  • In a first , (Not an upcoming April fools joke) South West Water has made an offer for you to get your leaking WC fixed with these stickers, either by using a plumber, or if you are a DIY person paying for the materials. Al, shows what`s on offer and how to fix it yourself. Hurry it is a limited time offer. STICK WITH IT. Couldn't resist that one. I DO SHOW HOW TO FIX IT YOURSELF AFTER ALL.

That's a genius idea, well done South West Water. I used to live in Falmouth (born there),but live on the Isle of Skye now, so our water bills are lumped in with our council tax. But that is as I say, a genius idea.

I had this for years, and finally bought a flush seal for my Grohe concealed cistern just last week.
I live in a rented property, and could have gone to the landlord, but couldn't be bothered.
It cost me £5 and took less than a minute.
The crazy thing is that a call-out plumber probably WOULD charge that full £150 for a job a child could do.

Good day to you and thanks for your video. I always enjoy your content. North East Water do something similar promoting saving water, they send along a plumber who works for north east water to check out water leakage in general throughout the house. Regards Mike in

Don’t be under the illusion that they are paying for it, it’s coming out of the mass profits that water companies get.

Here in North Wales we don't have to worry about all this because we have too much water . Plus I have a Victorian style toilet anyway which I have fixed myself.

I help to manage a HMO property with 11 toilets and when checked recently 7 were leaking to a total of 30ltrs per hour according to our local water supplier.

My toilet cystern started trickling constantly down the internal overflow and then i could smell water in the house but not sewage. I tied up the flysh for a couple days and the water smell went. I'm concerned that the constant truckling has been leaking under the floor from the soil pipe.
