- This video shows an idea for a Triangle unit using some 2 1/2" strips. This is a great way to use up some leftover 2 1/2" strips or colour co-ordinate favourite colours. The unit measures 2 1/2" x 10 1/2". By making 5 and joining them together a block can be made that will finish at a 10" block when stitched into something. This is also great for borders and columns in a variety of colours.

Another great idea for using up left overs. I can see yet another charity quilt in the making.
This will be my next project - so many possibilities! Thank you, Susan !
I just love traditional quilting and paper piecing projects. I mostly quilt for a variety of charities these days. So look for traditional piecing methods mostly. this looks fun
Great idea, explained with clear instructions! Thank you so much!!
I was thinking fantastic border, as well.
What a lovely idea for using up leftover triangles thank you
Susan...I am new to your channel but find it delightful and so informative for beginner quilters like myself. Your style is so clear and easy to follow.. Brilliant. Thank you for creating a wonderful channel.
I love the contrasting black and white with bright pops of colour in the triangle. Lots of ideas bubbling in my head! Thanks for the inspiration.
I really like the dark contrast on one side. Really pops!. I'll be making this block idea for sure. Thank you for all your tutorials.
Hi Susan! Great tutorial!!!
Great block! Thanks 😊
Inspired as usual 😃 What a versatile block to make 👍👍
Another wonderful tutorial. I like the idea of keeping the little hst that are cut off when creating the strip as I remember you using them in one of your Tasty Treats projects last year. Economical and effective use of fabric. Love it.
Very clever. I like the look very much.
One of the cutest ideas for an old block thanks
Loved this project 👌👌👏🥰
I have some batik triangles cut years ago from left over strips. You got my brain perking!
Wonderful idea, thank you so much 😊
Great idea. Thank you!
Hi Susan, First off, thanks so much for your “delicious“ videos. I’ve learned a lot and joined two series classes. My question is, could you please make a tutorial about how to use those hst triangles. I have zillions in all sizes. Also, do you use them immediately or put them in boxes and bags like me. Help!
I love this block, great to use leftover scraps for the center triangle. I always make a smaller secondary triangle too, waste not, want not!
So neat I love how they look like flying geese but wider
You have great ideas
So many possibilities. Really nice!
Thanks from Russia!

You made that look sew easy ❤️
Fun! Thank you for the idea.
This has to go on my to do list!
I save all the bonus HSTs from trimming. But now, what to use them for? How about a tutorial for ideas? I square mine to 1.5 inches. I enjoy all your tutorials but especially the ones using scraps! Thanks. Your channel is wonderful.
Muy hermoso ese proyecto, felicitaciones 👏 👏
