Make sure to react to all songs including Armenia and Georgia
Remember, Ukraine won last year not us Brits, we're just throwing their big party 😜😁🇬🇧
The German entry is singing "saint and sinner", nothing devilish there.
Metal is not for Eurovision 🤦♀️
@@Teodora.marjanov005 someone forgot about Lordi…….💀
"How are the songs chosen?"
It depends on each country. Some host special singing competitions (like my country, Iceland), others just send in a song for a jury to vote on, etc. Each country does the song choosing differently.
Also depends on year - aside countries that have decades old competitions like Italy and Sweden, that are used to pick the person - it may vary based on budget and situation in specific country.
For example Poland also have had used The Voice (Kids) or equivalent competition to pick their contestants during few years.
There are also situations where the TV executives pick or invite specific artists.
Iceland has a national selection, not the singing competition
@@meduzsazsa8490 oh, thank you for clarifying how my country does it. So I guess our singing competition "Söngvakeppnin" is not a competition then.
@@katrin896 it is, but it's not a singing competition. Singing competitions are The Voice, X Factor, Idol etc Songvakeppnin is a song competition
I am amazed that you did not recognise Loreen representing Sweden! Loreen represented Sweden back in 2012 with the song Euphoria and won the entire ESC 2012!
You should definitely react to the whole song from Sweden. I know you loved the song Euphoria, so I have a strong feeling you will love Tattoo too! 😊
I loved Euphoria very much (one of the best ESC entries ever to my taste) but Tattoo, I like it but not that much, sorry... it`s a kind of dejà vu. What was original and fresh in Euphoria is not so much once again (singing on the floor barefoot, same arms movements etc)
Latvias song has always been shown in the music video form, im sure if they ever showed the live performance you may appreciate it more. latvias song is a decently popular song, in a tradition lullaby form.
By the way, those list are always in order of what songs the creator likes the most, because you weren't sure about it in the last video.
6:59 Y'all are mistaken. He said "Saint and Sinner"
Germany, Latvia and Romania are so underrated this year...😥
Agreed but Romania had trash staging
@@TrollFog that's easy to improve, the song itself is good though
Sweden's artist won in 2012 and participated in 2023. She's a favorite to win
The Czech song is about the Slavic countries sticking together as "sisters" and standing with Ukraine.
💙💛
For the longest France really wasn't consistent but the past couple years they really stepped up their game and I'm sooo glad cause they keep having some of the best songs in the competition now
Don’t forget that various clip videos will use footage from the official music videos and live performances interchangeably …
sis idk how many times I'm going to commet this but 🇫🇮 finland has performed it live, smashed the performance and was voted to represent 🇫🇮
Btw, Sweden's representative, Loreen, won in 2012 with "Euphoria"
She’s not representing Sweden anymore because she’s sadly going to jail for tax fraud💔 They will probably have to send the 2nd place from their nf😔
@@livinglegendlanadelrey WAIT WHAT?😳👀
Where to did you get this info? And is it true?
@@raivopelcis551 its absolutely not true!❤
@@evipevi1973 okay thanks 😮💨
Don't think you'll ever predict the Eurovision winner - it's far more random than you think.
Also there's a lot of politics in how the people vote.
Side note. Greeces singer is actually 16 and for the first time a contestant is younger than me 😅
6:59 It's SAINT AND SINNER
For the first time ever I've actually seen a Eurovision entrant. I saw Mae Muller (the UK act) years ago as the warm up to Little Mix and she was pretty good so nice to see her representing us. Also the first time in years I've actually heard of our act 😂
I actually saw a eurovision winner too a while ago. Saw Katrina and the waves live.
My wife is from Poland, and from what she tells me, most polish people think Blanka sucks bad xD
"Where's those christian crusaders when you need them?" probably not in Europe, i'll tell you that much more hardcore christians over in USA
Spain type of music is a Bulería a subgenre from Flamenco, a very typical south Spain music, she is also singing a "lullaby", eaea is a soothing onomatopoeia that Spanish mums use to put their children to sleep.
Her song is about a mother singing to her child saying she want to be buried on the moon so she can see her children every night.
So 2 lullaby related songs this year? Whow👍🙂
I'm happy with Lord of the Lost. After the last years it's enough for most of us germans to at least get recognized and collect some points in the contest. We don't have to win. Not being ashamed is already an improvement. :'D Patty Gurdy would've been also fine with me. I like her Song a lot. I think the Live Performance broke her neck. From Outfit to staging - it could have been more fitting and impressive. It's a pity. Trong - always overlooked - is the winner of my heart. The Song wasn't strong enough this year but I still do like him and hope that he doesn't give up on Eurovision. He tried for some years now and I know that he can be "better" than what we saw this year. He is a great performer. The Song was just too weak
Only 2 more songs to be released!!
Armenia - Released on 15th March (TODAY!!!!)
Georgia - Released on 16th March (5pm gmt)
There are so many good songs this year - An idea for a video - Your Review of all the songs (no video clips) - I would really like to hear your opinion about each song (after you hear it in full). Review videos can't get copyright (I think) hehe - All I want to say is - it is hard to judge and get an opinion on something if you watch 10 seconds of it :)
Oh btw the UK didn't win last year, it was Ukraine but they're hosting it because of the war in Ukraine
It is saint and sinner not satans sinner in the german song 😂
Hey! You asked for an explanation about Latvia's entry, so here you go.
The word "Aijā" (the title of the song) is a Latvian word for the action of putting somebody to sleep, so it is a lullaby. Usually, we don't think of lullabies when hearing more rock-inspired songs, but I think it works great and it fits the topic of the song very well. I wouldn't say it's a gimmick at all.
The song is a lullaby for the world and for those, who have hard times right now, for example because of war. It talks about anxiety, stress and other problems. The time signature in this is a bit different, for example it has a 5/4 beat in the verses.
Many people don't like it when listening to it the first time (often because of the unusual time signature), but after listening to it several times, it really grows on people. I like the song a lot because I can really connect to it and everyone can too in his/her own way. The lyrics in this are simple and effective.
Especially the chorus - "Don't cry, I'll try to say the right words at the right times, Sing you lullabies, Please, don't wake up, wake up" gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it. Others might think it's repetitive, I think it's beautiful. Again, this can be connected with the meaning of the song.
The last part of the song is in Latvian. "Aijā, aijā, saldā miegā" (translated it means something like "sweet dreams") is a common phrase in Latvian lullabies and shows again how it's a song for the world that needs to be calmed down.
It's my personal favourite in this year so far and I hope it will qualify in the first semifinal, it's Latvia's best entry in years :)
What are your top 3 songs this year?! 😁💕
1 - Sweden
2 - Finland
3 - Norway
1. Norway
2. Denmark
3. Sweden (yea, super Scandi-centric, sorry, but love those)
Really don't like Spain (sorry), CZ is linked to the Ukraine war - support for Ukrainian (Slavic) sisters, Moldova is called 'Sun and Moon' but don't know the details behind it. Seems to me not gimmicky at all but pretty traditional breaking slightly out from tradition.
By the way, you're gonna need to get used to us Europeans not being very Christian and also definitely not supporting any overtly Christian songs - we're pretty agnostic/athiest over here, despite the history, especially when it comes to Eurovision ;) It's the huge LGBT fan base that lights it up.
@@itsjustme9003 Origanal but i have the same🤣🤣🤣🤣
1 - Spain 🇪🇸
2 - Sweden 🇸🇪
3 - Czech Republic 🇨🇿
1. Sweden
2. Austria
3. France
Love your channel❤ I’m always excited when a new video comes out.
AZERBAIJAWN 1:56 😳😳🥵😠🥺😜😋😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
that reaction is sooo iconic lmao
My favourites are Norway, Finland and Germany from England 🙌🏻🏴
Btw Favour, the songs in these videos are placed by their least favourite to favourite
Germany is so underrated
About Latvian song - it's a lullaby, that they try to sign. If You will listen to liricy you will hear part about TV and protecting someone from outside world ( like protecting child). But it's not only about protecting children from outside world, if You will watch official video, you will see quite dramatic ending, probably with the thought, that we can't always sleep and pretend to unsee outside world, because then it can k**l us.
And also the lullaby part is smothening, but the soft rock part is representing outside world. It's good song, if You will listen and try to put all the pieces together, but that's probably will be the reason why it won't qualify, because You need to analyse it.
funny enough, Spain`s song is literally a lullaby as well
Thank you for even knowing my country exists ❤
We already explained the meaning of Latvia's song before XD
Eurovision is simply a case of “Who can beat Sweden?” this year, Favour. Only a few other countries can do it, Finland and Austria being two of them.
Norway, mate
@@CosmiinBtn Possibly, but I don't see it as it stands.
Spain is winning
@@xibir Well, let's wait until May to find out ...
@@xibir but as it is, most people have been saying Sweden will win, likely just because of the singer being famous already.
Slovenia really is the least gimmicky song out there. It's just a song with a couple of guys. Where do you find the gimmicks? I'm genuinely curious.
Well, my favorite songs this year are from Latvia and Slovenia haha
Future Lover by Brunette aka the representative of Armenia out today! Collapse incoming😘 (Releasing at 19.00 CET)

Polonia por supuesto tiene playa en Mar Báltico, con Rusia, Lituania, Estonia y Letonia, pero ahora hace mucho frío y nieva. El videoclip polaco se rodó en Mónaco.
How can you not like Finland and have Albania in your top 5. Somethings not right there XD
GIRL , DEATH BY MELANIE MARTINEZ IS RELEASING TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT AND IN SOME LOCATIONS ITS ALREADY OUT!!! ITS 5 MINUTES AND 6 SECONDS AND ITS COMING WITH A MUSIC VIDEO!!!!
I like Sweden, Azerbaijan, Norway and Israel
FINLAND AS THE WINNER!✨🥇
my current top 3 is:
Sweden
Latvia
Finland
Germany are saying Saint and sinner but it looks like you heard it as Satan Sinner
Its the same song from Albania, this is just the Music Video!
UK didn't win last year Ukraine did. But it's not safe to have Eurovision there.
Yaaay eurovision reaction!
literally the only person excited for Azerbaijan's song this year lmaooo
also UK did not win last year.
alot of people say the UK won as it is well known that ukraine won mostly because of sympathy and support of the war. but tbf both countries came with good songs.
azerbaijan's song is my first place ^^'
@@marekshole2945 we absolutely do not know how televote points would spread if they wouldn’t go all for ukraine. spain and sweden could have a shot and win over the uk. so no, uk didn’t win and we don’t know if it even would.
@sadsadratatouille5984 well no obviously they didn't win but I was just saying that alot of casual eurovision fans are stating that the UK won just because they came 2nd. I don't belive the UK would of 100% won without the Ukraine war but alot of casual fans are giving it to them
You shuld react to a racap of all songs from sweden in eurovision. As a swed i whuld appriciate it.

Actually if you want you cant vote for more than one song, I think the maximum per phone number is 25 calls.
Azerbaijan has a great potential to come last
React to semi final 1 and semi final 2 each:)
i love your expressions😆🤣
Got my tickets - going to the Jury show on Friday night with my cousin, so we can have the traditional Eurovision party (you'll have to learn how we do traditional Eurovision parties in Ireland/UK/Belgium) on Saturday night in Liverpool.
For me Norway is top and will get my vote, Sweden will probably win, Finland is very interesting in terms of story. Croatia doesn't stand a chance. Unfortunately I don't think France or Spain will either. UK isn't great.
Thank you for your vote🤩👏🏼👏🏼🇳🇴
You comparing France, Spain and the UK with Croatia is a choice 👀
@@percevalmahpouyas9933 in terms of votes :) For Croatia, for me they don't stand a chance even of making the final, but in. the final France, Spain and UK will score quite low on the leaderboard. 2nd half I'd say. So will Germany. Of all of those, I'd say France scores highest, but still nowhere near top 10, and it's not because of the song necessarily, it's just that it doesn't have something special that will make people who normally wouldn't vote for any of the big countries anyway vote for it
@@ESC_ChrisM We said the same thing for Moldova last year, and oh! They were solidly anchored on the left side.
@@percevalmahpouyas9933 sure, but Moldova’s song last year was by a previous eurovision artist that did well and had a catchiness to it and was pretty comprehensible even if you don’t speak Romanian. The Croatian entry is just, weird, and not in a good way. It’ll go out in the semis in my view, but let’s see the week of how it turns out.
Let's hope that Germany wins
Top 15 would be a good result
Greetings from Germany
Azerbaijan' song is very unpopular this year...you will note the video created put them 3rd from the bottom, which is also where they are on the community app so politic aside the fandom doesn't agree with you this year.
Also Azerbaijan singing English? Yes every single year since they started. They have never sent an Azeri song. Only Mata hari contained Azeri.
It's fine, Tschechia carries Ukraine and Bulgaria in their song :D
The Netherlands😍🔛🔝
UK didn't win last year! Ukraine did! UK is just hosting this years ESC!
UK was 2nd place last year. We all know why Ukraine won and that they couldn't host, UK is real winner.

Poor girl...
Lithuania wonderful!❤❤❤
you should react to eurovision on crack 2023!
I don't wanna destroy you dreams of 🇦🇿 Azerbaijan but this year they can be happy if they get more Points then UK in 2021 because there are no Jury's in Semis which will vote them and Televoting Points i don't think so.

Serbia No.1
Sweden No.2
France No.3
You have a nice set germinate said sentence in German sentence in German
I say only this 👍🏾🌏. 🇪🇺 ESC WINNER 2023 in Liverpool is LOREEN and the song is "Tattoo" 🌍 And England was not a Winner 2022 as your mouth say 🇺🇦 It was UKRAIN 🇺🇦 🇺🇦🇸🇪❤️🇸🇪❤️🇸🇪 And explain why the polish people don't have beaches?🇮🇩 That coming from your mouth to..
Can you react to Armenia (came out today) and Georgia (tomorrow) too?
I like Finland.
Btw Sweden only getting hyped up cuz Loreen already won Eurovision, back in 2012. Needless is to say her voice and staging is saving her, cuz the song and the lyrics are meh overall.

Yes Serbia 🇷🇸
France 🔛🔝
Imo it's the worst Azerbaijan's entry ever
We have also liked Johnny Logans 1987 hit hold me now. Its not a cheerful song. Also, 1964 non ho l'eta and 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019.
France winner
Lol you did not recognise Loreen from Sweden the winner of Eurovision 2012
Honestly, I disagree. I think Sweden generally has the best entries, as year after year I have loved their songs. I think Azerbaijan has had some good entries, but I think they have had some bad entries, including this year.
In fact, this year is one of the weakest in my opinion.
I am a Brit, but I am speaking as a resident of Europe. I agree that the UK's entries are usually terrible! 😂
Germany may win.... they came in last Place😪
Where is Armenia and Georgia? It's not fair!!!!
