I would like to see reviews of 1/5 scale Armma vehicles such as the Kraton and the outcast. Maybe the Losi DBXL-E. But from what I have gathered the Losi is slower than the Armma. Also the Armma has shock braces in the their 1/5 scale vehicles while the Losi does not.

I got the grave digger I love it, I switched out the axle housing right out of the box got the Treal Housings knuckles won’t be losing no king pins, also rear steer lotta fun appreciate you sharing love the body you have looks awesome

If you’re a fan of full size monster trucks, you won’t regret getting an LMT. 👍 It holds up great to scale driving, but if you want to bash it hard, an ARRMA would be ideal.
Thanks for that. I have a Typhon and MT10 that I bash around. The mini LMT is a good substitute for the full size one and I still have enough left over for a Lasernut. I don't think the LMT will be going away any time soon so hopefully latter on I'll get me one. The Lasernut is only $349 right now and It might not be around much longer. I have no idea really but I just have to have one. Bad reviews or not. The mini LMT should be good for the grandkids to play with and it just looks so nice. @@LVC_RC

HAVE U NEVER HEARD OF THE KYOSHO MAD FORCE OR THE USA 1 SOLID AXLE MONSTER TRUCK BEFORE THE LMT IT WAS AND POSSIBLY STILL IS THE KING OF SOLID AXLE MONSTER TRUCKS I AM SO SICK OF EVERYONE LEAVING IT BEHIND AND NOT GIVING IT THE RESPECT IT DESERVES

I absolutely love mine to death. I’ve only had a couple issues. First is my steering servo, which I striped out in the first day. I got a 35kg servo off Amazon and that’s been perfect. For the servo horn I’ve went through a ton because I’ve been trying to avoid using a servo saver, so I strip them out often. I’m definitely going to try out the slash servo saver and once the 25t version of the stock one comes in stock I’ll get that to try as well. Only other issue I had was the lower link mounts popping off and stripping the screw holes. Haven’t found an upgrade for that, so I just replaced the front axel because it’s only occurred on the front axel so far.
Glad to hear that you’re having fun with yours! I went through servo horns quick too; the stock servo saver does a great job. The lower link mounts are attached to the housings on the Treal and Vitavon aluminum axles. Might be a good upgrade if the link mounts keep pulling out. 👍 They’re a little pricey though. 😅
@@LVC_RC yea, gonna end up picking up the treal axels once my rear one break. My local hobby shop carries them and they’ll cut me a deal if I get the front and rear at the same time lol

I could sure use some help.
Opened my LMT Gravedigger yesterday. Less than 5 min into checking out the steering etc etc around back yard, few rips across the yard…..passenger rear shock ripped out of rod end, losing the spring, isolator and perch. Found spring after few hours. Modified a different perch and isolator. Got it going again. Happened again in another few minutes.
It also has some pretty bad torque steer / twist. Thoughts??
Sorry to hear that it’s giving you a hard time. Did you reuse the same rod end again after it pulled out? If so, that rod end was stripped from the first time and will keep pulling apart. If the shocks pull apart with new rod ends, you can try limit straps, aluminum rod ends, or adding some CA glue. I run the longest size of Team KNK’s yellow straps, but they are only for looks. You would have to try a smaller size in order for them to actually function on the LMT.
It’s tough to completely eliminate torque twist with solid axle trucks. You can try double checking your sway bars; the LMT has quite a bit of torque twist without them.
@@LVC_RC thx for the response. I figured some was inherent. Just hadn’t seen much as severe as mine on the videos etc.
And yeah I used the same rod end. I examined the threads and the bottom 4/5 or so wasn’t stripped. Was hoping that it just wasn’t tightened down enough.
I recently destroyed a 3/8 inch overbuilt torque bar on my Jeep DJ5 custom build “Gone Postal”. LS plus short wheelbase plus a Currie 60 with 37’s……and yeah, ya got torque twist ha.
Thinking might in part be the weak servo. If I’m doing a wheelie and hit the ground with throttle engaged it yanks hard left, as if the left tire hit the ground a bit sooner and yanked the steering to the left
Thanks! I don't mind if the stock shock/servos/axels are weak because upgrading those with durable parts is my favorite part of RCs.
I would like to see someone put a set of these axles on a CPE Barbarian or Freestyle RC chassis
That would be an awesome combination! Surprised we haven’t seen that yet.
@@LVC_RC my thoughts exactly. It seems like they would work well with either chassis. I have a Barbarian myself but finding a complete built set is not easy. I’m sure I could build a set but I really don’t want to lol
Hi… I just ordered one…. Just how water proof is the truck… can you run it through puddles? Looks like wet snow is ok… regards… Ron
Congrats, have fun with it! It should be able to handle puddles just fine. I’ve done about everything besides submerge mine and I haven’t had problems with the electronics. It’s not rust-proof though. 😜
Is the rear steer a kit or something you put together yourself?

I have had the LMT for 2 weeks and the first outing running at 50% to break in the motor, the rear shock shaft pulled out of the plastic end on the axel and lost the end cap, spring, and the buffer. I am currently looking for an upgrade for shocks. Do you have any suggestions?
Pro-Line Racing PowerStrokes are are always a great upgrade shock, but you'd probably have to do some tuning in order to make them perform well on the LMT. 👍

Very hard to get parts here in Europe. Still waiting for those upgraded axle housings.

@@LVC_RC yep, still runs. Servo was first to break, one of the spindle carrier turning limit stops is broken off. Now I hope these axle braces will keep those small cracks from getting bigger. 🤞

@@yokomodrifter Performance and durability from videos I’ve watched. It’s not a bad truck by any means, but the bar has been set high by the LMT.
@@LVC_RC durability wise things are not that great.most of the reviews bash it because of how fragile the truck is;especially the axles which if you want to upgrade will set you back ~300$.spare parts are also hard to come by...
