I am riding my 2011 R6 every day even though the winter it's my main transportation.on days that are not so good for my R6 wanting something more manageable. Let me know.one way or another. Possibly the vent on gas tank was the problem.I have had same problem before on many rides and if when you pulled the carb and tank loosen up and then it got clogged again

I’m not 100% sure or not but if the power valve is not in there when that lets compression out having a big giant hole in the side of the engine like that

I bought a new CB350 in 1971. I paid about $850. I took it on a 2 month trip. Mine was gold with a white stripe on the tank.

Throttle is very responsive and it goes right back down to idle, I would say the jetting is on point but you won’t know 100% until you give her the beans and go one-fitty

You know that bike is designed to be ripped and whipped. 6 days winner several times.

You have a few cracks in the boot between the carb and air box in case you didn’t catch it.

That spark plug tester is a really good diagnostic tool for the arsenal I must say.

Great bike, I grew up on one. Picked up 3 more, hopefully will have time to restore one when I find time.

Had an 04 625 SMC, with Full Akra exhaust, Rallye cam, rejet carb, lithium battery, radial m/c, under 300 lbs wet, till sold @ 14 k miles. Beat many 1000cc sportbikes on the dragon. There was a recall on a cam follower bearing that KTM didn't tell anyone about, incl myself until it failed and had to replace bearings, cam, valves and head. Make it a priority to research the recalled bearing and replace those bearings. Also, try to store older carbureted bikes vertical, not on side stand as this will wear an oval shape in the carb where float needle goes-that's what causes them to stick and either not get gas or piss it out the overflow tube. If that has already occurred, you can take a dremel and the white soft polishing attachment, cut w/ dykes to just fit into hole and use polishing compound till it is bright- this will make it round again, so float needle doesn't stick.

Why is stabil bad?? my 2015 honda cbr 650 f has been sitting for 6 years cuz someone mangled the ignition trying to steal it. it had stabil in it at the time. Ya, the lock and ignition package is wildly expensive when the bike was newer. its cheaper now but still crazy expensive to get done.
