@@BrokenBonesRBLX The tanker driver was killed. This happened back on (Edited to correct date) "Oct 4, 2014", a woman going the wrong way caused the crash and she fled the scene but was caught and arrested for it, and was sentenced to 4 years in prison.
@@Porouss Yeah, I meant 2017. lol. And I looked it up, and this show started in 2015 and it shows this video being Season 1 episode 2. so it aired in 2015. Edit: I found the original news report for this crash, It happened at around 2;30am, Oct 4, 2014.
I worked for an air gas company delivering Oxygen, Nitrogen, & Carbon Dioxide in tankers as well as mixed gases in cylinders loaded onto the back of open backed trucks. One of our tanker drivers passed away after having a heart attack & crashing his tanker off the side of a motorway. He passed away & the tanker burned up like the fuel truck, but he was able to get his tanker off the busy 6 lane road without any other vehicle being involved. Rest in peace to both of these men that lost their lives doing their every day jobs, but at the last minute, managing to focus on the safety of others, (the fuel truck driver managed to avoid the residential area on the other side of the petrol station) even though they lost their lives. 😢
Burning alive is terrifying. It's not instant, you know it's happening and feel it up to a certain point before your nerves go. I'm so sorry for the driver. May they rest in peace 🙏 Also, the foam in fire trucks contains PFAS, an environmental contaminant. It gets into water and everything. It's helpful for these fires but brutal.
You have shown this video so many times. Every time you show you it the description changes. That woman killed that man. I’m glad she got time in prison

I wonder if that medic got that thumb👍 thing form training or if he plays FALL OUT just saw that on the show too 👀👍😂 I'd say for this one no thumbs just get away
Glad to hear she decided to quit that stuff before it kills her! May she find and dedicate her life to the Lord. He will give her a peace and love she’s never had!
I’m my neighborhood about 15 years ago we had a fire to this strip mall!! When I say fire, I mean the WHOLE BUILDING, every store was up in flames!! It was about a the size of a football field (one story building) and, according to the news, it was a “5 alarm fire”!! So, here they call it a one alarm fire??
If this doesn’t make you cringe…I worked at a gas station/convenience store and I always kept my eyes on the customers doing dumb 💩 Like letting the car run while pumping gas or cig smokers pumping gas while lit up, etc… The fuel truck driver & I were really cool. I always watched him drop the fuel in the ground. I remember asking him if he feared his job and he said…EVERYDAY.
Not just that but the gas station too!!! At our gas station it would be 100x worse because we also have a huge hydrogen tank at the gas station If that goes up its bye bye
Firefighters don't wear their turnout gear at the station, they often put on their pants before jumping into the truck (but not always) but put the rest on on the way to location.
@bobbysoulus2212 YES I WAS AT THE LUNDRY DOING MY CLOTHES SO I MISSED SOME PARTS I WATCH VIDEOS WHILE I DO LUNDRY MAKE TIME PASS BY DOES THIS ANSWER YOUR QUESTION 😉😉
Why are they just standing around getting camera views instead of fighting the fire. I've seen how fire fighters actually respond and they are immediate not walking around pointing fingers all in the attempt to look busy.
How do you want to fight a fire like this with a gas station nearby? And it exploded, so if they were fighting the fire, most of them would be injured or dead.
I thought those tanker trailers were better sealed than that!!! it threw out quite alot for how minor of a collision it was... also headline is wrong!!! ...gas tanker hits sign at gas station. EDIT: they mention that another vehicle was involved but at the start you could clearly see NO other vehicles involved... tanker driver drove straight into that sign!!!
These guys acting like it's a game of chess! Fk the timer boys, get in there and do ya fkn job!!! Not one of these FF'S could HONESTLY say they did their job to the best of their ability. PFFFT
You realize that tanker was basically a bomb right? And water hoses wouldn't be able to do much of anything, so the only real option is to clear the area and evacuate people until more specialized equipment can get there
Too many Firefighters standing around too close to danger zone. I understand RIT & back up crews. I would hate to see these firefighters get burned or killed in a BLEVE. It has happened before & will happen again.

Great video. Can't believe you captured the entire scene.
That overdose/delirious situation was quite breathtaking, as well.
That fire is scary
A full fuel tanker on fire at a gas station under melted power lines.. A lot of stuff that went wrong all at once. RIP trucker.
This makes me very sad accents this bad when somebody lost their life , my hearts with his family . So sad .
This is always a worry, as these fuel tankers travel through small rural towns ..
This video was in the city of new Orleans not a small town but i see what you mean.
Us gas haulers deliver to Towns big and small how does your favorite station get fuel trucks do it
