Guys a legend, wife bled the radiator in our daughters room to much ie all the water out and she couldn’t re fill the boiler she tried this video to no prevail water in to the boiler had a cap on from institution 😂😂😂 bless her she was crying though she had buggerd the whole thing, credit to mark for saving the day

Very very helpful! I got one these in summer. When turn taps on sounds like aero plane upstairs and big clunk from ,?mains water? Not sure. So we can’t have heat on at night , noisy especially if it clicks on and off as temp changes. Got engineer to check it, said nothing wrong. So hmmm. Your video was helpful. Thankyou
Thank you that was very helpful, just had my new boiler fitted today, it’s much quieter then the old one! but already I have noticed a small problem, the water coming out my taps is a very weak flow, how could I resolve this?
I had a Logic combi when we moved in and the central heating temperature knob did nothing - As it happened there was a weather compensator installed which takes that control away and the radiator temps are set automatically by the system based on the outside temperature. This is important to note as some people may be unaware that their CH knob is doing nothing. Turns out it was a really crappy system because unless it was near zero outside the radiators were never hot enough to heat the house.
Thanks for the video. Someone was messing with the taps (cough) to try and sort the pressure out, which they did - but now there is no heating to the radiators. The hot water is working ok... any ideas? I've reset everything to how it looks on the end of your video...
I have the ideal logic 30 and the pre heat button on yours doesn’t say preheat. I have no idea if the pre heats on or off? Nothing showing in display either other than numbers
Hi, great video thank you. My heating engineer said for me to leave the temp on the heating full up in the winter !! When he installed the boiler he also gave us a boss wireless controller which we have no idea how to work, the engineer said just leave it on auto and forget about it. It doesn't seem to let us control the temperature as if one sets it to a certain degree the boiler should cut out and cut in again once the temp is reached but it seems to get hotter and hotter! Can you advise me if it's possible to fit a manual timer like the ones you simply push the buttons in that are in a circle around the outside? We are not Spring chickens and know nothing about the complexity of the body gadget we have now, very frustrating when all we want to do is put the boiler on a timer twice a day. Many thanks Andrew
My Logic ESP1 35 combi boiler doesnt have the pre heat button (the button is there but no writing under the button and nothing happens when you press the button). Also when my heating is on "e" it shows 25 degrees where as yours shows 60! Thats quite a big difference?
ideal logic combi ESP1 38 boiler . The heating keeps running downstairs and upstairs it goes on only if I increase the temperature on the thermostat. The thermostat downstairs I set it up all hours and day’s to 18 degrees- even if I have set the temperature downstairs to minimum the heating still runs generating high temperature downstairs. I have switched the thermostat uit the one from upstairs and no change !? Any idea what’s going on ? I have no error display on the boiler
we had our boiler fitted 2 and a half years ago so I thought its time we had it serviced they servied it in march this year but since they servied it the pressure goes done to in a about a week the engineer came back checked th boiler and all raidiators but could not find any leaks could it be th relief valve or the exspansion chamber thet is causing the pressure to drop there is no sign of leaks anywere I have checked quite aa few time I evening took floor board up on the landing as I had some work done some months ago all dry any ideas please
Hi I've got up this morning no radiators on or hot water. I've gone to the boiler to top the water pressure up as I know how to do this. My house is a council house,and council don't like leaving the loop fixed in place . I had the same issue at Xmas and had to call them out as when I connected the loop on water was coming out of the 1st pipe with black and blue taps. But water was dripping from the blue tap. Anyway the council came out and he said there wasn't a washer in it so he put one in. I asked him if he could leave the loop connected up which he did. So I've gone to try and fill the water pressure this morn and it's dripping a bit again. But it sounds like the water coming through but struggling if that makes sense. I've got the pressure to 1 bar and turned the blue taps off. I will keep my eye it and if it drops again will have to contact the council to come and have a look at it.
Just moved into a persimmon flat the boiler seems to be constantly turn on and off it is very noisey not happy with the costant noise it is anew build ground floor 2 bed flat open plan living area and kitchen

Do you know why the boiler keep showing blead radiators or contact the installer as the radiators have no air, expansion vessel has been replaced with a new one. When we try to reset, start up but every day many times we have to reset. It's been a real pain. Thanks in advance
What could it be when preheat does not come on after switching preheat on. I have older Logic 30 boiler with a dial for turning preheat on and off and no display.

I have this problem too, I bleed the radiators, until water started coming out, this reduced the bar down to 1, but what is the correct psi is anyone's guess

@@DaDdy79462i contacted the boiler installer and explained that after setting the initial pressure to the correct 1.5 bar, the pressure rose to 2.5 bar when operating. I was told this was okay so I haven't taken any further action. I hope this helps.
Hello, at exactly 14:57 there's a side panel underneath the boiler which has 2 buttons, mine is displaying red led, I cant find any information on the manual regarding this, could you please share any knowledge you might have on it?

Hi flame symbol goes off after reaching the setting temperature, then temperature drops around 11 degrees, then flame symbol comeback again. Do you think there is a problem with the boiler for the flaming symbol going off and on 🔥 again, or is it normal. Thank you
@@lisawear5134 good morning unfortunately I never did find the preheat button but after a bit of a research I found it is better off than on as water is cheaper than gas. Hope this helps you 😂

When I switch my hot water tap on for 20 seconds I can see the temperature go up on the display but when I turn the tap off the display goes back to normal but the boiler stays on for several minutes. Pre Heat is Off. The room thermostat is also in stand by mode so it is not demanding heat for the radiators. Anyone suggest what is going on ? It seems to me it is wasting gas every time I turn the tap on. Hot water is set to 50 degrees on the boiler.
@@sniikii3802 Gas fitters are coming round in a couple of weeks to look at it. They fitted the boiler so they will have to fix it. I will look to post the solution when they tell me what is going on and how they will fix it.
For winter mode (Tap+Radiator) using a thermostat (Honeywell T3H700RF0069) makes the little receiver box click to say it's acknowledging the temperature setting. But the boiler never turns off it's permanently on like it's ignoring the thermostats request for a specific temperature. Could this be a wiring issue? I've reset and re-synced the receiver and the thermostat after a power down (Including the reset from a previous video) but to no avail.

If it’s on Eco it keeps kicking in using electric I’ve just realised that so put dial just before eco and it’s not short cycling now

I have the exact same boiler but my pressure gauge is between 3 and 4 it's really really high. I don't know how to lower it and L2 keeps coming on!??
