Hi Mark, great video - thanks. I also bougt an ecoTec Plus a few weeks ago and when testing some things i put it into summer mode by pressing the heater button 3 seconds. My problem is that i use a Tado smart controller on the eBus instead of a Vaillant controller - Tado can not end the summer mode - will resetting the boiler to factory settings and configure it new based on the diagnostic infos end the summer mode on the boiler? And is there any risk when resetting to factory settings?

Great, calm, complete explanation. Difficult to find this info elsewhere. I have an EcoTec Plus VCW 36 without boiler (= without reservoir). You mention a lot of times "boiler" in the video. Do you mean the video is only applicable for a model with boiler (= reservoir) ?

My Logic ESP1 35 combi boiler doesnt have the pre heat button (the button is there but no writing under the button and nothing happens when you press the button). Also when my heating is on "e" it shows 25 degrees where as yours shows 60! Thats quite a big difference?

Great video a bit long winded but I would rather that than rush a job especially anything to do with central heating. Keep up the good work that you’re doing I am a DIY and cannot afford to keep calling out engineers to do jobs like this as I am also an OAP and have lots of time on my hands, so I would always have a go at anything first myself after watching a video just like thiis. Keep up the good work and thank you.

Hi, Mark Thanks for the info. I have a question. I have Vaillant Ecotec Plus system boiler plus unvented cylinder. When the boiler is on, the radiator is working but there is no hot water. I have tried the DHW (domestic hot water) setting on and off seperately, but still no hot water. Wondering what go wrong, thanks

And how to supplement the Vaillant ecoTEC plus model VUI 26CS/1-5 ?

Hi Mark. Can I ask. Does a boiler fit it in an apartment building on the fourth floor half to have a condensate pipe as well as the flue. A plumber has just told me he hast to run a condensate pipe down the outside of the building four stories high. I see other buildings that only have the flue.

I've just had one of these installed and it's brilliant and the guy installed it all with no bother. The boiler modulates right down and gets the place nice and warm at a lower temperature. The app is useful and you can adjust the heating curve quite easily to reflect the conditions in your property. This boiler replaced a sixteen year old ecotec plus 831 which had a minimum load of 9kw and obviously it cycled a lot. Initially I wanted an ecotec pro, but after it was all explained to me I opted to go for the latest technology.

Hi Mark, I am wanting to change Bathroom radiator for a chrome towel radiator, so i want to cut the pipe under floorboard to connect chrome pipes to the rad, can i let the pressure out of the bleed valve like you did here for it to work or do i need to drain the boiler?

Hell the heating is not working using the thermostat or app can I turn the heating on and off from the boiler manually?
