OMG a rosary of salt -WANT ONE. I'm grateful that I have the rosaries of several family members now on the other side.
I really enjoyed your rosary bead show. It had a very calming effect on me and I love the rosary and rosary beads and especially glow in the dark or rhodochrosite or lipase or citrine or aquamarine which I believe is one of the most beautiful stones that one can create a rosary from. I also love finding rosaries on line that are vintage and some say belongs to a nun or such. I have a great respect for Holy objects and Relics and so forth. Thank you for your presentation it really warmed my heart indeed! May the Lord Jesus and his Blessed Mother always be with you and yours! Blessed Be
I loved looking at your rosaries, I'm not catholic but I love the saints and have a special place in my heart for Pope John Paul 2, I bought a book called pagan prayer beads, but have not made any yet. Thanks for showing your collection, I enjoyed that.
Oh my grandmother had glow in the dark ones too! Although she had many I enjoyed seeing these hanging on the bed post. 😊 They were mandatory on all of our bed post or near our beds. I saw your picture on insta and wondered how does she keep them from getting tangled?! 😂 Thank you for sharing! Love you!! 😘💕💕
Loved this video, your collection is amazing. I especially liked the salt rosary - I didn't know prayer beads could be made out of salt, presumably it withstands constant touching and handling. Also liked the jet beads your sister made for you. I'm half Italian, raised by lapsed Catholic atheist parents, became interested in Buddhism as an adult, have a number of malas which I recite frequently. I sometimes feel I couldn't live without recitation practises - certainly I'm a happier, more patient person for doing "japa", as the Hindus and Buddhists refer to them.
Totally love glow in the dark stuff too!!! I have a few rosaries that are glow in the dark too....love them!

Oh I just remembered I have a bracelet I got from a flea market when I was so young that has the Ten Commandments on each charm... I must pull it out and clean it up

What a beautiful collection, thank you for sharing it! By the way, regarding that last rosary (thrift store find, wooden beads), I don’t think that’s a crystal on the cross. I’m pretty sure it’s a little window you can look into and (usually) see the Lord’s Prayer. Or sometimes it’s the Hail Mary, Psalm 23, or a depiction of the Holy Mother’s appearance at Lourdes. Viewing it works best when you hold it up to the light. Blessed Be!

I have a rosary I call my spiritual “Flat Stanley” because I’ve had friends take it all over the world for me. It’s been to Russia, France, Portugal, The Camino, wherever there was a famous shrine or holy place.
BTW I love glow in the dark stuff too 💕

Lutherans, Episcopalians are well known to pray rosaries. But anyone can pray these beads... And I will tell you, if you pray the rosary every day for 6 months, it is a most powerful shamanic practice - the sound of the chanting replaces the rhythm of the drum. And that chanting takes you into altered consciousness, it is amazing.
