    I’m not service connected for my back when I fell asleep while driving on my way back to base I hit a pole and I flipped my car. And I also have a lot of back pains from what the doctors found in the VA called mild Arthritis and the doctors found that I have mild Scoliosis.

    Wow. I’ve done all of that without a Nexus statement so my VA appeal score should be 100% without a doubt.

    Love your info but you don't need a diagnosis for a secondary claim if the rating specialist is doing his job right but most of them don't they make you get a diagnosis when you don't need it by CFR - Example my Tinnitus was granted secondary to my tension headaches that exactly what i stated when i filed the claim plus thats what i told the c&p examiner - upper radiculopathy in both arms was secondary to my cervical spine/herniated/ bulging discs in my neck they had no diagnosis the rater did his job right but the other raters denied my secondary claims when the evidence was identical to the others ones that got granted plus i know a retired rater and a rater that works at the regional office that i submitted my claims to this rater looked at my claims and was shocked by what he read on my secondary claims rater told me he would have approved all ten of my remand claims with no problems plus my TDIU - rater told me you got raters hating on veterans especially when that retro pay exceeds certain amount like mine would have my figure would have been if done right over $700,000 - I'm still going to get all my pending claims have been diagnosed now the judges will decide them now decisions should be made by no later than Christmas time this year the fat lady will be singing loudly bro - great video as usual U on Point with facts !!!

    Going to submit for back pain. L1 and L2 compression injury while on duty w/med records to support. My private doctor has given me two statements that are summarized: "Has reviewed prior documentation of this veteran. degenerative disc disease & central canal stenosis consistent with known injury. In my medical,opinion thatn likely as not his current lumbar spinal condition is related to service in military" So, dod I need a DBQ or more descriptive info from from my doctor?

    Here’s my question - If I went to my PCM while on Active Duty and he “diagnosed” me with Plantar Fasciitis… but I was never seen by a specialist. Is that enough to submit a claim when I separate from AD. Or do they make you see a specialist for every claim, even if you were “diagnosed” by your PCM and it’s on your AD medical records???

    I think for lay evidence form. VA FORM 21-10210 is used for personal statement instead fo VA FORM 21-4138 already I think start beginning of this year 2023. I just submitted my claim using VA FORM 21-10210.

    I see this question and had it myself. 1. Diagnosis. Is the SCT on the problem list a diagnosis? Some say yes, some say no..
    What say you?

    • @vaclaimsacademy
      @vaclaimsacademy  Před rokem +1

      It’s technically not a diagnosis and when the VA is grumpy they will deny via technicality

    • @vaclaimsacademy

    I went to the VA for mental health issues, the psychiatrist said that he believes I have PTSD and depression. I was put on anti-depression pills. I don't think he ever used the word 'diagnosed'. Was I diagnosed? Do I need to acquire that paperwork before I file, or can I just refer to it?

    • @vaclaimsacademy

      It will be a viable option in the near future to really maximize claims, but as of right now it really does take someone who knows what they’re doing to editorialize the output.

    If I am currently deployed, and soon to redeploy and DeMob, how long after getting out of active duty, could I get a Dx without the need for a nexus letter? Is it true it is up to 180 days after discharge?

      Great question Gabriel, it is best to do a fully deprived BDD claim 180 days or less away from your ETS. There is no benefit to waiting until you are separated unless you were not properly prepared to file a fully developed claim ♟️
