The hilarious thing is that South Park was trying to rehabilitate KK image at the end of the episode (so it wasn't really a shot at her).
BUT instead of playing with it, she (like all sociopaths) took that legit criticism like an attack and she ended fucking all up by trying to take down the episode.

Going back and watching older South Park eps is like a trip back in time to see how we got to this moment culturally, I highly suggest doing that, you'll see things you might have missed before. The genius of South Park, and also some of the frustration mentioned here, is that they ALWAYS slam both sides so they can't be accused of anything - but also, possibly to show us what we have in common which can open things up for dialogue. If you only slam one side you come off sounding preachy, shut down the conversation and lose the opportunity for a bit of self reflection. Matt and Trey have always said that as long as everyone is fair game then everything is fair game. It's everyone or no one in terms of the comedy.

I own a business, and while I love every 5 star review we get, it's the lower scores I value most. If you want to evolve and improve, you need to identify your faults and improve upon them. Amazing Disney is so out of touch that they don't realize that.

I'm so glad shows like South Park still exist. An elephant in the room: celebs like Zegler, the Kardashians alongside with these 'insta-fame-vain' people should've never been celebrated in the first place. An over privileged douchebags already famous, being promoted even further by other over privileged companies like Vogue, GQ, Jimmy Fallons of the world etc. 'look what's in my purse a brand new iPhone' That level of vanity is obscene. The same people who, back in the day, considered anyone who was computer savvy or a gamer, or had a Myspace profile to be 'a loser'. Before they started to use these platforms to make money and share their vanity with the world and destroy self-esteem of others.
I have a voice acting background and remember fighting preconceived notions that it's not as demanding as regular acting; but the vocal training itself and perfecting the craft may take more time than any acting school. I know all too well how impossible it was to even book an audition - that's why I sound maybe too bitter and biased. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil games :)

I actually think that their presentation of Kathleen Kennedy was absolutely perfect, and here's why: They presented her in the most sympathetic light possible while retaining their honesty. She is incredibly thin skinned. If and when she responds badly to this (so when, iow), she will alienate so many people that when Trey and Matt said to revisit this subject, they'll be able to get away with absolutely wrecking her and her career

I found the B plot to be a good parody too. A couple of competing handymen in South Park become billionaires (parody of Bezos and musk) and disregards the tasks that the South Park residents had hired them for so they could purchase social media platforms and have a rocket competition instead.
As a tradesman, I was laughing so much at that plot. A lot in there was true too. White collar workers used to talk down to us a lot and wave simple 10 to 15 buck tips to try and get their work done faster while being belittling. These days, there's not much of us, so now they're begging and willing to pay bank for the work to be done now. It's like they said, people don't know how to do shit

I've watched Gary, Drinker and Chato review this episode and they all have a slightly different take. The one thing they all failed to notice though, was the Cartman replacement is different than the other replacements in so far as the under carriage is drawn. Look at the smiley mouth that doesn't exist on the others. I can't believe I have to be so vague and non-descriptive in my point, but the YT AI is all powerful and not unbiased or tolerant of free speech.

I diagree. We got three versions of Cartman in that episode and it was only the original flavour Cartman that wanted to solve the problem and went on a character progression journey. The other two female Cartman went back to their realms as obnoxious as they came.

One more missed opportunity/pulled punches was toward the end when KK and Cartman makes amends. KK didn’t do this because of hate mail. All of those Spielberg stories about KK in the late 70s already interrupting meetings trying to push her agenda then shows she was already there.
In the story of the special, she did want to change things before the hate mail, and the hate mail just made her go more crazy, it was never said to be the only reason... At no point did they say her reactions were warranted, any top CEO will get a lot of hate mail and they need to do the right thing anyways.

This episode was indeed long overdue and i have been hoping they would do this for years. Considering the number of franchises that have been destroyed in recent times, they could easily make an entire series of episodes like this. They have so much material.
My only criticism of this episode is that Bob Iger got off far too light.
