    350z/g35 one of the best cars ever made man. reliable, somewhat quick, SAFE, and good handling. Also the dialogue in the beginning of the clip is hilarious. Now excuse me as I buy some xxr wheels as my backups

      @@theuck5148 is350’s are boring as hell. No manuals at all, no performance equipment stock (lsd, lightweight suspension) and very limited options for forced induction (dozens of kits for the vq platform). Also IS’s are twice the price of g35’s at any given condition. Thats a female teacher’s car not a sports car

      Smoke and Mirrors. What about building 7 that collapsed on itself and wasn't even hit by airplanes? The people who say what is building 7 are the majority they were aiming to confuse. After the official report said a ruptured gas line from the collapse of the twins is what made building 7 collapse in on itself was all the evidence I needed. Especially, once you learn what was in building 7. Even more proof is I am having trouble finding the video, it has been removed from youtube. Someone just reuploaded it....czcams.com/video/HiuFpuOsksc/video.html

    If you break aggressively you could slide and loose control

  • @dagodpd
    @dagodpd Před 3 lety +3

    Can’t break aggressively at those speeds. that driver did the right thing only other thing he could’ve done is slowly veer to side with flat and go into sand under his “control” and use sand to slow him down. Tracker trailers have run off roads filled with sand in some states/countries.

    1. Airbag experience. In a word, instantaeous. 1 second after the accident you're thinking, "oh damn the airbag went off... this must've been bad." Now check yourself for injuries from the airbag. I got off easy, just some abrasion rash on my wrist from the airbag.
    2. That guy did those Cadillacs a favor. Those are the crappy XT4 econoboxes meant to sell suckers into the "Cadillac ownership dream."

    Blow out at highway speeds, I would keep the car straight, light breaking only, look for possible escape routes as the car slows down to more a controllable state.

  • @mxtt8170
    @mxtt8170 Před 2 lety

    I mean I can definitely say that it seems safe in an accident but when I had my G35, the traction definitely felt iffy whenever there was any amount of moisture. It was the same with older tires and brand new tires. Never had any real accidents in it but definitely hydroplaned more times than anyone would prefer lol

  • @ThatBustedVQ
    @ThatBustedVQ Před 3 lety +3

    Coasting is the right thing to do the prevent a uncontrollable slide or spin because of grip differences, gives you more control (at least that’s what I would think, idk)

    • @Chandon1
      @Chandon1 Před 2 lety

      Really? I remember awhile back I was watching a video in yt where the guy was driving in an Aston Martin on a windy mountainous backroad. He stated that it’s always a bad idea to coast because it’s easier to spin out or lose control especially in a situation where u need to make an immediate sudden reaction. He advised you should always have your brake or accelerator engaged to whatever degree, even lightly because when your coasting basically the way he described it the car’s traction and/or it’s other capabilities of staying grounded & on road are diminished because nothing is engaged.
      Now I always thought the same, that coasting especially on turns & such was the best way to avoid any sliding/swerving/loss of control. The way he explained it, made a lot of sense though. It’s always been on my mind when I drive since I saw that vid. I guess it also depends in the type of car you’re driving & it’s capabilities/restrictions & features. I’ll try to find the vid & link it.

      @@Chandon1 from my experience living in alaska driving my G35 all winter. I’ve lost control on black ice. It’s best to let off and counter steer. If you press the brakes you’ll just slide or in some cases create a pivot point and lose control. If you press the gas it’s like drifting you’ll kick the back end out more. I’ve lost control going around corners on ice and it’s the same thing. Let off and counter steer smoothly. Once I get a feel of traction I can get back on the gas slowly and keep driving

    Airbags: I slid my Stealth TT into a gaurd rail, deploying the driver side bag, and it brush burned both forearms and left an impression of my dog tags for about a week. It was pretty wild.

  • @paulkettner433
    @paulkettner433 Před 3 lety +1

    Brake until i feel it hit rim then coast and aggressively steer to put myself into a “controlled” slide (slight angle, not sideways, basically taking all the weight of the vehicle off the blown tire). Obviously most of this isn’t realistic idk. This is just ig the most ideal way to handle it in my mind. I’ve always been really good in fast paced, high pressure situations so I’d probably be clear headed enough to try this, I just don’t know if I have the skill to do it. But you never know🤷‍♂️ also the pentagon reference. Ik it sounds dumb but tbh it is the pentagon, so them not releasing footage does make sense to an extent. They don’t wanna show all the weaknesses of the building and shit ig

    It’s not a fun feeling. I flipped my 04 Nissan Maxima 6 times. After each rotation It landed on the roof(6 times) from about 6 feet in the air. I walked away from the scene, and the airbag didn’t activate..my shoulder and neck were sore for a month, I couldn’t move it. From holding the steering wheel so hard and tencing up while flipping. Scary af. Wouldn’t wish it on my worse enemy!

    Slowing down when going that fast takes a long time. Brakes don’t work the same as going 70mph. Slamming on the brakes probably not advised if front tire blows out. If you knew for sure it was the front tire you could engage the emergency brake to try to keep the car straight. Also lowered car like that may have scraped the ground with blown shredded tire. Not good. Lol

    A lot of variables would go into how I would react if that were to happen to me. I think putting it in neutral and white knuckling the steering wheel would be my knee-jerk response.
    I would brake if I were rapidly approaching other cars in front of me. But, that could upset the chassis and cause a spin out and/or rollover. Not sure.
    At a minimum, crap my pants and say a prayer.
