Fun Time Idea using 1 1/2" strips - Quilting Tips & Techniques with GourmetQuilter

  • This video shows an idea for using some 1 1/2" strips - joining them in pairs then marking, stitching and cutting them to make blocks.The blocks can be turned this way and that for different effect. After cutting and joining up into a block, the block will measure 4 1/4"" square so will finish at 3 3/4" when stitched into a quilt. This is a great way to use up some leftover 1 1/2" strips or cut your own. So much fun to play!

    Having a heck of a time trying to convert the math to turn this beauty into using 2 1/2 inch strips since I have so many of those......any help would be GREATLY appreciated (not too good at this kind of math) - LOVE your channel and have for years!!

      I bought mine on Amazon. It was a package of 3 colors. Glow line tape was the name.
