    Great as always, Sam! I have a suggestion if you're interested in trying it out. When you get scored on, you always do a replay on the goals and what you could've done in the situation better, or the play that unfolded that prevented you from making the save. I would be interested in seeing replays on goals your team scores and see if you could analyze what happened and what the goalie could've done to prevent it. Obviously you would not be critiquing their play in a negative way, and it could give you more opportunities to show your viewers more perspectives on how the puck could have been stopped.

    Thanks for sharing your tips on how to mount (giggling) the GoPro. Great game/win. Tell the D to clean up the crease area. Need to stop guys from sweeping out in front and/or cutting through the middle. Force opposing players to make bad angle shots. Your forwards made a lot of good chance shots to pepper the goalie and tire him out. They can also benefit from having one guy come down the middle to pick up any rebounds.

    I second everything said in regards to mounting your GoPro on the glass behind the net. Also, if you do it with GoPro up, any time a puck/person hits the boards hard it can cause the GoPro to change position (usually lower than you want)

    on the first shot, you hit the puck, you could let her hit your bloker to lead the puck in the corner, instead you have your bloker forward and give a bad rebound. good game to your players and you too, it's not easy to stay focused in a game with not much action

  • @outlawhockeyleague9642

    Better and safer solution: Get the goose neck mount and the suction cup mount, use the pieces and combine them so you can attach the goose neck to the suction cup, this allows you to stick the suction cup on the other side of the glass (not on ice) with ability to position it however you want, and away from shots/damage. Just set it up and hit record before you get dressed and there is enough battery time to catch the whole game usually. Check my channel for examples. I also always have multiple cams/views setup, and use mic stands with Go Pro mic mount attachments, so I can place them in the top of the stands, bench or wherever, as the mic stands can be extended/elevated up past the glass if needed. I can then do multi angle highlight reels and full game multi view edits.

    How do you find goalss against average?

    • @ThePuckStopsHere
      @ThePuckStopsHere  Před 4 lety +1

      Goals divided by games = GAA.
      So in this season I have let in a total of 10 goals in 4 games which equals 2.5 goals a game.
      Save Percentage is: shots minus goals divided by shots.
      So if you let in 3 goals on 30 shots your SV% would be:
      30 - 3 = 27, then 27 / 30 = 0.900 SV%
      So far this season I have had 121 shots and I have let in 10 goals. So 121 - 10 = 111 / 121 = 0.917 SV%
      I hope that helps.
