Chessington was my original stomping ground. First time I went at age 8, it was the golden age of exit passes, and I went on Vampire 16 times. Got a letter from a Merlin higher up saying I was one of their best explorers, which was pretty sick

yesterday I went on vampire, I was super excited as it was my favourite ride when I was younger and I went on it and I screamed so loud “DAN IS RIGHT THIS NEEDS A RETRRACK”😂😂

Haha, literally just went there last week and tried Mandrill Mayhem and Vampire for the first time. But I really do have to admit, Elmer's Flying Jumbos will always just be better.

Great video! I went to Chessington for the first time yesterday and I have to say it was a lot of fun! I agree with Mandrill mayhem, it’s such a fun ride! I personally liked rattlesnake quite a lot, me and my brother couldn’t stop laughing at the corners!
I’m going with my school for my end of year trip! Me and my friends are super excited!!

Went to Chessington today and it was around 5:00, we were right at the end of the 1 hour+ queue for dragons fury when it broke down and we were all kicked out the queue with a free fast pass. Went to ostrich stampede in jumanji and THAT broke down in the middle of the queue, so we left and used the fast passes on mandrill mayhem when we’d already gone on it earlier on 😭

When I went , I couldn’t get on mandrill cuz of virtual queues being full all day , dragons fury broke down as we were about to go on it (we did get 1 free fast pass but it was ALMOST the end of the day). Croc drop was also closed. Then it got worse because at the end of the day I only got on 3 rides. Vampire (2x) , Rattlesnake 🤮and kobra. It was a busy day , I got to admit.
I went yesterday and walked straight on it without the virtual queue, everywhere was quiet

Yes amazing Video I went on loads of rides (vampire, dragons fury,rattlesnake and mandrill mayhem) being my favourites!! I love Chessington so much. I went in August. I really want to go again as-well! I recommend fast pass for dragons fury and vampire and rattlesnake i waited so so long. Also a long queue for tomb blasters for some reason!

By the way, monkey swinger and tomb blaster are closed, the signs outside say that they’re undergoing health checks, and they’ve been closed since the start of the season the other week, they’re also not listed on the queue times on the app and their name isn’t on the map.

I went on gruffallo a few years back on a trip to chessington, and the ride broke, we got stuck on the hill in our lil ring for about 40 mins lmao

I went with my kids last year and Mandrill was closed unfortunately but 🤞🏻 hopefully it's open when we visit soon. My favourite ride there is Vampire and I've convinced my teenager that it's really special 🦇 my 2 year old hated the gruffalo ride yet loved Tomb Blaster 😂

I went on the gruffalo ride to be funny but I very genuinely almost fell out of it like three times those dips are no joke

me and my mates got mcdonalds at 7 am yesterday, got on the bus to go home, he said "english or spansih" we didnt get of the bus and edned up at chessington, paid 121 and went in chessington, its so fun
Been reading all the comments... Going for the first time to chessington probably went when i was really little i don't even remember... Going as part of a school trip. Any recommendations? Ive gotta let go of my fear of high rides and heights. Especially since ive done a few roller coasters but cant keep my eyes open lol😂
Got my first ride on mandrill last week! Honestly best ride I’ve been on the speed it went through the station was just unexpected. Also go on vampire after mandrill and you think why am I in so much pain!

putting the buffalo ride over kobra and rattlesnake is a crime, also dragon's falls deserves it's position, always been a banger, even though the park is in denial about it's true name, same with black buccaneer

I go chessington 5 times a year and have never got bored

Rattlesnake is a very fun ride and worthy of number 6
Vampire is not as good as I remember it as it is forceless in some areas
Gruffalo may have been number 2 if it was still bubbleworks
Mandrill Mayhem is overrated, and the restraints dig into my collar bone, making the ride experience less enjoyable for me
Dragon's Fury was always my favourite, and my recent visits consolidated that for me as the spin is brilliant
Went on vampire it was really good. To be honest I can’t decide what’s my favourite ride it’s between vampire or mandrill mayhem when on Dragons fury, it was really bumpy Bang my head on the car twice

My favourite is the Railway Express or something LOL, but I'm also not a huge fan of the Vampire, and on Tiger Rock I say at the front and literally screamed.

My first rollercoaster was here, I think I was 8 or 9... I must admit I did cry because that lifthill for dragons fury scared me to death. Like that noise wtf.
in a way, I'm sort of glad I'm an old fart at 38. I'm lucky enough to remember Rameses Revenge, Terror Tomb AND bubbleworks!
not been in decades though so that's not to say it's not good now, Vampire is a classic - I'm glad that's still there!!

I really want Thorpe Park to bring back brave it backwards because I never got to do it and I wanna do it.
I've only been once and I arrived at 12pm the place was so busy and the queues so long I only got to go on two decent rides, then it closed. 2 rides in 5 hours.
