Getting over my fear of working with Epoxy...

- On this project, I've collaborated with Ecopoxy to test out their new FlowCast epoxy system. With it, I hope to get over my fear of working with epoxy resins and all of the potential pitfalls that come along with them. The Flowcast epoxy system advertises itself as a deep pouring epoxy with the ability to release trapped air bubbles as is it cures. Does it hold? Let's find out.

I have literally no idea how your channel isn't bigger. The quality of the product and the videos are EXCELLENT
Haha thank you so much, hopefully in time more people will find it! Its not that old yet
i don't think i'll be watching anymore - I watched at least 5 ads.... well skipped mostly. i watched a couple as i do with most channels.
but 5+? when there is a paid promotion, so there is already income going to the channel.
nope.
plenty of other good channels out there that get by just fine w/1 or 2 ads.
@@Witty..UserName somehow i didnt get a single one druing the video (no adblock)
@@Witty..UserName I got 0 ads throughout this video.
@@Witty..UserName it's worth it if it will keep the content creator putting time/effort into his/her craft in my opinion.... if you watch them all the way through it really helps out the person you're watching and i really recommend doing so for these creators
I came across this video by chance, CZcams recommended it I’m so glad I did. I love the combination of wood and resin especially in furniture, as an Architect I can say this I the best table DIY built I ever seen. Its elegant, simple, sophisticated and the same time it has an industrial feel. I'll definitely buy that table if it’s for sale. Great job bro! wish you all the best and keep safe…
This piece is just so clean. Great job.
That table turned out beautiful and I can't wait to try something like that.
Man, I totally love you videos, great looking table, love the honesty and the “what I’d do differently” moments. Great work keep it up :) so happy to see your channel growing
Thanks Tyson! These videos take a tons of work, but messages like these keep me going, really appreciate it man! Editing a new one right now
The video quality on this is awesome, thanks a ton for the amount of detail you gave without dragging anything on!
A gorgeous, stylish and sleek design, perfect for contemporary living - love it!
Nice work sir, you got my sub now.
One particular thing i noted and appreciated is your disclosure of errors and how to correct or avoid them. Thank you for taking the time to record, edit and post this project.
Now to check out more of your channel 👍

Nice work! I will going to try this one. Thank you for sharing!!🙏
Great video man 👌 loved the finished piece, gave me some good inspiration
Great looking table, and I reall appreciate th esteo by step explanation. My only suggestoin would be to vary the wood layout, mix the oak and the walnut to give more color contrast. Great channel!
Glad I found your channel. A tip, end to end when applying any finish. Less lightly to have run over.
Definitely one of the most beautiful coffee table I've ever seen. Great job!
Damn Caleb, thank you so much man!
Your table turned out beautiful!!
Great video - I didn't even realize how long it was until it was over! Will be revisiting to try some of your tips with a project coming up, although I need a bit more practice before I can rationalize such a nice workspace for myself! 😂 Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
Thanks for this! Subscribed! Great channel man. Hoping to see more woodwork vids from you.
Awesome build. I’m not quite ready for a project this size but I’d love to try a smaller side table. Thanks for the in-depth walkthrough!
Fairplay man that is beautiful piece of furniture lots of inspiration as well i’ve actually started put together some plans for a pair of lamps with a very similar design
I really appreciate you sharing your mistakes along the way and the learning with us. Keep up the good work bro.
LOVE that table!!!
Just discovered your channel. The table turned out fantastically. Recently done a project with a honeycomb pattern in the table using a router filled the voids with crushed glass then epoxy... it was an education to say the least and no where near as slick as yours looks👏🏼👏🏼
Awesome table! I love your videos!
Beautiful table
Your channel is the only one that I hit the like button before I even watch the video! I am NEVER disappointed and have never taken my “like” back! Keep up the great work! Always anxious to see the next video. Keep safe!

Thanks for watching man! If it weren't for the positive feedback from people like you I'm not sure I'd still be making them. It means a lot to me.
Thanks for the great video Zac! As a suggestion, it would have been really great to see some nice B-Roll of the finished piece of work :)
looks really great! kudos to you!
Amazing Table and thanks for your Build
You're very welcome, thanks for watching!
Love it, next time when you pour epoxy after 20 mins come back and look to see if you have bubbles if you do use a heat gun, small torch or blow dryer if u choose to use torch only torch for 2 or 3 seconds bubbles will pop the heat pops bubbles for the next 3 hours you need to keep checking for bubbles.
Well done! Keep up the good work, I really loved the design!
Such a gorgeous table, also a beautifully shot and explained video! Subscribed!! Some tips for spraying. Keep the nozzle of your gun at 90* to what you are spraying, pull the trigger while you are off to the side of your project and move in a consistent motion and distance past your project. Release the trigger once you have passed your project. Try to avoid the misting or sweeping L R motion while over the project, this will help reduce heavy spots and hazing in your finish. Also check the Product data page for your product, not all of them need to be thinned to spray, some actually advise against it.
Hey Brandon, really appreciate this info, thanks man! Will definitely keep that in mind next time!
Thanks for sharing your experience 👌 Great Work 💪
Absolutely sick! Love the walnut maple combo.
Very nice job!! I have seen some of your videos and they are awesome!!! Thanks for sharing your work!

Great video. Love the layout of your shop as well.
Beautiful job.👍🏼
Love the design. You could do this style with a 4 different types of wood and different thicknesses.
This shows very well, that if you throw enough money at woodworking machines... everyone can do it! Not to forget the workshop that look so pristine, I wonder no one lives in there.

Very nice build. Well done sir.
Awesome build, Zac! I know the focus of this vid is your table, but damn, your camera work for those finishing shots are fire!
Haha thanks so much man! That's the nice thing about wood working, it's often so repetitive you have a lot of opportunities to grab different angles and try out different shots.
I not a epoxy table fan but I think your video was Awesome!! The table looks Awesome as well.
Soo good to see you doing more epoxy work🤩🤩 the table turned out suuper awsome! And the legs just works soo god with the design!❤ super awsome video as always👏👏 i couldnt notice that big square steel frame with in the background with small pieces in it?😮😮
Thanks dude! I really appreciate it man! This project was a lot of fun to make, even if it was a bit scary.
And good eye! That big steel frame is actually a project my dad is working on. He wants to make a big screen for the front of his drive way that will cover his garbage bins and stuff like that. It's pretty cool looking huh!
