      All you have to do is use an extension in the 7 mm socket and set it on the valve seal over the rubber part but it still grabs the metal part of the seal oil them up really good too and then just tap it on the valve guide

      The brake piston looks like it's at it's max, you will need brake pads. It will stop but you don't want the piston to move out of the caliper bore or the pressure will blow out the seal.
      As I said before use the Dremel to cut slots, use some PB Blaster but you have to use a torch getting the aluminum really hot, the key here is lots of heat.

    If the kill switch don't kill the engine and it revs to the moon, it most likely means you had detonation because of 1 or more hot spots in your top... Which again means you could be running lean, using wrong plug or have a damaged top.

    To bleed brakes you have to pump it up, hold the brake after pressure builds then you open the bleeder valve and quickly close it. Then repeat until all air is gone from the system. Just a little tip dude. I like that you work on bikes. Food for thought buddy.

    can someone please tell me why you would take your brake reservoir off the mount and fill it up with fluid instead of cutting the zip tie off the frame guard and doing it the right way.

    • @bluestripes1
      @bluestripes1 Před 3 lety

      the Exhaust pipe goes over the top of the reservoir lid when its mounted to the frame, so you cant access the ttwo philips heads screws to remove the reservoir cap unless you first unbolt it from the frame and pull it away a bit, this gives you access to the screws. The problem is the exhaust, the heel plate has nothing to do with it.

  • @microsoftteams2663
    @microsoftteams2663 Před rokem

    Rear brake pedals need 2 to 3 mm of free play. After that free play travel, the pedal should come to a nice solid-feel stop at, say 12mm downward. Not solid? Bleed the rear cylinder again. You had an odd way of bleeding the brake. ...........Pump the brake four times...keep pressure on the brake pedal and don't let up yet. Reach to the bleed valve and let air and fluid escape and the pedal should sink to its lowest point of travel. Continue holding the pedal down at its lowest point while you tighten up the valve. Should be noticeably better. But if not, repeat the above procedure until the pedal feels solid (and no more air comes out of the opened valve.) Same thing with the front brake. LOL, same thing with ALL car brakes.

    Wow, cardinal rule about 2 strokes!!!! Don't run out of gas at high speed! Could have locked the piston cylinder up. Could have damaged the bottom connecting rod bearing. Restarting it? That’s not a 1995 kx 250, looking from video it’s a 1992, 93 shares same frame and plastic design!
    93on has round cylinder head and different power valve sets up!
