    I just wanted to thank you for this amazing video! I am a single mum with two 10 years old kids, our boiler stopped working for couple of days, I tried to ask someone to come and have a look but I couldn’t afford! Last night, we had to cuddle up each other to keep warm! 🥺, I came home today thinking let’s look at CZcams how to fix a boiler! I followed your video and it started to work! Thx again! I know maybe loads of people know how to fix these things but so many like me don’t! Again thank you!

    This worked. There are instructions on the inside of the casing but due to brain damage they are hard to understand and follow. This video did it perfectly. Found the two taps beneath the boiler, turned them on, though cannot find the gauge, only a heating gave. No matter, it worked. Many, many thanks.;

    Please remember folks, if your boiler pressure is dropping on a regular basis (monthly) topping it up all the time will introduce oxygenated water into the system more than it is required. Only top up your boiler pressure a few times a year, if its more than that getting an engineer out could save you alot of money in the long haul.

    One of the valves doesn't close fully and lets a dribble of water through. Can i just leave the flexi pipe in place so when i want to top the pressure i can just turn the black levers to fill up ?
    If i was to replace the faulty valve, would i need to turn off the mains water and flow and return valves on the boiler ?

    Hi, we have same issue with Ariston boiler. Boiler not kick in when we turn hot water tap in kitchen. rarely we get hot water in kitchen once in blue moon even though bar pressure is between 1 and 2 around 1.6 . Upstairs boiler kicks in only in that case if you open hot water tap fully. no issues with central heating that work absolutely fine. Any suggestion ? we have asked our plumber he suggested it could be diverted valve or boiler issue.

    • @dereton33
      @dereton33  Před 2 lety

    Ok,
    I had a Biasi combi fitted (I know, a big mistake) to an old system and run 13
    radiators and have already had a new secondary heat exchanger fitted after only
    a few weeks. I've cleaned the original one with one shot cleaner. My TF1 filter
    was catching no end of rubbish and it came as no surprise that the heat
    exchanger was blocked (water running hot / cold repeatedly but C/H working
    perfectly). My problem is now after refilling the system so many times with
    oxygenated fresh water and using fernox F1, I don't know if there’s too much
    inhibiter within the system. Does it help measuring the PH of the c/h contents
    ? Can I put too much inhibiter in? I have now replaced every old radiators with
    new and hardly get anymore rubbish on the TF1 magnet. This morning after 12
    months the water is again hot/cold…..

    • @dereton33
      @dereton33  Před 7 lety

      You can measure the PH of the water in the system, but overdosing normally does not do any harm, if you think it may be heavily overdosed though, then the only option is to drain it all out and start again.
