A character named The Hood who is ACTUALLY from the hood...I love it.
I give this guy his respect. He obtained absolute power multiple times. Especially when he had the infinity gauntlet with some of the stones.
Daredevil getting washed by electro just shows how much of a goat Spider-Man really is
Daredevil is just a regular dude, he has some special abilities, it hard to count them as superpowers. He's more like Batman or Moonknight.
Heroes get beat by villains all the time. Electro has beaten Spider-Man multiple times. Usually the hero catches a beating and then comes back and wins later in the issue. Also this was a retcon the created as part of the Hood's creation which might not have ever actually happened in the comics.

Damn, I have been avoiding this character in teen years. The reason was that a villain named "The Hood" sounded to cringy and silly. Why would I waste my time on him, when I got Doctor Doom, Magneto, Dormammu, Green Goblin and other cool guys.
This thing that he was connectec to Dormammu blew my mind away. Also, his backstory was very good and I enjoyed this video through.

Yay!! Such an underrates Villian/Anti-hero. I very much enjoyed reading a few of The Hood comics. He makes for an interesting character, and reluctant leader of street level criminals.
I hadn't read his original miniseries before researching for this. Having mostly seen him in New Avengers, I didn't expect him to start almost morally grey. He was still a bad guy, but he might have redeemed himself if not for the evil influence of the cloak. Definitely more nuanced than I thought.
The Hood is one of the better characters Marvel created over the last 20 years.

Tbh that's what most people would do in his situation, specially low level crooks like him. All he knew to do was to be a criminal and all he had to really care about was his wife and daughter. If he didn't even have a wife, he would most likely just be doing what Nisanti wanted and killing anyone the entity deemed a target, without holding back, which would basically turn him into Moon Knight lol.
It kept him in the picture. As soon as he got dreams bigger than he was, he lost. Parker knew exactly what his limits were. Dormamu didn't.

I IMAGINE 4 ALTERNATE VERSIONS OF (PARKER ROBBINS) WHO NEVER BECAME VILLAINS & A STORY:
I imagine the possibility that there might be four different dimensional realms, and in each one of them has an alternate version of (Parker Robbins) who never became a villain, and to add what I imagine is each one became certain types of heroes.
Now I imagine in one out of the four different realms, the backstory about a (PARKER ROBBINS) is somewhat the same, but the difference is that he never accidentally shot a cop in the neck, instead of that happening, I imagine he accidentally shot the cop in the shoulder, and not only that he felt genuinely guilty for accidentally shooting the cop in the shoulder, and to add it is his father who needs healing help instead of his mother.
To add I imagine that this particular version of (PARKER ROBBINS) he thought about turning himself in for what he had done, and I imagine for a certain period of time he decided to quit being a thief, that is until he ran into more money problems, then I imagine once he realized that a good honest job doesn’t pay enough, and then he had decided to become a thief again.
Plus to add I imagine something unexpected happened, it’s that PARKER came across a weird looking underground place with symbols around, and two cloaks one was on a terrifying looking creature, and the other was on a very odd looking, that was a very kindhearted unknown type of animal; I imagine that he was very curious about the animal, wondered what is was, what it was doing there, and why was it wearing a cloak on it.
Now before I continue you must know I imagine that the two cloaks, each one has a different color to them, one is red that is being worn by the terrifying creature, and the second cloak is Dark-Blue it is the one being worn by the odd looking kind animal.
To add I imagine that (PARKER ROBBINS) thinks it over for a while, weather or not he should take the risk trying to free the odd looking animal, and get that mysterious looking cloak off the animal as well, and I imagine then he decides that he will risk his safety trying to free the animal, and to add very carefully get the cloak off of the odd looking animal.
I also imagine that after (Parker) had figured out a way to free the locked up animal, then later he successfully freed the odd looking animal, and by surprise this animal mentally communicated with him in human language, and what the animal said was thank you, and asked (Parker) what’s his name, and to add what caused him to end up in this place to discover him, and the creature who have been trapped in here for months.
Now I imagine that for a few minutes PARKER was in shock, do to what the odd looking animal was able to do, and I imagine after (Parker) was able to snap of it, he then told the animal his name is PARKER ROBBINS, and he was on the run for stealing some items a few days before, and tonight he heard a rumor about a place that was some very valuable stuff in a mysterious underground place.
To add he was having money problems, which is what had driven me to stealing, since good honest jobs I have tried don’t pay enough, my father needs the best healing possible, but the best ways for healing him is very expensive, and not only I accidentally shot a cop that is haunting me, even though the cop didn’t die, I still feel guilty for what I had done, and so that is another reason why I am on the run.
In addition I imagine that the odd looking animal responds mentally to say to (Parker) now I understand who you are, what has happened to you, and how you ended up in such a situation, and to add how to came upon this underground place we are at in.
Now I imagine that the odd looking animal then reveals to PARKER, what was going on in this underground place, why there are strange looking symbols almost everywhere, and why he & the terrifying creature both are wearing cloaks; The odd looking animal tells him that individuals who knew dark magic, and enchanted alchemists were all working together to try to create their own types of items that would then be used in certain ways.
The individuals who did Dark Magic they were trying to create an type of clothing that could either capture a powerful evil being, and force it to work for them as their slave, or trying to create a evil magical item that would hopefully be able to collect allot of the evil being’s powers, and then use the time for their own purposes.
Now when it comes to the enchanted alchemists, they were trying to create something that would be beneficial for almost everyone to use, but only for those individuals who are worthy of using it, and they were successful with creating their first useful item, but then the project that the Dark Magic doers were working on went out of control, and the terrifying creature had killed almost all of them except one which is the child of one of them.
In addition the child was a little girl she ran away right after when she came in to find out why her mother didn’t come out side to get here, and she was in horrible shock when she saw what had happened to her mother, and to add what happened to her mother’s work friends.
The animal says to (Parker Robbins) that the little girl needs comfort, and she needs help, I can’t help her myself, and to add I must say this I can not stand remaining in this place any longer; I must go find a trustworthy person who can help me find a great safe place I can live at, and by the way here is my cloak I have discovered this past two months that this cloak has amazing magic powers to it, please use it wisely, that is if you are going to use it, and be careful who you reveal your secrets after you leave this place.
I imagine that (Parker Robbins) asks the odd looking animal what are you, and what is your name; I imagine that animal responds that I am a combination of certain types of extinct animals so I don’t know what I am, and the name given to me by four genuinely good individuals is BEN, those individuals cared more about my safety, and my health much unlike what the others were thinking about they wanted to become famous in the process of helping people.
To add I imagine that PARKER then thinks for a while what he should do now, and he decides to try to find the little girl, and try to help her, but if while traveling for a while she develops a bond with him, and then he would figure out some way to adopt her so that way she doesn’t have to go through the adoption system.
In addition I imagine that (Parker Robbins) finds out from the little girl, that is once she decided to talk to him, that her name is ANNA, ANNA MAY THORN, and my mother was into working on dangerous types of forbidden magic, and so were her friends, along with her work mates.
Plus to add I imagine that ANNA says to (Parker) I can sense you are a good person, who has made allot bad mistakes, but you did them for good purposes, and you feel strongly guilty for an accident that happened that hurt another person, and there for for all those reasons that is why I am talking to you, and I hope that we might be able to remain really good like this, and to add I hope I might be able to be your friend, and hopefully part of your family.
“Now want you to know I imagine that this particular (PARKER ROBBINS) is from the dimensional realm of EARTH-28, and I imagine that his mother died of an illness when he had turned to age:18, and so since then he has been trying to take care of himself, and to add trying his best to try to help his dad with his condition.”

I think the hood has a lot of potential as a grey character not totally bad but with his own code i wanna see a story where he attempts to resurrect white Fang's husband or go back in time to that event where he acted rashly attemting to alter his actions
At first, ngl... I thought he was a Rob Liefeld or Todd McFarlane character from the 90s. Look at him, he's literally just a dude with a hooded cape and 2 guns. That's one of the biggest 90s comics stereotypes lol.
It's actually surprising to see how much of a history does Hood have as a Marvel character, specially as a villain. Most would take at least 3 decades to have that many stories, and this isn't even a C-Tier villain like Hammerhead or Silver Sable, and even they don't have that many stories to be told.
I found it interesting how much Hood has to do with Jason Macendale, AKA Demogoblin, and yet there's no story yet with at least one mention about their connection. I'd love to see a story putting the 2 against each other, with Nisanti judging who's the better host.
One thing got me confused though. Why exactly does Hood get random powers such as invisibility, flight and lightning? Almost felt like he turned into Shazam lol.

Well it would go back to how things were before, him going out doing crimes while others threatened his family, so at some point it was bound for his family to get away from him. There's no future for a family under that lifestyle.
The Hood is straight up my favorite Marvel Villain, his character is just so fun to read about.

This marvel character ls last name is robins and he became a villain and anti hero name the hood and used guns while wearing a red hood. Dc has a character that was batman's Robin who became a gun wielding anti hero/ villain named red hood that wears a red hood and/or red mask

Back when Netflix had The Defenders I was hoping if they got a Season 2, The Hood would've been the main villain.

The only appearance that The Hood made was in the Marvel's Future Avengers anime series and he will be making his live action debut in the MCU Disney Plus series IronHeart as the villain... BTW could you do THE HISTORY/ORIGIN OF TMNT UNIVERSE with the characters and villains please.... They do have rich history in Mirage, Archie, IDW comic books and other media plus the turles have a large rouge gallery of villains!!!

Looks like I'm going to be a very rich man I created a character called the hood back in the early 80s he basically had the powers of Medusa he could turn anyone he looked at to stone or anything he looked at to stone he used a hood and Cape to Shadow his face so he didn't turn everything to Stone all the time and if marvel comics can sue DC comics over the name Captain marvel and win even though the dc 1 was around long before the one marvel had I should be able to sue marvel over the name the hood and yes it is registered

Seriously luke cage even bothering count neferia is a joke. The count was a team buster in his day.
