- The Ministry of Roads and Highways through its major agencies: Ghana Highway Authority, Department of Urban Roads and Department of Feeder Road has initiated and is currently embarking upon various works on over HUNDRED THOUSAND (100,000km) of roads and bridges all over Ghana. This is in conformity with the declaration of 2020 as the "YEAR OF ROADS" by the president of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.

Please the contractors should think about the future. The roads are too small and no pedestrians crossing. Bus stop is very important and we should take note of that when taking any steps. Ghana is building future generations roads and buildings so we can't be using that old roads sign today
Culture of maintenance which is zero in Ghana should be learn and forever maintain. Imagine if we have good roads, good postal service and recently good internet connectivity, who will leave their hometown or village to travel to Accra? Back in the 60s when Ghana hard not grown in population and all these amenities were there in towns, nobody left their towns for Accra, I hope our leaders will see the wisdom in this and concentrate on developing the rural areas of Ghana to keep the bulk of our population in their own regions. I hope also with the coming of the sought to north railway line too, Ghana's development is gradually taking shape. God bless our homeland Ghana. Continuous maintenance should be monitored. There should be ahighway patrol teams monitoring all the roads to identify any safety problems...
We have abundance of flat land in the north which is ideal for mechanised farming and we still can't produce enough rice etc
The roads are too narrow and the gutters alongside looks scary

This is very partisan comment and lack objectivity. Nana Akuffu-Addo on the contrary has done a lot to date for Ghana development. Roads and new hospitals are been built throughout Ghana. So don't throw dust to Ghanaians eyes it won't work but backfire.

The word failure doesn't suggest someone did nothing. Anyone with sense knows no president in our history hasn't contributed to development in this country. They all contributed something. Roads and hospitals have been built by various leaders since nkrumah days. This isn't new. Besides to whom much is given much is expected. Akuffo addo is the most resourced prez in our history...he's the one who's received more money more than any prez in our history. So more is expected from him
@@albertosei8788 Those leaders who did nothing or very little not that they didn't have enough resources but rather mismanaged what they have. For instance, Atta-Mills /JDM MB administrations have the resources at their disposal but comparing value for money, the later administration has done more for Ghanaians in 4yrs than the other administration did in 8yrs plain and simple.

Why are the roads not tarred like the south? The Salaga- Tamale road is probably more than 4 decades still dusty road.

Constructors are not serious in thier work, that is my worries, because they have no feeling for the country, to my own opinion China is better eving thier foreigners but they do better than our own.
Is the road for bicycles or vichicle? If vichicle why construct such small roads? We always blame government but the individuals are very wicked.

I will keep asking this question until I get an answer or I will say the road minister is incompetent, where in this world do you see open gutter on the roadside?
You are not going to get any answer but what i can tell you is that you can do it to help your country as well if not then keep quiet we talk about everything but we don't do anything to help if the gutters is not close g to Ghana and find out and you will get the answer for it
21st century look at the road they're still doing and still doing railways one line the accident is too much across the country leaders think about the nation
Let appreciate what the government is doing for the nation and stop politicize it I think NDC was in power for 8 solid years why can't they construct the roads. The road in the southern part is fist class standard compared to northern region. Hmmmm. The over look down northern region them southern part. Allah there ooo
