Vegan Eggnog Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups plant-based milk (oat, soy, almond, or coconut)
- 2 tablespoons oats (or hemp seeds for a protein boost)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Dash of turmeric (for color)
- 1/2 small banana (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or 2 Medjool dates)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon rum (or rum extract for a non-alcoholic version)
Instructions:
1. In a blender, combine plant-based milk, oats (or hemp seeds), cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric, banana, maple syrup (or dates), vanilla extract, and rum.
2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
3. Pour into a glass and, if desired, sprinkle fresh nutmeg and cinnamon on top.
4. Enjoy your delicious vegan eggnog!
Note:
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum or use rum extract.
- Customize the sweetness according to your taste preferences.
- Feel free to garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg before serving.

Can this be made ahead of time, maybe a few hours? Or is this best served immediately?
I bet you could make this a day or two ahead of time. Just shake it well before serving because the thickeners can separate.
Best fresh, but can be made ahead and shake it or reblend it before serving.
Heck you know the old saying it's got to be noon somewhere when you put the rum in it lol😂 I'm going to try this one I've got all the ingredients except for the rum boohoo
