperd2100 i havent heard of that one but I may look it up later. I already have two roborock s5 maxâs so Iâm good on robot vacuums for this entire decade hopefully lol
i have one. Its great. You have to let it do a few runs first then put no go zones where it gets stuck first though.
I would love to see a comparison between the Samsung r7040 and this! Both are around the same price, but use different tech and meathods. Would make for an interesting video
I recently bought the trifo Lucy and have been testing it. This looks more refined.
Although a recent software update from trifo has made it twice as good. But it seems the software still has a lot of catching up.
Currently on sale at Walmart for $199, free shipping. Over $100 less than Amazon. Today's date: 2/28/22
Can you tell me which robo vacs are the best at going over thresholds? I have a fairly high transition point from my hallway into my kitchen and a lot of vacs get stuck in that one spot going into the kitchen.
Love your video and that blue rug is amazingâ„ïž I have been looking everywhere for a rug like that. Where did you get it? Thanks!
Fantastic product and customer service. Any help on connecting to a Pixel 5?
Yay you did the Wyze!!!!
Hi! Will you be willing to please share on your website or somewhere the lists you make of what is the best vacuum suction, most powerful, noise, battery, the best at the moment, best for price etc.....
Wonder if you could provide more info on cleaning run times with each power setting. More importantly could you post a comparison chart with each vacuum and its corresponding time that it took to clean each of your test rooms? I believe battery life (and cleaning efficiency) is a bit more important especially if you consider a larger floor plan. For example my roomba S9 takes (prior to the recent update) 6+ hours to clean my upstairs as to where the T8 AIVI could do it on 1 charge in about 1.5 hours. Considering i usually run the vacuum immediately after i pick-up my house ( i have 2 toddlers) i need the robot to be able to clean quickly before the kids inevitably make a mess again.
And as far as what i mean by efficiency, 30 minutes with a lidar bot vs 30 mins of cleaning with a camera based bot is a much different thing.
What is up Chris? By the way nice review, and how's 2021 going?
Does your unit have the intermittent brush roll issue? On most carpets, the brush roll constantly starts and stops as it encounters any resistance. It doesn't do this on hard surfaces.
this channel helped me alot on making a decision on witch vacuum to buy!
That is great to hear!
Great review as always!
Maybe not the biggest factor, but whenever I'm choosing a smart device I always like knowing if it's Chinese in origin. This has nothing to do with the fantastic Chinese people, and everything to do with the Chinese government. I'm really uncomfortable with the way the current Chinese government can strong arm companies into spying on their behalf, and I don't feel safe allowing products with that kind of security hole into my home.
Knowing companies like Wyze are US based is a huge plus to me in that regard. It doesn't guarantee privacy, but there's certainly a lot more accountability there and that's great peace of mind.
Sorry to break it to you: NSA spy on you too. They force internet providers or other large companies like AT&T and Google to send them everything you do online.
Wyze are a funny company, i wouldnt bet on them being USA based meaning much given most of their products are rebranded Xiaomi hardware.
girl⊠as if everything isnât made in china
I purchased my Wyze Robot Vacuum after seeing this review. Thank you. I have many security cameras, but the Wyze camera is the best. Their customer service sucks.
The Wyze robot vacuum looks good and i probably would have already bought one but it's been out of stock for quite some time. I really hope they get it in some time soon. I really like their cameras as well, great products at really good prices..
Back in stock now. Just bought one.
Hey how does this stack up against the shark iq self empty with the upgraded floor tracker?
How well does it do on the HEPA/fog test?
Just bought this tonight at Walmart for $149. I'm loving all the reviews.
Hope you enjoy it!
$216 at Walmart right now...it seems like a no-brainer purchase.
Thats great! I am enjoying mine
The Wyze vacuum is a rebranded Xiaomi Mijia STYJ02YM which is why it has slots for a mopping attachment. As far as I can tell it also uses the Xiaomi cloud for syncing with the Wyze app so it's pretty much Xiaomi through and through, such isn't a bad thing, but worth knowing.
Especially since the Xiaomi product is comparable in price but has more features like the mopping and connection to hubs.
Xiaomi owns the Roborock brand. Both brands make top-notch robot vacuums.
@@bazil4146 They own a stake in it but they don't own it completely. Thanks for the reply. This has sent me down a rabbit hole of robot vacuum manufacturing again :)
i was able to snag one of these for new/sealed in the box $140.00 with free shipping. For that kind of money and what it's done in our modular home, I'm very satisfied. Now if only it would "make me a sammich." đ
Glad you are happy with it!
Thanks for doing this. I received my Deebot T8+ this week and I love it. I havenât tried the mop yet though. One little thing I was surprised - seems to have the same issue with pure black lines on my carpet as my Roomba 980 did. I though the laser and camera combo would have solved it. Now Iâm nearly wishing I would have waited a bit longer for the Wyze.
What do you mean pure black lines, as in it leaves marks?
@@Drazorig2 Actually no I meant my carpet has pure black lines on it and it wouldnât go over them. That was 11 months ago though and not long after that post, I ended up sending it back and got a Roomba I7 and love it. Itâs not had one issue since and it goes every day.
Just wondering why does the new vacuums only come with 1 sided brush instead of both sides. Isn't both sides more efficient?
Is there any way to check for longer term hair tangles on both the main roll and side bristles? Iâve had multiple robot vacuums that have the standard hairy roll (havenât had a roomba) and since my wife has long hair, after a couple uses the hair tangles everywhere, around the side bristles and the main roll
One question before I buy. Where can I get parts like side brush, dust bin etc thanx
I mean the Neabot works pretty well, so long as you don't mind the bin system being a bit loud.
I really do like the mop mode on mine. Let's hope they ad it.
Can you test the LG CordZeroâą ThinQ Robotic Vacuum?
The best thing is they listen and update their products! I have been using their products since their second product wyze V2 camera.
That used to be true, but not anymore. Look up the wyze motion detector which is an expensive paper weight since they don't support it and it doesn't even work with their own wyze products.
@@ricktyman4709 none of their products are expensive so I don't think that is a case. I am not aware of their motion detector. Are you talking about the motion sensor they have because they just came out with version 2 of that and I don't think they would outdate version 1 so soon.
I have it and is really good.
How do you slide open the bottom of the base.? Where do you plug it in? This is a nightmare.
I have been nothing but impressed with my wyze vacuum
Excuse me I don't mean to bother you but are you aware of any brushes that will fit the wyze robot? My friend has one and hers broke and we're having trouble finding a replacement.
I was waiting for this. I'm sold :)
Probably not the good video to ask but do you have any taughts on the Proscenic M6 PRO? Looking a it seems pretty good but cant find any decent reviews.
Could use your recommendations. I need a robot vaccuum that can do well on tile floors, to pick up mostly sand, very fine to micro dust, and women's hair. There aren't any carpets. I will spend extra time to clear out the floor for the robot to clean, and reorganize afterwards, so it should have smart navigation and finish its job rather fast.
Can you do a Review of the new LG Robot vacuum?
how easy is it to get replacement parts?
Should I wait for the next Roborock with self empty or the Deebot T8 AIVI with self empty?
Please do review, Mi robot vacuum mop p and also Milagrow robots.
I have the Wyze Vacuum and have been Using it for about a month. I also have a 901 Debot and they are very similar. The only thing I do not like is the charging. It seems to not find the charger very well sometimes and will not hook up correctly. It sometimes takes 5-10 tries to finally hook up to power but that is minor. The issue I have is that it will stop charging for no reason. It hooks up and then several hours later you find that it is not charging but it has not moved and is touching the charging station with the charge points.. They need to dome out with a pet hair brush also.
How is the Wyze Cordless Stick Vacuum 24 KPA?
You should take a look at the AI Shark robot vacuum. I recently purchased and itâs hands down the best in its class (in my opinion)
Imagine comparing this to a Roomba 605, which is about the same price, but has so many less features! iRobot really needs to spice up their game.
iRobot is selling the brand too
@@Vlican How do you know?
I love it
Any chance you'll be reviewing the Tineco Floor ONE S3?
the roombas are still the best if I don't want to clean the brush that often?
Which is best for pet fur? Roborock s4 or wyze robot vacuum?
Plz review robo mops! And just mops in general
When are you reviewing the Shark AI robot? I really want to know what you think about it!
Mine doesn't seem to spin the bristle brush fast. Maybe half the speed of my roomba. When transitioning to carpet, the bristle brush stops, then goes again even slower than on hardwood. I wonder if anyone else noticed this.
I'm waiting on the eventual addition of a self emptying base before I consider purchasing this.
The Wyze vacuum is a rebranded Xiaomi Mijia STYJ02YM so if that robot doesn't have a auto emptying system the Wyze won't.
@@Auroramystic Exactly.
@@Auroramystic they'll add that in the future as a paid upgrade and mail you a microfiber cloth.
@@AlanJames1987 isnât that the xiaomi mop pro?
@@nintendo-toasteredition it's my understanding that the xiaomi map pro isn't s specific model but a line of models. The Viomi V3 is also the same thing. The original two models are the STYTJ02YM and STYJ02YM. I just got my Wyze vacuum and I'll be taking it apart this weekend to root it and install Valetudo on it, so at that point I'll know exactly what it is.
Thank you!
Welcome!
Did you test this one on the level of filtration?
Hi!! Really appreciate your videos. I've been binge watching your videos. But I still can't decide what vacuum to buy. What would you recommend if I need 1. Smart vacuum with app, 2. Quiet, 3. Smart enough to avoid my cats' vomit? 4. Doesn't break my bank
I'm hanging on for the S6 Pure review. It's the only one in the range not reviewed by you. It looks good but the info out there on what compromises it has is confusing. Not interested in mopping. Your reviews are the gold standard.
I fynaly purchased one. Price and I love Wizen, have purchased almost evry product they do. Vacum is great I am amaze at how much dog hair and dirt from dogs dayly will pick up. yes wish instruction were a bit better, not all are computer baby and I did not understand how it map. Once you figure is great .
Bought and used for a week, No Complains for the price paid. It infact is greater than my Eufy.
Glad you are happy with it!
Hey I love your reviews but I just have one request can you please put the prices!! Like I know you probably don't want to because prices differ by region but at least as a baseline it would be so helpful to see the US price. Thanks
I'm a fan of wyzecam and this looks promising. My only concern is the battery because I was fooled by roomba battery going dead within a year and minimal use. I gave it a chance 2 or maybe even 3 times and each time ended up disappointed. Will wait and see.
what is the bin size?
What was it's deep clean ability?
If this model is the same as Viomi or Xiaomi mop pro, then it can use the conga fluffy brush, similar to those handheld vac soft brush. Should be able to pick up finer debris.
Iâve been a fan of their cameras for awhile. Saw one of the new vacuums at Walmart. Definitely gonna pick one up to replace my roomba
Hope you enjoy it!
@@VacuumWars should be here in a couple days. This will be my 4th robot, but the first one with LiDAR
Do the wyze cordless vac review!!
Nice video! And what about the S7 Roborock, how long will you let us wait for the test? đ
I'm looking at it this week and hope to release the video on Friday.
U should test Mamibot robots too, some of them have dual brush system.
need this vacuum cleaner in the UK
I really wish it had dust collection... I consider that absolutely essential now for a robot vacuum
It does doesnât it? It collects dust in the dust binđ€
@@jlynn2053 Kim has no idea what she is talking about, it even has a HEPA filter as well.
Does it work well on black carpets? I have a Roborock S5, two years old now, that works well except... it refuses to go on carpets with black designs. I read other models had this problem too. Is this something that new vacuums have worked out? I am considering an upgrade to a new model if that is the case.
I have a Roomba that does this. So basically, I can't vacuum my living room with it due to the pattern of the rug (large black, brown, gray squares).
They got spoiled too fast, now selling for ~$300. I bought iHome Nova for $193 (eBay), Walmart sells for $250 which has an auto empty dock.
Finally!!
Would love to see a review of the new roidmi eve plus vacuum
Hey has anyone found out what his outro song is?
Awesome! Just ordered me this vacuum thanks for the review! My Neato stopped working only after 2 years of light use. Neato Customer Service only gave me a 30% Off code for a brand new Robot Vac on their website and as of right now I can buy a Neato cheaper online. So I decided to not go with Neato this time around.
I'm sorry the Neato tuckered out but I hope you are happy with the Wyze!
@@VacuumWars thanks! Wyze does what I wanted it to do! I donât feel too worried if I accidentally break it since I paid $200. Itâs not a good feeling when something goes out after 2 years and was $400 plus dollars. One thing I loved about Neato was the waste container and brush.
