The plastic on the first jug must have offered enough resistance to the polymer tip, to push it back into the hollow point and "cookie cutter" a little patch of t- shirt. Dought it would happen much.
Genuinely surprised to see the Critical Defense get clogged like that. My assumption had always been that those four layers of cotton tee shirt would pose no issues for any premium hollow point and we kind of redundant, especially with a Critical Defense that is specifically designed to prevent clogging. It appears now that this is why we don't make assumptions and test these things. Even with this clogging, I still think it did an outstanding result (nothing says hollow points have to look pretty afterwards)
Right. Did the complete opposite. The first round did what it was supposed too. I've tested in the past also and it actually did pretty good. Just didn't like the jugs that day I guess🤔
U should really try cor-bons 135 grain which advertises 525 ft lbs of muzzle energy. ScubaOz shot it with a g27 thru gel and it had a massive wound cavity penetrating 14 inches. Btw, u deserve more subscribers. U have a great channel. Im always coming back just to watch the same videos over again. Lol
That's a pretty tough one to find but if I come up on some I will absolutely put a test up for ya😁. Thank you very much!! I'm glad u enjoy the channel, I really appreciate the support and kind words. Thanks again😁👍
Ooooo....nasty expansion. Interesting results. My results were all like the recovered bullet you found later. I believe we got 3 jugs and 4 jugs on our tests with no clothing. I got 1130 avg. out of my 3.5" M&P40c and 1160s out of a Stock Glock G23 4". My expanded bullets are .65-.725". Appreciate you doing this one. It has been my choice for edc for a few years. Good job.
Thank you sir, appreciate that!! Sounds like u got some pretty good results. In the past when I tested it, it did pretty good but was giving me issues that day. I have the one u requested coming up soon the 175gr critical duty. I don't want to let out any spoilers but it did really good out of the short barrel. I was very impressed. I should have it up soon for u. Thanks as always my friend!!
@@PerceptionVsReality333their actually not one of the best .40s, their actually one of the worst .40s, their known to explode and is a very common thing with the Glock 40 caliber.
going thru that round could do some serious damage, all jagged and pointy ..
Right. It was a nasty one.
More jagged the better
Those are pretty hot and you feel it , great round and tiny little soft orange flash at night .
Awesome video. We used this ammo in our police department.
Thank you!! Very cool, definitely a good choice. I should have a gel test soon for ya😁

Sir may I request you 135 grain ammo 40cal.vs 185grain plus p 45acp
One of my back up rounds. 💪🏾💯👏🏾👏🏾
Nice, I should have a gel test up soon for ya.
@AZ Airgunner 👏🏾plz do. I just changed ammo & put this in my PX4 Storm Subcompact 17rd.
I’m on the same boat as you. Px4 storm full size .40 s&w. Just bought these exact rounds recently 😂
This is a beast of a round out of longer barrels. I averaged 1250+ fps out of my Glock 35 with a KKM threaded barrel.
Shit I get 1150 from a 3.3. inch xd-s..
That's cooking for 40 ...
Dam I was hoping to reach maybe a little under that with my Glock 22
I was getting just under 1,192 fps with a Glock22 awhile back.
That's crazy. The red tip thing is supposed to prevent the plugging.
Right. Did the complete opposite. The first round did what it was supposed too. I've tested in the past also and it actually did pretty good. Just didn't like the jugs that day I guess🤔
Damn. I haven't seen the chrono work that well in a while.
😂

These stay in my PX4 storm subcompact 40s&w.

@@AzAirgunner. Excellent. Looking forward to it. Keep up the good work. Stay safe out there.
Glock 27 has to be one of the most boring guns ever made
Gen 3? Na I’ll have to disagree.
@@SneakHeat23u definitely put a switch on yo shit
No it's not, it's one of the best .40 subcompact pistols out there.

That's the old models from thirty plus years ago & those issues have been resolved two decades ago.
