Post-production completed 17th October 2021
Following on from my previous couple of films, I continue to explain more about what is involved in a typical day’s shooting for each film I make.
Filmed in the Peak District in the counties of Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Locations include Longnor, Crowdecote, Glutton Bridge, Parkhouse Hill, Chrome Hills and Hollinsclough.
Written, researched, directed, camera and sound, edited and music by Patrick Leach.
Special thanks to Let’s Go Peak District for their information used in my research for this film.

DISCLAIMER: Although I work hard to ensure all information is correct to the best of my knowledge, I am only featuring information I have found online during my research when putting this film together, so I cannot guarantee that there are no mistakes or errors.
As with all the films I make, this is a mini-movie of my personal journey along the walk, in which I might share some of my own personal stories, and not actually intended to be a guide to the area.

I’ve been looking forward to this Friday treat all week. Great as usual.
Pleased you enjoyed it as always, many thanks 👍
Great video again Patrick. We've only been to Longnor once, about 20 yrs ago, while we were camping nearby but it hasn't changed a bit! All this area, we class as on our doorstep! I can't count the amount of times we have walked Dovedale to Milldale but we've never been to any of the other small villages! Thank you again!
Glad you enjoyed it Maggi, many thanks! All the best 👍
A beautiful relaxing film in great company, have loved every minute of your 158 films Patrick, thank you so much for sharing them with us,Pete.
Many thanks Pete as always! 👍
Sounds like an interesting historical place to visit Longnor and good sunny the weather for you. You are lucky to be surrounded by such beautiful countryside. I know the feeling of wading in mud too. Your audience of cows made me smile! Lovely music Patrick. Arpeggio music is one of my favourite styles. Very pleasant arrangement to hear.
Longnor is indeed a nice place and it was a great day for weather. I just had to shoot some footages of those cows, it was so funny! Glad you liked the music again. I enjoy arpeggios too and I've done several before now with the piano sound. As always, thanks for your kind words Shanita and for watching 👍
A really interesting walk there Patrick. Definitely lots to see. Nice to see those cows give you a welcoming party. It’s always better to be on the opposite side of the wall to them though 😆. Looks like you’re getting closer to Parkhouse and Chrome Hill. Nice to see those iconic hills from a different vantage point
Many thanks Anthony, yes this is a less commonly known walk I would say, apart from passing below the two iconic hills, so yes I'm getting closer to them. They are just so photographic so it was good to get different angles of them on this walk. I just had to film those cows too, but certainly kept my distance from them and was on the far side of the lane 😂 Thanks for watching Anthony 👍
One minute you have a backlog of walks to edit due to software issues, the next you are in October. Nice to see you caught up. Not bad weather for the time of year either. Looking forward to seeing you scale those bills. Longnor seems a great place for a walk, away from the crowds of other parts nearby. Lovely as always and thanks.
I was thinking I was never going to be able to edit films a few months ago, but now I seem to be churning out films left right and centre! Longnor is a nice village and all around there, aside from those two hills, you can walk for miles withut seeing a soul. Thanks Kelly for watching and commenting 👍
Superb as usual Patrick... i was taken with chrome hill it looked very inviting mate...but the whole walk was very enjoyable ...understand what you mean about backing your films up .. first thing we do on returning from our walks is back every thing up before sitting down and looking at what weve captured during our walks....Thank you so much for another cracking video....almost up to date now too.... lol ...stay safe ..regards Frank & Lee......
Many thanks Frank and Lee. Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hills are lovely, so who knows what we'll see next. This is a nice walk as it was less busy. Yep I always back up my video footage as soon as I'm back home from the day of filming. Thanks again Frank and Lee 👍
Hello Patrick, I just wanted to say how very much I enjoy your cheerful walks and the lovely music you compose. I'm now in retirement and am starting to walk out in to our beautiful nature. You inspire me to actually get out there. Thank you.
Hello my friend and thank you for your lovely comments and for taking the time to watch the films of my walks. All the best to you 👍
Have a great weekend Patrick.
Thanks, you too Luke 👍
Wonderful film Patrick. Lovely part of the world. We camped in Crowdecote in August and climbed Chrome & Parkhouse Hill. Definitely worth it for the views. Longnor is a beautiful old town. Hoping to return next year.
Glad you enjoyed it Ruth, many thanks for your kind words and for taking the time to watch 👍

Nice one Patrick. Followed in your footsteps (Jan 22) very wet underfoot but still good. Unfortunately the path out of Hollinsclough was closed so had to take the road slog back towards Longnor.
Thanks for watching Phil, glad you decided to do the walk too 👍
Another quality film Patrick, you deserve so many more subscribers than you currently have.

done this walk a few times lovely walk great views.
Nice one Andrew 👍
Hi Patrick. Another well informed and presented video. Like how you give the date of each video. Most don't which is a tad annoying. Excellent picture clarity even way down here in New Zealand. 👍
Thanks Chris, I've just got into the habit of saying the date, but all that information is always available in the description below the video, but I know many people don't seem to read that. Thanks again for taking the time to watch 👍
Another beautiful walk and my goodness those tranquil villages are right up my street and the scenery truly beautiful. Great work Patrick and the weather here in my part of North Yorkshire has been terrible so this was a perfect pick me up.
Thanks again Jeff, yes I love these backwater villages where you rarely meet another soul. Weather's been pretty bad down here lately too, so glad this has helped to cheer things up 👍
@@solitaryrambler Absolutely. Keep up the brilliant work.
