  • In this video, I am finally going to upgrade the body on my LCG Belly Dragger, Gspeed Element Enduro. Although it's quickly becoming the next Powerwagon fad, I still wanted to give the Pro-line Cliffhanger body a try. In doing so I wanted to do a quick comparison of Jconcepts Creep vs. Proline Cliffhanger, as it should provide a great reference point for those of you looking for the next body for your crawler.

    There both awesome bodies!! I went with the jconcepts 89 tucked Ford, that’s why I went with it. As cool as the cliffhanger is it’s the new “power wagon”! Don’t see a lot of tucked fords but there out there!! Great vid as always!!!🤩🤩👍🏼

      @BigSungHobbies  Před 2 lety

      Yeah, it’s definitely becoming the new “power wagon”. I had the body since pre-order, and it’s been sitting at my garage for several months. I finally got the time to film and work on it. I got the first test done yesterday and it did great.

    the new Ecto body is a good choice also

    i like the ecto body over them all...lol..basically a creep body..but better looking

    • @BigSungHobbies

      I have used all 3 extensibly. You won't go wrong with any one of them. I agree that Ecto looks better than Creep. On the other hand, Creep is the lightest of the bunch.

    I wish I saw this video two weeks ago when I bought my metric body I was looking for that cliffhanger and I couldn't find it I like both parties but I think the cliffhangers the one

    I also like the Jconcepts "tucked" F-250 body a little more than the Cliffhanger.

    Another nice video. Quick question: do both bodies fit a 12.8 wheel based gspeed v3 build? I think both bodies are for 12.3

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes, they do. My Gspeed Element is running 12.8 wheelbase.

      @@BigSungHobbies did you use element body post for it or had to get gspeed body post to fit those bodies? Thx

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  Před 2 lety

      @@jackking5631 I used Gspeed body post mounts. You cam make it work with Element body post mounts, but its definitely cleaner with Gspeed ones.

    Nice!!!🤨 Paint job transfer for black/red color scheme, for the return of the (Red Back CliffWalker) it means for (Crawling spider), I hope you change your ideas for paint styles.🏗️☕👍

    Which one would you say is thicker and more durable? I saw some video comparisons between the two, and it seems PL is better.

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  Před 2 lety

      Cliffhanger is definitely thicker and heavier. But surprisingly Creep is quite durable and lasted a long time. I don’t think you will go wrong with either one.

      I got the chance to try out the Cliffhanger body during Pro-Line By The Fire 2021. It performed really well.

    The creep isn't comp legal without fenders on front though is it..? Cliffhanger is a good balance of scale and performance I think. Will definitely give one a go.
    Cheers👍

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  Před 2 lety

      It's been so long, but I think Creep had fenders...I just cut it for tire clearance. But I agree that Cliffhanger is a good balance of scale and performance. It performed really well at Pro-Line By The Fire 2021 event. I can see why it's so popular.

    Proline poor quality mine cracked after one flip over

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  Před 2 lety +1

      I am still running mine. It does look like the plastic is stiffer than JConcepts, but at the same time, it has tendency to crack on bad falls. The thinner Jconcepts seem to have a better give.
