Quick, Easy and even indulgent. Salmon is a wonderful main course that you can whip up in no time flat. You don't have to get the expensive variety, I just got such a good deal on this wild caught salmon I couldn't resist!
Steamed slowly with lemon, onion and dill then topped of with a cold sour cream and dill sauce, you will think that you sat yourself down in an expensive gourmet restaurant, but you did it yourself for a fraction of the cost!
I hope you give this a try and I hope you love it!
Happy Eating!

Thanks for this. I brushed salmon with a little melted butter, olive oil and minced garlic, salt and pepper, topped with some of your sauce, sliced lemons, sliced red onion and chopped dill. Wrapped in foil and baked in the oven. Served it with extra sauce, rice and veggies. Awesome.
Excellent pace, I really liked the timing. Very educational and very helpful, most excellent recipe!
I literally guffawed when you cracked the kids choking on bones joke. You are too funny Noreen.
I have used many of your recipes or some version of them-you make good cooking look easy and some of your dishes as great. The shows you do that I often find myself going to for-if not new at least interesting-are you shows on some of the American classics like steak diane or stuffed pork chops. Really enjpy your channel and thanks for posting-going to use this one tomorrow.
Thanks for the comment. Even if I have never done videos on Steak Diane or stuffed pork chops. LOL
Looks nice
Not a big Salmon fan. That being said, that looked really good. I had a Salmon recipe that they were sampling from Costco once at a house warming and it was soooo good. I never figured out what the sauce on top was. This may have been it. I have to try this. No can do on the capers though. I can't wait to try this. Thanks for posting.
Thanks ! I love salmon
That looks Good !
Looks delicious. I want to try this recipe tonight with some homeade pasta in a white wine lemon butter caper sauce
Noreen, thank you so much for sharing this wonderful dish! Watching it makes my mouth water so for sure I'll give it a try one day. And by the way, I think you have such a merry personality. :)

To stir or not to stir ! That's the question. Lol. Do as you please. It's your kitchen your dinner. Bon appetite
nicely done !!!!!!
Very nice
Noreen-you have one of the best cooking video presentations out there! I've been looking for a way to better my sour creme sauce for salmon & this is it-One thing I would like to let people know though is Nasturtium buds can be used as a substitute for caper berries after being pickled. But true capers come from a caper bush(Capparis spinosa). Thanks for the recipes both this one & the zucchine fettuccine.
