This body looks a lot cooler painted and on the truck than it does on prolines website. Super cool truck and really inspires me to play with my scx10 ii more. Glad you chose this body; it looks great on that truck

Maybe you could lengthen the wheelbase on the sv2 to 12.5 like the cappra to help on the crack of doom. You can custom order those links in any length you want

Cool man. Looks good. For the best paint results, I recommend Tamiya masking tape. I've never had that stuff bleed on me.

Almost!😀 but 🤔 I think the (Cliffhanger) needs more flexibility on the Crack of Doom😂 this thing can do yoga in RC, hopefully 🤔 if it passes this test soon, the body looks good.😎👍☕🏗️

Joe, try the dig on the crack o doom to load up the front tires, or free wheel the rear. There HAS to be a line that thing can use. It's amazing! Do not except defeat.

That yellow just pops and the blue is a nice touch.
Stuff the canopy with a rag before masking. Makes it easier and the rag can catch any bleed.

The color looks awesome against the rocks and the body bend was a great idea; looks even lower now. Painting is hard man lol maybe some vinyl striping/pin-striping could clean those edges up and add some depth. Turning out to be my favorite of the fleet!

Painting has always been a weak point for me too. It functions like a champ though!
I'm gonna try to paint a combo rust and bare metal on the inside and some sort of color on the outside, then the dings and scrapes/scratches will show the inner colors

any special tips on how you bent the body (for the faux sliders) without jacking it up to badly?
Take some 1/8 delrin and bolt it to the folded over body section.
Yo brother. Take thin gray pinline next to the blue and it will clean up really nice. Take that blob sticker of 😥

I haven’t. Maybe on the back as I need something different in them.

Haven’t really thought of it as a portal vs straight issue on that. Hmmm
Paint doesn't look that bad... iv painted around 12 to 15 bodies on all different vehicles over my 15 years of rc, and still I can't make them perfect 👌, but its okay cause I always like what comes out
One thing that you could do to make the body look better is to paint the inside black
why? that would darken the overall color, I want mine to be bright
@@ExocagedRC it would make it look better when you look through the windows or under the fenders so it looks a bit more scale. But i can tell that scale isn’t what you are going for anyway haha
@@ExocagedRC concur that no backing makes bright colors brighter, but if you don’t black out the windows it’s hard to ‘suspend disbelief’. That is, the innards are distracting. No doubt, that yellow pops as it is, tho.

I just folded it by hand at the body line.
