In my opinion, Chessington is the best family park in the Uk. I don’t consider Alton Towers or Thorpe Park to be family parks. A family park is something like Chessington or LegoLand where there aren’t too many rides for older people (1.4M height limit) and a family of differing ages can enjoy it
Damn I honestly miss being able to walk around parks like this with the people that mean the most to you without having to worry about infection and social distancing. Wonder when the good times of full parks with that amazing atmosphere we all recognise will be back
You see, I love it when you show us the que line, it’s so nice to see any changes because not a lot of the POVs on CZcams don’t show the que lines, it’s why I really enjoy watching TPW
I actually went on the 14th of March for the special services day and all the staff were so much more friendly and polite, they always are friendly obviously but they were just really sweet, one thing was that we parked in the hotel car park so went through that entrance and the fast track stand there said there was no fast track today, half way through the day my mum found another stand and they had fast track tickets!
Very poor that the pirates ship wasn't ready for the start of the season, looks no different from last year's progress. They need to get their act together. Great vlog as always shawn.

Another great Adam and Alex and Shawn show great to see the park busy in these uncertain times with the virus I just hope alton towers remains open and Thorpe they already stopped there party and Warwick Castle closed some parts and Skegness theme parks hope everyone is staying safe and washing there hands and Boris don't lock us down

Great to get to see the changes in the park. Awesome video. Really great ride on Tomb Blaster. Loved the seperate pov. Its my local park. Sad that its closed for a while. The Tomb Blaster audio is awesome. Im glad Chessington have made some all important updates. Im glad so many people vlogged the day in own way as I didnt get to go. I wonder Shawn if you have a bit of Influence to the audio, theming etc.
The animatronic in Vampire's station looks fantastic. Just a little bit of kinetic energy can add so much to a ride's atmosphere. Also, thank you for keeping us all entertained as we self-isolate. You and the other members of the team are doing great work :)
Wow, more hints of an Australian trip! I've always hoped TPW would check out our parks here someday, so I'm very exited to hear it might finally be happening! Just a bit of a heads up (though you most likely know this already) Village Roadshow Theme Parks have confirmed that construction of the new Leviathan wooden coaster at Sea World will be pushed back due to the current virus situation and is now expected to open in mid 2021. There are also rumors that Dreamworld's new coaster will be delayed until next year as well. I hope you weren't planing to visit before then as these are some of the biggest investments our parks have made over the past few years (except for DC Rivals of course) and I think it will be well worth holding off to experience them (this hole virus thing should fully blow over by then too). Also, have you considered visiting Melbourne's parks such as Funfields, Adventure Park Geelong and Gumbuya World? Those are all very nice parks that are defiantly worth your time if you can fit them in. This of course is assuming there is indeed an Aussie trip coming. I really hope there is as we have plenty of parks down under that are defiantly worth checking out!!
Same here!! I RARELY use the main queues!! Had to be done though for the last ride of the day for me!! Saved vampire till the end and pretty sure Shawn may have seen my reaction being priceless to the updates!!
Chessington really has done a great job and the park looks great. So much maintenance and improvements really keep this one of the best themed parks in the UK. I am not a fan of the new Vampire soundtrack and the V patch on the jacket makes it look a bit tacky. Still the Vampire needs to stay and needs as much love as it can get. I wish they took out the blasting from the tomb with that new soundtrack. Still Chessie deserves so much praise for ongoing improvements and dare I say Alton Towers looks a bit embarrassing in recent years compared to Chessington.
😱 the croc falls came from Weymouth sealife not Great Yarmouth sealife 😂 Glad they've done alot of revamping including the legend that is vampire my first ever rollercoaster from when I was 6 and got me loving them Wish they would put in sound effects on the guns for tomb raider

Great job as always! I do not like the new added music to the Vampire station... The original is just fine on its own. Also do not like the mix of different colours in the station but apart from that the Vampire is still a great ride and a classic.
I still miss Hocus Pocus Hall. Especially that interactive door that used to be near the queueline. Also in my opinion Tomb Blaster needs all it's laser stuff taking out. It's too outdated
