i pray that Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary takes you under her mantle and brings you back to the Church
I thought I was the only one with a Rosary collection.
I really hope you come back to praying the rosary. They are beautiful! And may is the month of Mary and I'm certain she's watching over you. I pray the beauty of those rosaries draws your heart to praying the rosary and loving Our Lady and knowing you are loved and the Lord loves you! Amen
Thank you! 💕
Wow! I live in Oakland California. I remember that day of the earthquake. My husband lived very close to that bridge that collapsed. I also have a rosary collection. Wonderful collection.
It's like you read my mind! After a long work week finally ending at 5 pm, then errands, making a late dinner and a shower, I finally sat down to relax and was hoping you posted a video. I converted to Catholicism in my early 20s, and I have quite a few rosaries, but none from family since I wasn't raised Catholic. My favorite is a ladder rosary left to me by my late mother-in-law. it was a gift she received from her older sister, who wrote on the box "Stairway to Heaven". Thank you for sharing, I'd love to see more family history ❤
I'm so happy you enjoyed it!
I love family stories and collection's
Thank you for your rosary 📿
😎👍 i was brought up Catholic but now I'm 62 and gave up drinking and now Christian. Have a Great weekend.
Catholics are Christians. I am sure you know that, but I felt I needed to say it. GBY
Beautiful collection and family history. The item with the 2 photos that belonged to your great great uncle is a brown scapular. It's worn underneath the shirt
Interesting. Thanks! I'll have to look up why they did that. 🫣
Your rosarys are so beautiful
I came here from your Mothers channel. Your rosary collection is just beautiful and I really enjoyed hearing your stories and seeing each rosary. My grandparents came over here from Poland. So I do find the rosaries very interesting and the family history. I have a nun doll my Mother gave me she is in a case that has a space in it for keepsakes. There I keep my late father’s rosary and my late mother’s infinity bracelet Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you so much! Absolutely, rosaries really are interesting family history!
Hi Michelle!!!
That’s a beautiful collection you have!!!
Always cherish them as close as you can to your heart…
I’m a Christian but faith is and will always be faith and keeps us going!!
I love you my dear friend!! 🙏🌸🌸🌸
Your rosary collection is very nice Michele, they are beautiful.
I'd like to see more family stories and collections.
What a beautiful collection!! What a blessing and treasure to have such amazing keepsakes.
Hi sweet Michele my girl love you tyfs
Wow. 🙏🏾 that was incredibly satisfying too watch. God must have read my mind. The way you knew the history of each item. Your sooo lucky too have inherited these sacramentals. I love too pray the rosary, so its always interesting too see who knew too pray it since way back when. Thank you for that video that was Awesome. Loved the pictures.
I'm so touched to read that you enjoyed the video so much. I am definitely blessed to have these. 😍
@@MicheleEskelinits exactly what i was wondering about. Rosary heirlooms. My family put me and my brothers in catholic schools. While maintaining that they were not catholic. Its been tough staying in the faith. I always wished my parents prayed the rosary with us. Your very blessed. I have a amber rosary that i intend too leave too my son.
@@vjiggy81 That is wonderful that you are going to leave your rosary with your son. It's true, there are not very many people staying in the faith or saying rosaries anymore. There is an app called 'Amen' that has guided rosary readings.
Ok, i will check that out. Hopefully it easyier too focus. Yes i know! What a shame noone prays the rosary anymore. Such a great gift. What a shame. Trying too find a large group is not really easy. Maybe in lesser technological countries. Like ive been wanting too do a large rosary prayer but so far nothing over 75 people. 😞
Great video super cool total time capsule
Nice collect of Rosaries I need to start me a collection of something just don’t know what as of yet
I'm not catholic or religious but I've started collecting rosaries I love how beautiful they are I was so afraid to buy a rosary for the longest time because I didn't want come off as disrespectful but after visiting a catholic church today and getting the OK from a priest today I bought my first ❤
That's lovely. They really are beautiful. 😃
@@MicheleEskelin I just was really scared to get into Rosary collecting because one I'm not Catholic or Christian in fact I'm agnostic and I didn't want that to come off as disrespectful and was so worried about it it took me a solid two years of going back and forth in my head about it and I'm still worried about being disrespectful even though I have one already but then again that could be my anxiety talking
@@billyhouse1471 It's very considerate that you wanted to make sure you weren't being disrespectful. ♥️💕
@@MicheleEskelin the way she put is as long as I wasn't being blatantly disrespectful and destroying them and things like that she saw no issues it's really made me feel so much better about it ❤
@@billyhouse1471 God loves you so much , try to come to rosary groups in You Tube to pray your beautiful rosary , Jesus is waiting on you🙏🌹
you should check out the Society of St Pius X (SSPX), they are a Catholic group that is amazing! They were founded because of all the scandal and ridiculous things happening in the Catholic Church.
Hi Michelle, I really loved hearing your family background and how the rosaries go back. I love your rosary collection, you have Our Lady of Mount Caramel Scapular. I would enjoy hearing family background and your other collections
And I'd love more collection videos
That was a fascinating video. I enjoyed it so much. Loved seeing your families pictures, loved your family history.
Thank you so much!
Such a beautiful collection, Michele. I am Roman Catholic and we do have rosary beads from ourselves and those we have also inherited. I got my first rosary beads for my communion when I was a kid. But then, also for confirmation and also inherited from both sets of grandparents when they passed. Also, loved hearing about your family and the back story of your family and their rosary beads. Hugs and tfs ❤️
That's great that you have your family rosaries too. I have no idea where my rosary from communion went. 😲
hi michelle i have a 1 only antique rosary gave by my great grandmother its looks likes old
Hi Michele. You look so much like your Grandmother. Thank you for sharing. Beautiful. I am not Catholic. My ex gave me two. A plan plastic black one that was mixing the main part and a plastic glow in the dark for Chai. He kept saying she was a Catholic cat, but had no soul. Eyes rolled on that one. My friend Christine buys estate jewellery, jewellery from fb, thrift shops, auctions, etc. She has many rosaries she can sell you, if you are interested.
Your ex sounds like a jerk. Oh course baby Chai has a soul!
@@MicheleEskelin He was a narcissistic, gaslighting a×× hole.
That first one you showed after cross was mine. They had us get them when I received first communion in 2nd grade. We wore around neck with one on chest, the other on back. One of them was from The Vatican. Didn’t realize you have so many. Do you still collect them? Which one did Jeannie give you?
Yes, I still collect them. Jeannie gave me the silver one from one of the priest uncle's. Grandpa gave me Mama Mary's and his. Grandma Rosemary gave me hers. Ohh, the one with the pin was yours? Okay, good to know. I'm going to label them.
Do you think the one that was from Rome was from the Vatican? I think the cornflower blue one you bought for me when I was with you at a gift shop in Iowa.
@@BooksCauseInsomnia I bought one in Vatican so if there’s only one from Rome that’s it. Also, only Charles (Stephen) was a priest. Uncle Fred was a Professor at a University.
It’s our Lady of Mt Carmel not Carmichael
Hi I'm Indian I'm weak in English.
.How did you Protect Your Grandmothers And GreatGrandmothers Rosary these Years....These Rosary Didn't Have Any Damages How?!!
I keep them in a box up on a shelf. 😉
I don't think there were plastic beads in the early decades of the 20th century. Most rosaries were wood, bean, or glass.
In my experience many, if not most, Catholics (especially older people) were buried with their rosaries twined in their fingers. I hope I will be,but who knows the Rosary these days?
Your cloth squares are the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mt. CARMEL-of Dominican origin. Scapulars were worn around the neck. Many of us received a Brown Scapular along with a rosary and a prayer book at First Communion.
ok in 9:16 you showed your birthstone rosary you should repair it in workshop
I will repair it. 😉
@@MicheleEskelin if you can get any help to repair your rosary you must need help to Sister of Carmel they make rosary and repair them too 😉
I just discovered your video. I was raised protestant and my family and I are now Catholic. We have found so much beauty and peace in the church. We invite you back home.
Some beautiful rosaries you have there and you just proved how Catholics prayed with a rosary all their lives. Strangely today people need ugly paracord rosaries that they show off as indestructible. They pay a bomb for these ugly things and I don’t know if anyone ever uses them for prayer. Anyway, you have some lovely family treasures there, hope you keep praying with them.
Really? That's crazy. I haven't been a Catholic in about 20 years, so I didn't know abouts these paracord rosaries.
@@MicheleEskelin please start praying the rosary please you will love them more 🙏
Now say your rosary with devotion an look to Blessed Mother for help an guidance…..no hate intended, our world is in trouble💜📿🙏🏻
