A subtle exterior change that you didn’t mention is the shape of the charge port. The newer car has a more sharper tip at (looking like a triangle) while the older car has a flat bottom (like a flat bottom triangle or trapezium).

I remember, when I saw the new design that was leaked, I didn't like it, but after watching the review I've changed my mind. Maybe it was different and then got improved before the mass production, I don't know. :)
