    Very well explained Brian! Definitely an amazing redesign of the new Tundra TRD Pro! Way more pickup than I would ever need but this should definitely appeal to many! I do like the cockpit red interior and the design on the seats is really good! I was definitely skeptical when they were first introduced! It’s still growing on me. Will have to go and watch the button tutorial as it just popped up as this was finishing playing. Well done Brian! Much respect genuinely always! Mark in Iowa.

      @brianruperti  Před rokem +2

      Mark it’s always so nice to see your comment! I look forward to them! Yes I agree at first I was skeptical but they’ve grown on me very much. Especially after off-roading in a 1794 and in a limited offroad a couple months ago, all 2022s, the drive and modern techn is a blast to use.
      The V8 has the raw, rugged rumble yet smoothness that will never be surpassed, but this new gen is definitely an upgrade by far.
      Cheers and much positive energy and respect sent to you always!

      I have had a hard time accepting this new gen. I have fed into the negative aspects of the truck. If I had a sh** ton of money I would buy one. Just to put it through the wringer and see how she does. Is it because we all want what we cant have?

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  Před rokem +3

      I have a lot of respect for you admitting you fell for the negativity. It happens to all of us. Bad news sells!!! I think this generation of Tundra is going to perform very well in terms of durability. I went off-roading in the 2022 1794 and I was blown away! Had water past the running boards and almost up to my emblem! They’re built well. Kaizen! 🙏🏼

    Glad I found your channel I love that Pro but I can’t afford it I recently bought a 2023 4X2 hybrid Limited Tundra (we don’t off-road and since we live in Houston didn’t feel a need for 4X4) absolutely love it zero issues so far great handling with plenty of power but still consistently giving me at least 21 mpg. Even my wife loves this truck and she’s not a truck girl. They put a lot of thoughts in redesigning this truck and did a good job but so many gen 3 haters lol. I wholeheartedly agree with all your assessments. Sub

You should check out the F-150 lightning that thing has like 20 outlets its ridiculous

    The only 2 gripes I have with this truck is that the v8 isn't at least an option and I dislike the digit gauges. I would like the traditional dials dor the TRD pro. Also you can have the dealership turn off the fake v8 sound

    I like the rumble I think it sounds pretty dope I don’t need v8 I had it on my 2020 Silverado high country traded that in for my new pro I get around 22mpg on my tundra….also do u hear like clunking or thumping noise when u go over bumps or on a bumpy road even when u go over railroad tracks…it almsojnd like an old car when your sway bar links /bushings blow out and makes that noise ….mine does all them since first day u hear it more when the rear window is down ….it’s going to the dealership on Aug 30 and there is another guy who owns an sr5 same issue…2 guys from Toyota are flying down to inspect our trucks ….so b4 i install the lift and rims I needs this fixed first ….let me know man if u did hear those noises from the rear thanks

    you can turn off the fake engine noise with some obd scan tools; it's buried several layers in the menu under settings/active noise control/uitilities/customize/others and toggle off "anc/esc"
    also; I think that fake engine noise is only in models with the JBL sound system

  • @connorrampage7817
    @connorrampage7817 Před rokem +1

    I don't understand why manufactures feel the need to push artificial sound
    through the speakers, if people that buy the truck for the sound it makes,
    there going to be on the gas all the time trying to get that sound, which will
    lower it's fuel economy. maybe I'm old-school, just doesn't make sense.

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  Před rokem +2

      I understand and agree. However there are people who buy the truck to do work and don’t care because they just want to get on it and have fun. The sound helps with the fun factor.
