I love the touch-screen's demand that you look and read for every act, rather than keeping the driver's eyes on the road. Wow - that's so safe, right?!!

There will be 4wd Transit/Tourneo Custom but when is not public.
Why is a vehicle like this so impossible to get in the US?? The Transit is way too big as a daily driver and the Connect is too small for more than one person.
Yes i think the mid sized Transit would sell well in the US but Ford probably can't sell it or they would.

exactly why im looking at the 118 Dodge 1500 Promaster. Looks to be a good fit between the connect and transit. still poor MPG though

Why why why can't this come to the US?
Very nice! The solar panels are "nice" too, but I prefer my foldable panels, which can be sometimes 220 Wp, sometimes 400 Wp. Or two-times this power.
Other question: Where is the place for my Powerstation (3,6 kWh) with two extra-batteries?

I don't agree with best layout of all buscampers! :) Best layout is very personal. It's not my choice but I think that it will stay to be the most sold Ford camper.

It's a lovely thing with some great features but I'm bemused by the apparent lack of storage space for bedding and equipment such as paddleboards, etc. A VW camper with a RIB bed manages to incorporate a sizeable boot.

Insane they don't think the US is a viable launch market. Demand for vans, especially campers, is wild here.
Our market here is so lame. SUVs of 1,000 varieties, no small trucks, no station wagons, and no Nugget or VW California. There is an underground market here for sure where we either have to build our own campers or buy one through a secondary company that builds them professionally. I for one would consider buying this Ford if it were available.
Yeah I would def buy this if it came to the states. It can be a daily driver and an adventure van all in one.
Exactly, the US has best national parks in the world and this type of van is what we need for an adventure instead of hauling around an oversized and expensive RV

Sadly that's pretty much the going rate for new campers of this spec. We bought our last one in 2002 and it was £4500 for a 3-yr old van and about £1000 for a (fairly basic) self-conversion. Now we kind of need to buy a new one as it's knackered (and the Euro II engine is slowly being banned from more and more places), but the prices are somewhat boggling.

Its not stolen as this new van chasis is a joint Ford VW venture so sharing all the trim is part of it i imagine

I wish Subaru built a similar van on an Assent platform. 9" ground clearance & their symmetrical awd, It would dominate the US market. Why they never co-developed a van on that platform has got to be one of the biggest blunders of modern automotive decision making. This van is nice but low ground clearance doesn't cut it for those looking for an adventure van. If Sub ever makes one I'll be first in line to order.

The kitchen is a downgrade. There were two cuoboards for your pots and pans and food in the old nuggets and they hold so much - the thin slot and the larger one underneath. Whilst I like the pull out fridge losing tow cupboards is not good!
and the fridge has lower volume inside

VW and Ford worked together so the VW version is coming. Maybe 1 year later than Ford version.

it's so unfortunate that the market in the states is so lame. SUVS of every variety but no wagons, no camper vans, even with American brands like Ford. I like the layout of this Ford over the VW California.
I think it's cool to spend 75,000 euros on this car and not have a toilet! Luckily there are bushes in nature!

Why do all these companies avoid bringing any of these cool vehicles to the us market American fn company and I’ve never heard of this. VW California also doesn’t come here Hyundai has one of these also none come here.
The cheapest version is €68,628. You can buy a two-bedroom flat for that money - or even a house in certain areas.

Who on earth is going to be able to afford this though? And those who can afford it probably work so many hours that they won't have the time to use it, lol.
I will also add that the cockpit of this new model is completely soulless. Dual screen, one bigger than the other and sticking out like a stump. The tendency to get rid of clocks and touch buttons does not convince me.

Giant mistake on this. The highest part of the roof should be in the middle of the van like VW's. I wouldn't buy this - it'll be a pain.
