What type of timing belts ? Wet any made of rubber including the oil drive ? Or are they chain driven ? What’s the warranty on the engine ? Important questions I think .
Hybrid engines has a chain. Belt for petrol engine for reduce emision and fuel economy.

Big Ford fan here in France, two Fiestas and a Focus in the family, but I was in one recently a recent model going West from Nice, sorry but the interior was I felt all grey and austere , I hope you have done something about it.... however the new styling I really like!

It's been only downhill for Ford since the last Focus RS marketing video chapters. I remember being super excited because Ford had the cool vibe.
The Americans have this Facelift 1 year ago which is called Ford Escape.

Damn this brand has truly lost it, this video is so cringe. Ford has always been my favourite brand, but am I glad I bought a brand new Mondeo in 2021 when they still had a decent line up.

more like facelift, and i hope proper mild hybrid AWD turbo petrol option 190+ HP (we don't all have flat roads to drive on), same driving dynamics and no CVT auto's this time. 👍

i think the Explorer is EV only, so like most large EV's, you'll likely need a HGV license to drive it due to the weight of batteries. 😂
Explorer is EV, KUGA offers PHEV
Kuga is phev and is 100% ford while explorer ev is 80% ford

I had my taste of the Powershift DCT... And I thought Nissan CVT gearboxes were the worst. It broke on my 2nd Gen Kuga after 50K miles, and zero F's given from Ford, although the car was under warranty. I am wondering how long will Ford CVTs last. The only reliable, zero maintenance and problem free are the e-CVT from Toyota, which are not exactly CVTs. and Hondamatic from Honda seconds the reliability.
Cvts on Corolla"s fail to. I work for a taxi company that provides them. Have also seen reverse fail in a 2019.

The big screen it's borrowed from Focus, only the digital dash it's new. Also, the ground clearence was lowered, only 16cm for the new kuga which it's a shame, it's not an SUV anymore...

In my opinion previous version looks better (front). No full rear LED lights in 2024! Cmon...... Rear looks like in old version, even interior looks a bit dated compared to competitors. You can compete only with price guys.
I owned the Ford Focus MK1, then the Ford Fiesta ST MK1, then the Ford Focus MK3 and since a few months one of the last Ford Focus MK4 - Benzin ❤❤❤❤ I hate the electric Stuff!! Worst decision from Mankind 😂😂😂
Never got problems with all my fords...... the MK3 is still around, since 2011 with 180'000km. The first Focus in Silver, the others in that awesome Frozen White. The Fiesta ST in RS Blue L)

Sorry, had a 2014 and 2016 fiesta sticks. Both were fun to drive and both had problems at 60,000 miles. At least in the US, Ford took a great car and blew it with poor quality control and poor engineering. Got a Honda Fit. It has 87,000 miles, well maintained with no problems. Ask me if I would buy a US ford anything and the answer would be absolutely not.

Well, the CVT is for the hybrid version only, the PHEV and ICE should get an 8-spd gearbox like us Yanks do.
