The video game version's Mr. Negative was less confusing
Liked that version more since he was more relatable
Facts. When you left his office as Peter and heard "Hello Peter." your spine just tingled. I liked his character and hope we see his grief of aunt may later, because he did care for May and Peter(just became more evil later on)

Yeah this is why Insomniac's Li/Mr. Negative is miles better. I've read his origin so many times and even having it explained to me in video form, this shit is still confusing.
I don't see the confusion. It's literally just a seemingly "tragic" backstory with a twist of stolen identity.
I feel like it's actually really simple. It's just that this video lays it out in a way that tries to reveal the origin to you, like a story. Which makes it REALLY confusing.

I really love Mister Negative, i will admit the game introduced me to him, and i'm happy about it. I really love the idea of Li and Negative being seperate entities, it's just so cool and interesting, especially since i love both sides to him.
That's funny you say he got his powers similar to Cloak and Dagger, it always reminded me of them.
I love Mr. Negative's design. I wish we saw more of him, honestly. Didn't even know he existed until Spiderman PS4.

Im glad someone did a proper good explanation about Mr Negative. My interest in him got big after playing Insomniacs Spider-man and really wanted to know more of him. But Mr N was created in a time were the authors tried to come up something cool and complicated, but still, a simple story is better than most other stories.

It's in there. It's just modified. It basically looks like if Spider-Man had the Mr. Negative power. I personally like that design over the comic version to be honest.
I'm pretty sure that's the negative zone suit. Spiderman goes their in one issue and his suit changes colors before getting the dusk costume in the identity crisis saga. Though honestly I never understood why it seems to be unlockable in every spiderman game since the sequel on PS1. God I wish they'd give us a little back story paragraph to these costumes.

Well, his primary powers are super strength, a corrupting touch, and the ability to charge weapons with Darkforce energy.
His corruption can make people serve him but it does have limits. While it turned Spider-Man evil for a time, he was able to break free of his control before he really hurt anybody. Not only that, but The Hood was able to resist it as well, so it doesn't work on everybody.
Whether or not it would work on someone like The Hulk, I can't be sure.

Yeah, not only does the touch turn people evil, but makes them subservient to him, even if they are already evil.
Darkforce is energy from the Darkforce dimension. Heroes and villains with powers involving darkness are often connected to this dimension in some way. For example, Cloak from Cloak and Dagger is able to pull people into the Darkforce Dimension, and he can travel through it to teleport.

I haven't seen that part of the PS4 game yet but it sounds like they changed his origin story somewhat from what it was in the comics.
Nyangirl 1254 The Spider-Man PS4 game puts its own spin on his backstory. They wanted the game to be separate from the movie’s and the comic’s but still have details from both.
He also doesn't have the split personality thing in the PS4 game

Well I was born on the 13th of November 1999….
Kind of feel like Mister Negative is the marvel equivalent to Two Face. A tragic story of what was once a good man turned bad, due to the existence of a dark personality; both have a bit of a Yin Yang/ Dark Light theme going on, and both have gang connections.
Though Mister Negative does make up for the one problem I have always had with Two Face, that being outside of having a split personality, Harvey Dent is a pretty average guy. Sure Two Face is decently smart, but it doesn't really stand out to the likes of Mister Freeze, The Riddler or even the Joker. Mister Negative on the other hand has more of a bite with legitimately threatening powers, alongside being a gang leader.
