Hi, I'm a mo cap performer and videos like that make me even more appreciative of ppl who are behind the scenes and make it all possible. I also, if I may, wanted to share a painful story of mine about involving Resident Evil Remakes.
In 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the motion capture role of Leon for the upcoming RE 2 Remake.
I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part...☹
Now many years later, when I see how successful those remakes are I can't believe I wasted such a chance.

I wish you'd explain what really happens at the motion layer level. What does this do to the base motion? Does it carry all the way across? Are there handles to control that? When you flatten the whole thing, is an entire motion base curve pulled up or down? I've given up on the edit motion layer because it seems to just mess with everything past that point, and sometimes it's not desirable later. So you try to do the opposite, and end up with jerky movements. Seems better to work on the base motion layer where you can see what's really happening. Butt if it were defined what's really going on, that might make it better to use when total accuracy is needed.
