i will enjoy this. Doing the same thing with no help with it at all. sponsors please me out and send me some stuff for my 1995 LS swapping Buick Roadmaster Wagon. i am just a hardworking guy with a big wagon dream
Dream big my friend and good luck with your project!
Note that it took me two years to put this project together. Cheers!
Dude. You don't know how amazing this is for the Roadmaster community! Or maybe you do! I have been wanting to do this so long to my 94. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Thanks for the kind words. Best of luck with your swap as well.
This is an awesome project! Very excited for the series. My brother and did a cam swap in a 1996 and did 2 Power Tours in our RMW.
Awesome, man. That's kinda the dream!
Just from those first few seconds, I see a guy from Point Break who's a gear head and a loving dad... subscribed... just don't tell her you mooned the camera.
Being a tbi car, they all had mechanical fans, it was only when they went to the lt1 that the mechanical fan was part of the tow pack. Love the swap though, good luck!
Thanks, man! I do have a tow-pack, per the RPO codes, but thanks for the correction.
Pure awesomeness! Nice of the manufactures to step up with products/discounts. A number of us in the GM B body community are contemplating similar mods and will surely be using this series as a reference.
Amazing project bro
Oh yeah!!!!! So excited to watch this series! LS swapping my 91’ is on my bucket list
Thanks!
Hoping everything is ok in your world! Enjoyed watching this process so far and dream of when I’m able to have one.
So glad this exists. I want to snag a rm wagon, make it look like an impala ss (of course lowered, 20s, etc) and swap in either an ls and t56 or a 3.8 Buick turbo v6 and auto. .
Good luck with your project! B-Bodies really wake up with more power.
Subbed and learning about this Dax LS Engine swap. It is so awesome that you have all those sponsors with all the mods they gave you but your True Inspiration is coming from your Daughter. I subbed to watch the swap but now I look forward to your daughter stealing your spotlight as we go through this build. An Awesome Team to pull this one off. The Parts list is the best of the best and I'm looking forward to seeing what you can get this Beast to do. Can you add a post to the build down in the Info Box with the listed parts so your Viewers can have an easily accessible list of parts used to print out that would be easier than watching the video and writing parts #'s down at the same time. Thank You and going on to Part 2 of this Wagon Build. A Great Video for all of us Baby Boomers who grew up riding in Dad's Wagon.
Thanks for the kind words, Gerard. And, you're right, I'm very much second fiddle to my daughter :)
Full parts list is on PART 9 of the build (the price breakdown) where there is also a link to LS1TECH.com where you can look over (most) of the exact part numbers.
here is that parts list in article form -- ls1tech.com/articles/carb-legal-ls3-wagon-swap-part-9/
FYI, and just in case it's not clear from your POV, the build is essentially done -- there's a playlist on the channel with all of the videos. Cheers.
Great job! Great video quality! I think a Roadmaster would look really great lowered on the same body style impala SS five spokes from the factory.
A lot of Roadmasters & Caprice wagons run those and they look great!
I went with 18" wheels so I could get performance tires... 255/50-17s (the Impala rim OEM size) are hard to find now. So when I saw that Michelin made 255/45-18s, I looked for 18s.
All of that will be covered next week and thanks for the compliments.
Awesome I have a 94 Caprice wagon 😛 But no LS3 😭.
We love all the whales here!
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
subcrito.. vamos por ese LS que todo resulte bien
No hablo español, pero ¡gracias y bienvenidos!
I just bought the previous gen wagon. 1990. I’m wondering if I can do something similar. And should I put a stick in it? This video is excellent but is also freaking me out when I think of what it will cost me.
I sorta wish I had a stick, but also thought it might feel too truck-ish in a car with a bench seat.
As for the parts, there will be specifics choices to be made related to drivetrain and your vehicle, but for the most part, many of the GM B-Body goodies are from either the late 60s or 70s through 96.
It is very expensive, especially if you live someplace with restrictive emissions regulations.
Honestly, if the purple is right, it could work.
Whaaaaaaaaaaat!?
Put a Three Pedal conversion in that whale.
