enjoyed the video, hope you sort the starter motor. the Morini is a great little bike and worth saving albeit a little scruffy and at least will be used .

I hope to get the starter sorted quite quickly so I can use it as a run around, its good enough to run not yet right for full restoration

The majority of Herring Gulls spend most of their time inland. Go to towns not far from the coast and you will find them. Picking through human waste is an easier life. Hope the rivet sorts the big windscreen wiper motor. They also seem to loose their gearbox oil over time.

I'm hoping to sort it quickly as I have hardly had chance to asses if it's a good bike or not. Watch this space.

Love you vlogs ....while you are on the starter motor ...just check the shoes that fling out and turn the motor ..I know some people had problems with them not gripping ....hopefully yours are fine because as you say they such a great bike to ride .

I had intended to make sure they were not contaminated in any way and asses there general condition. Thank you for your comments much appreciated.

Don't know about Seagulls but i think the bird population as a whole is in decline, let alone things like Butterflies & Bumblebees. You are slightly older than me but how many of these do you seed now compared to say when you were growing up? Would be interested in seeing as the riding season progresses some more v85tt riding content. i now live in the States & i think what holds the Guzzi back here (apart from predominately being cruiser country) is the lack of dealers & horror stories of waiting for parts to be shipped from Italy, but their still is a good following.

I was just surprised at the numbers being quoted I have not researched any of it, though it did make me look around. I am getting out on the bike now as spring seems to be on its way. Guzzi have always had parts and dealership issues I guess this is why they mainly appeal to owners who repair their bikes them selves. Good to hear from over the pond thank you.

The fact anything is still alive outside presently is a wonderous thing, although with us all now being rather dead inside, it hardly seems worth the effort to count birds or UFO's or even the amount of time's we've been fed duff information about anything. I'm far from being a nihilist, but seagulls fly about my house all day long after gorging themselves in the bins of the school opposite; and I live about as far from the sea as it's possible to get on this island... That's about as good as my seagul intel gets till I can throw a leg over in a couple of weeks old bean!
Is there a word for being 'inadvertently'facetious? I've always enjoyed Clarkson's takes the same way I used to enjoy Alex Jones' takes, but letting them craft public policy would be in no-ones interests. I'm more of a sceptic about so called experts than most but at some point you've just gotta beg the question; where the heck are people getting their 'information' or 'infotainment' these days about anything.. seagulls or eaguls?
I always used to feel like I was constantly on the edge of starter motor failure with my old Norge, but then again, was it just the fact these big 1200 lumps need a lot of cranking amps that made it feel that way, and the wiring loom goes around the houses a few times? The Stelvio still feels very crisp at 20k miles though touch wood.
Moto Morini is a curious bird though and interesting to hear your insights on the model and it's quirks. All the best getting it sorted :)

I have been admonished for calling them seagulls as apparently they are just Gulls and have various species within that category so what do I know. I kind of blow hot and about Jeremy Clarkson's mannerisms but he can be very amusing on occasion. I never doubted the Norge starter motor it always seemed fine but the Morini unit really is an odd device. I am looking forward to getting out on it.
