Amazing SUV I'll be ordering it Ford! But can we fix the window switches... I know you're re-using VW parts but having only 2 window regulator switches is a big set back from a 20+ years of Ford ownership. :)
The new Ford Explorer Electric is particularly successful in terms of exterior design and interior layout. The MEB platform doesn't bother me, and the assistance systems don't interest me at all because they're just potentially dangerous sources of failure. They are only important to me in terms of the ease of permanently disabling them. The heat pump should have been standard equipment and the prices should have been lower. I'm especially curious to see how efficient the powertrain will be in real world use and what the real world range will be.
Massage seats are great. Even more the Head-Up Display! A few months ago the official statement was still, no HUD. Great that Ford rethinked this! What about another point for criticism compared to competitors, matrix front lights? Will there be matrix lights as well?
Would love for Ford Europe to focus on delivering ordered vehicles. Ordered a Tourneo Custom in 2022 and still March 2024 my order hasn’t been delivered. The outgoing model I ordered Feb 2022 and didn’t receive notification until Dec 2022 that all outstanding orders had been cancelled. Replaced my order for the redesigned Tourneo Custom in 2023 and still in March 2024… Nothing! €65k order and now I’ve demanded my Italy dealership give us a rental van as we are expecting our baby any day. Ford needs to figure this out, next time probably just by a Mercedes van instead

Too bad the heat pump is sold as an optional, while competitors like Tesla Model Y and BYD Seal/Sea Lion give it as a standard equipment.
Tesla Model Y and Cars from byd are much more expensive.
@@jonny8860 in Italy they both cost under 43k€. I don't think the Explorer will be cheaper.
V2H, V2G?
It’s alright talking about this car. They won’t to start building and selling it otherwise it will be out of date before they sell one and what about the electric puma which was due out this year and this car was to of been in Ford showrooms last October according to my dealer.
What about V2L, V2G support?

Blablabla... immer noch nicht bestellbar. Hatte das Fahrzeug seit Frühling 2023 im Blick und die Hirnhaltetaktik hat bei mir nicht funktioniert. Inzwischen ist ein Tesla Model Y bestellt und seit Monaten im Einsatz im Gegensatz zum Prototyp der in Köln in das Scheinwerferlicht gestellt wird. Wer ankündigt muss aus liefern.
Ford hat sich da wohl von Tesla inspirieren lassen, was die Vorbestellungen und Lieferzeiten betrifft 🤷🏻♂
As a current Explore owner. I find this not suitable for a replace and only see this in helping to skyrocket EV9 sells.

100% agreed. I have a Skoda Enyaq - so his MEB-tech brother - with the smallest possible 18". Driving as well Ford cars since 17 years. Never had that worse driving behavior and high tire wear than with the Enyaq... 🫣
How about, why isn’t Ford bringing it to the country of Henry Ford?! Why in the world aren’t we getting it here, in the U.S.? Ford could get a jump on the Chevy Equinox EV, which has been delayed. Now that Tesla’s opened up their charging network, what’s holding Ford back?!
I’ve already decided to not get an Ocean, I don’t want a Tesla, so I guess I’ll just wait 2 years for an R2 I reserved on Rivian’s launch day.
