The latest updated list of robot vacuums we recommend: www.consumeranalysis.com/guid...
In this video we analyze the Wyze Robot Vacuum's carpet (general and deep cleaning), hard floor, edge, and hair (human and pet) pickup performance. We also discuss the robot's raw performance (CFM and suction), navigation and coverage, battery life, bin size, and noise output.
The Wyze robot is one of cheapest LIDAR robot vacuums on the market. If it can perform well in our tests it should be an excellent option if you're shopping on a budget.
Note that this review applies to the WVCR200S and the WVCR200SW. The only difference between these two models is that the WVCR200S works with Alexa while the WVCR200SW does not.

Really appreciate your content. I know it's hard to keep piling on more research but I do think it's important to research customer support and more importantly replacement parts availability. I'm still using my original Roomba 550. But only because I was able to replace the sensor harness, replace the battery several times, and recently replace the brush motor. Once I got a Lithium battery some years ago it's never needed replacing. Others have mentioned (and after a quick search it appears legit) that you can't even buy a replacement battery for the Wyze.
Without that information it's still an uniformed purchase in my opinion. I guess I'm old school but if I can't even replace a battery on a battery powered appliance that's a no go no matter what tests were performed.

I agree I had a roomba 890 and I did the big cliff sensor replacement and was proud to say it ended up working out p. It got destroyed during a flooding at our house and it’s been really tough to find a new robot vac that’s just as reliable and has parts that I can source and replace

How do you keep it out of different locations. Does it have a virtual wall barrier similar to the iRobots virtual barrier?

It seems there is no replacement battery available in the market. Once the on board battery is gone, the unit will be dead.

On average how long before the battery goes out and will need another one?

Apparently the battery is not user replaceable. You can’t buy a new battery

Robot vacuums reminds me of Linux operation system, they got unlimited names but are all based on same thing, bad, midrange and high quality.
You can easily pick a $300 robot vacuum that outperforms a $800 one.
btw this specific machine can be also available under another 20 brand names. So confusing.

Amazon lists the Wyze WVCR200S, under 2 different ASIN numbers.. one for $184 and the other for $222 (B08NR5TBS3 , B09L8DNBCY respectively). Any idea why the difference?

Amazon often has two different listings for the same item. I believe that's what's happening here. The second option is more expensive because it's being sold by a third party.

Great vacuum! Problem is Wyze does not sell replacement batteries! If your out of warranty and your battery fails your robot becomes a door stop!

    Don't buy it.
Unbelievably, no replacement battery is available
