Two corrections:
1. Apparently Bharatha stayed in Ayodhya till teenage and after his marriage he leaves to his maternal uncle's kingdom. But still the point stays that Dasharatha wouldnt know if Bharatha wants to take kingdom from Rama.
2. Rama gets out of chitrakootam because he thought the closeness to Ayodhya would distract him. But still has no reason to take Sita and Lakshmana into the dangerous path.

౧. భరతుడు బాల్యం అయోధ్య లోనే గడుస్తుంది, పెళ్లి తర్వాత మేనమామ ఇంటికి వెళ్తాడు. అయినా సరే దశరథుడికి తెలిసే అవకాశం లేదు, భరతుడికి రాముడిని తోసి రాజు అయ్యే ఉద్దేశం ఉందొ లేదొ.
౨. చిత్రకూటం దగ్గర ఉంటె అయోధ్య గుర్తొస్తుంది అని రాముడు దండకారణ్యం లోకి వెళ్తాడు, అయినా సరే శిక్ష లేని సీత ని లక్ష్మణుడిని అపాయకరమైన కారడవుల పాలు చెయ్యటం సరైన పని కాదు.
* అడవిలో 12 ఏళ్లు ఉన్నన్నాళ్లు వారికి పిల్లలు కలగలేదా ?
* రాక్షసులుగా (రావణుడు) బ్రాహ్మణలు కూడా ఉంటారా ?
1. Not having children for 12 years is not a problem. Ramayana is silent about this part but it is not unnatural. People can decide not to have kids when the situation is not good.
2. Ravana's father is brahmin.

@Sita Ram Prasad SE PTPG 117 I was concerned about the demand on SA's time. He is already spending huge time on collecting, researching and presenting literature from mythology, science, spiritualism etc. It hardly fetches him any income. Asking for more is not fair, I think.

About the purpose of this discussion you explained in the beginning- besides influencing the lives and value system of people for centuries, in the present social context it has become too serious and driving people dangerous. So it is not purely academic to ask people to go into Ramayanam and see the content for themselves.

దశరధుడు కౌసల్య, సుమిత్ర మరియు 347 మంది ని వివాహం చేసుకున్నా పిల్లలు పుట్టలేదు.
అప్పుడు యవ్వనం లో ఉన్న కైకమ్మ ని వివాహం చేసుకోవాలని అనుకున్నాడు. కానీ కేకేయరాజు (కైకమ్మ తండ్రి) నువ్వు ముసలివాడివి అని అడ్డగిస్తే, మీ అమ్మాయి వల్ల పిల్లాడు పుడితే, అతనికే నా తరవాత రాజుగా ప్రకటిస్తాను అని వరం ఇచ్చాడు.
రాక్షసులతో యుద్ధంలో తనప్రాణాలను కాపాడిన కైకమ్మ కు రెండు వరాలు ఇచ్చాడు దశరధుడు.
తరవాత పిల్లలు పుట్టారు.
ఇప్పుడు కౌసల్య కి పుట్టిన రాముడంటే అభిమానం పెరిగింది.
రామాయణం మొత్తం లో రామ, లక్ష్మణ, భరత, శత్రుజ్ఞులు ఒకే తల్లికి పుట్టిన బిడ్డలవలె ప్రేమగా ఉండేవాళ్ళు.
అందరూ కలిసి పెరిగారు (భరతుడు పెళ్ళైన తరవాత శత్రుజ్ఞుడితో తన మేనమామ/యుధాజిత్తు తో వాళ్ళ రాజ్యానికి వెళ్ళాడు)
రాముడి పక్కన లక్ష్మణుడు , అలాగే భరతుడి పక్కన శత్రుజ్ఞుడు ఎల్లప్పుడూ ఉండేవాళ్ళు.
కౌసల్య, సుమిత్ర, కైకేయి కూడా పిల్లల్ని అందరిని ఒక్కలాగే చూసుకున్నారు.
కైకమ్మ రాముడిని భరతుడి లా చూసింది (అందుకే రాముడి యువరాజు పట్టాభిషేకం అని మందర చెప్పిన తరువాత వెంటనే తన హారాన్ని బహూకరించింది)
పెళ్లైన తరువాత భరతుడి మేనమామ (కైకమ్మ అన్నగారు/యుధాజిత్తు) భరతుడిని కొంత కాలం పంపించమని దశరధుడిని కోరాడు. దశరధుడు ఒప్పుకున్నాడు. భరతుడితో శత్రుజ్ఞుడు కూడా వెళ్ళాడు.
దశరధుడికి రాజ్యవ్యామోహం లేదు. రామ వ్యామోహం తప్ప.
దశరధుడు పెద్దవాడైన రాముడికి పట్టాభిషేకం చెయ్యాలనుకున్నాడు.
దశరధుడు ఒక వేళ భరతుడికి చెప్తే రాజ్యం నాకు ఇవ్వండి అంటాడేమో అని భరతుడు లేనప్పుడు రాముడి యువరాజ పట్టాభిషేకం నిర్ణయించాడు (ఎవ్వరిని సంప్రదించలేదు)
తన రాజ్యం లో ప్రజల్ని, సేనాధిపతుల్ని, మంత్రులని, రాజగురువులని, ఒక్కొక్కరిగా కలసి తన నిర్ణయం చెప్పాడు... అందరు ఒప్పుకున్నారు.
కానీ దశరధుడు కైకమ్మ కి ఆ రోజు రాత్రి వరకు చెప్పలేదు. దీనిని సాకు గా చూపించి మందర కైకమ్మ ని ప్రేరేపించింది. దాంతో కైకమ్మ తనకి ఇవ్వాల్సిన రెండు వరాలు దశరధుడిని అడిగింది.
నిజం చెప్పాలంటే దశరధుడు తాను అటువంటి వరాలు ఏమి ఇవ్వలేదని అబద్దం చెప్పొచ్చు
కానీ ఇచ్చిన మాటకు (తనకు ఇష్టం లేకపోయినా) కట్టుపట్టాడు.

There are numerous versions of Ramayana, apparently about 300. In one of them, Ravana was Sita's father and did not like Rama's love marriage with Sita! As per Valmiki Ramayana, there is no Lakshman Rekha, and Hanuman was not considered God.

Already said that it is a weak and pathetic excuse. Rama could order Ayodhya people not to visit with armies so as to not disturb the tranquility of Chitrakoota.
@Satya Anveshi The author is not explicit about the reason. We can only infer. The previous sarga 116 explains more on the circumstances- rushis scared by Rama or threatened by rakshas and migrating from the forest.

రామ కి చాలా రాజ్య కాంక్ష ఉండేది. ఎపుడూ రాజ్యం గురించి ఆలోచిస్తూ ఉంటాడు. అడవి కు బయలు దేరడం మొదలు మొత్తం బట్టల మూట లక్ష్మణుడే మొస్తాడు. పనులు అన్నీ తమ్ముడే చేస్తాడు. అన్న ఏ పనీ చేయకుండా నడుస్తూ ఉంటాడు. ఒక చోట కి చేరుకున్నాక, వారు ఉండడానికి నివాసం అంతా లక్ష్మణుడే చేస్తాడు. మొత్తం settle అయ్యాక భరతుడు వస్తాడు చెప్పులేత్తుకొని. అతన్ని వెనక్కి పంపి, అక్కడి నుండి వెంటనే మకాం మార్చాలని నిర్ణయిస్తాడు. లక్ష్మనుని శ్రమకి ఏ మాత్రం విలువ లేదు. ఎక్కడికి పోయినా లక్ష్మణుడు అక్కడ ఉన్న లేళ్ళను, ఇతర మృగాలను చంపి వాని కార్జం ముక్కలు కాల్చి అన్నకు వదినకు పెడతాడు. కానీ రామ కు ఎవరైనా ఎదురైతే, అడవిలో బ్రతుకుతున్న, కష్టపడుతున్న, దుంపలు తింటున్న అని ఏడుస్తూ ఉంటాడు.

If you look from his paternal side, he is a Brahmin. If you look from his maternal side, he has the genes of Yakshas, Gandharvas and Rakshasas. Ravana was the son of a Brahmin father and a Yatudhana-Rakshasa (hybrid descendant of a Pishacha and a Rakshasa) mother. Though he was destined to be born with Rakshasa traits as stated by his father, he was a Half-Brahmin and a Half-Rakshasa. He was also well versed with Vedas and other scriptures. Though they don't officially call him a Brahmin in Uttara kanda, he was considered a Brahmin in Skanda Purana(3.1.47) by Maharshi Suta. He says that Ravana was biologically a Brahmin who happened to have Rakshasa traits. Suta also tells that Rama was affected with Brahma hatya pathaka(sin of killing a brahmin) as he killed Ravana and Kumbhakarna, and hence he installed a Shiva linga in Rameshwaram to get rid of the sin he committed. So going by the connection between Uttara kanda and Skanda Purana.. Ravana, Kumbhakarna, Surpanakha and Vibhishana were all Brahmins by birth.

I do not believe in Rama, but there is a reason he choosing Sugreeva over Vali. Though, It is common for keeping your deceased brother's wife with you, Vaali kept Sugreeva's wife against her wishes and Sugreeva's was still alive at that time. He is searching for his wife who was abducted and he can not side with a man, who abducted another's wife in his quest. Rama siding with Sugreeva should be a logical choice.
Still not convincing sir. While Rama was still alive, he tells Sita to go under the protection of his brother, or sugriva, or vibheeshana. If dharma says that a woman cannot be given to the husbands brother if the husband is alive, then Rama is the biggest adharmi here.

Ramayana in earlier days might have been a simple story of "Katte, Kotte, Teche" later, everyone added their paithyam to meet their goals. Just like Paul played with Jesus character.
I too agree with this. Some say (people like me i guess) that Valmiki was just a guy who compiled various stories all around and sewed up a grand story around the dasaratha jataka tales and made Rama the hero. But then he had to show women their place. He (or his later writers) had to elevate dynasty and dharma to such a level where women are disposable.
