Kathleen Kennedy’s name being drug through the mud in front of general audiences was a godsend
She wants to be bullied, she is very aggressive.
‘Dragged through the mud’ - please!
"drug"
Hahaha
The funny thing is that many missed the point that both sides are equally dumb. The Kathleen Kennedy and Disney side that keeps trying to pander is stupid. The overly aggressive hate crowd towards it is also stupid.
Youre the one thats dumb. Calling out stupid shit that is losing Billions of dollars and destroying decade long Franchises like Star Wars is not dumb. Its literally what were supposed to do.
You would just sit there and watch everything being destroy like a lame duck, youre part of the problem. Youre just as bad as Kathleen Kennedy for enabling it.
For my part, I'm not willing to believe that Kathleen Kennedy's decisions were not of a malicious nature. This woman personally stated that she was not interested in hiring any men to work at Lucasfilm, and smugly posed for photos with her "The Force Is Female" T-shirt. If she were merely an out-of-touch businessperson trying to appeal to popular trends, you would think the backlash would have altered her creative strategy prior to, say, her attempt to gut the legacy of Indiana Jones.
Which is why I want a photo of Drinker and the lads in shirts saying THE FAIL IS FEMALE.
She’s doing it as revenge against Lucas, Spielberg, and every other guy in the industry that sent her to fetch coffee because she’s a talentless hack and that’s all she’s useful for. I imagine she may have even tried to sleep with some of them and they turned her down because she’s also not very attractive. She has a lot of bruised ego to make up for.
I disagree that its purely one or the other because I think she is malicious AND dumb.
That's what I find out about a lot of elites in that they are willing to do anything to get to the top but don't understand the most basic concepts.
She’s a diversity hire so she absolutely loves this system.
That first part isn't true technically, she's been in the business for a while, but she does in fact love the system.@@gregkosinski2303

You can't criticise your masters
@richardbirks correct! First time I have watched SP in over a decade
@Richarfbirks And for those who may not know, the Streisand Effect comes from Barbara Streisand used to (probably still does) eat a box of puppies and kittens for breakfast every morning. I think the point is being missed with Southpark being apparently “safe”. I think they do that on purpose, so that it’s more subtle. It’s really hard to say they are making a direct parody, because they create a fictional character, but in reality everybody knows exactly what they’re saying, because everybody’s thinking it. Moreover, Disney couldn’t claim that there’s any slander, because it’s obviously made up. They’d need to essentially admit to all their faults to accuse Southpark of slander. That’s why it’s clever.
You overestimate these jewish clowns.
At this point I can only assume the simulation is broken. The squirrel they found in the hadron collider clearly chewed a few wires and our reality collided with the most absurd alternate reality possible.
Disney complains about South park but they practically wrote the script for them. It's literally writing itself at this point and honestly i was waiting for this south park special for sooo long and it was worth the wait.

It's awful that South Park was needed to legitimize what we've known all these years
The alternative reality Cartman/Kennedy wasn't done to shift blame just in case, it was meant to be a fusion of Cartman and Kennedy, as Kennedy's poor choices and Cartman's vitriolic letters had created the cycle of hate that had reduced the Disney movies into the garbage that they have become. The Cartman/Kennedy was a gestalt of the worst of both sides.
But we know how it happened in reality, so there is no other point than shift blame
South Park was way off on that. The vitriolic letters never would have happened if KK hadn't done what she did in the first place, there is no 'oh but she means well', she was always a duplicitous snake in the grass, the idea of both sides being to blame is not how the reality bares out. No matter how over the top some people have been, fan action is not responsible for where we are now, It ALL began with KK and to even consider otherways is shifting the blame.
It was an excuse to be able to show the true KK with all her DEI activism and as a total control freak. Without doing it the way they did it could have given KK's team cause to think they had a case against Matt and Tray, not that it would have been successful but better not to have it at all.
True. In the episode, the "real" Kathleen Kennedy is actually a good person, all the negative things were done by a version of her from an alternate universe. In this way, South Park has an extra layer of protection. They portrayed the "real" KK very well, all their criticism was levied at the alternate universe Cartman version that they made up. If Kennedy tries to sue them for THAT she will look ridiculuous.
Also I think it is artistically better to not have a parody to be exactly identical to the real world. Just like a lot of shows that just transpose the real world into their films, this at least makes an alteration to have richer characters
They explained pandering in the "Faith Hilling" episode years ago. This special is Trey and Stone basically showing Disney that they understand pandering better than them, and that they know exactly what Disney is up to.
"Go back to the 90s, (GAY F WORD)"....best line ever.
@@Kwisatz-Chaderach You are easily impressed.

There were no talks of suing. Parody is protected speech and they know it. Stop watching Mike Zeroh.
I've said for a while someone could make a lot of money if they made a "Scary Movie" type spoof film of this whole woke movement. There is just so much material, so many opportunities for gags it would be incredible!
... Is there? Like, for real? See the issue with parody is... tou have to actually make it dumber than the source material to the point it becomes funny.
I don't think we can get much dumber than what we already got. Trying to parody modern Disney is like trying to be even dumber than an actual potato. Like not using potato as a slur. An actual root vegetable.

Simple is always the most effective strategy. Going harder would have convoluted the points of the episode. As Pandaverse stands it was balanced and impossible to disagree with -- for both sides. Pure masterclass.
That is one of the things I appreciate about Stone and Parker. They go after everyone and expose the absurdities of every side. They did this with this episode as well, not just going after the DIE and pandering nonsense but also going after those who just automatically assume the worst with entertainment (although, being one of them, it's hard to not think the worst! Lol).
I hope they always keep it up. It's good to be kept on one's toes at all times.
The new Indiana Jones movie brought this on. It's obvious to anyone who has been a longtime fan of South Park. So of course they're going to be more mad at the head of Lucas Films than they are the head of all of Disney.

Let's just bury our heads in the sand and pretend the same government that bragged about using social media against us hasn't reached out to the south park creators to make sure they say "acceptable things". These people have been a prominent fixture in our culture for too many years not to have caught jewish intelligence's notice. "trannies in sports" is a pressure valve issue. The existence of trannies at all is what you should focus on, but South Park helps direct your focus onto something irrelevant. Like they always do. They're a huge part of why you react instinctively to the term "conspiracy".
I honestly thought Az was referring to Overlord DVD at first. Pretty sure very few people take him seriously anymore either.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone are the real definition of:
"LET THEM COOK!"
It's not just the people under her. Kennedy has a boss. And that boss approves of her work. It's not like the CEO and Board were all sitting around going "Gee, one of OUR employees is doing stuff we don't like. If only there were a way for an EMPLOYER to get rid of an EMPLOYEE. Grr..."
True, she does have a boss and it's Bob Iger. His actions do show that he supports what she's doing. There was a point several years back where people thought he was going to get rid of her. Channels like Midnight's edge talked about it consistently and at several points over the years kept bringing back that she may get fired soon even though it never happened when they tried predicting it. It got bad enough were people in the comments started lambasting the channel for always talking about he she was going to get fired but it never becoming a reality.
The creators of South Park are masters at making their content impossible to sue (successfully). Cartman Kennedy is a perfect cover to allow them to claim (truthfully) that they were only satirising her/Disney as opposed to the episode being blatant slander. It's a necessary evil to get their point across without making them liable.
If what you said was true then she would be able to sue all these CZcamsrs, which sounds like crap. What is the slander? That she makes movies that panders to audiences and she's incompetent? We might as well be able to sue anyone for just opening their mouth for anything.

I'll bet KK tries to go after them for this, her ego is far too out of control not to and I will laugh my ass of when she fails.
I don’t think South Park went soft at all, this was very strategic. They are playing a long game… go easier at first, then get Disney to predictably overreact with everyone now watching. With the normies all on their side you are winning the PR war… THEN unleash the hounds (plus we get at least a season of content out of it).
You're right about Mike Zeroh. He'll block you immediately if you call him out as well. I learned way back in 2017 when I innocently asked him on Twitter regarding his source for a Last Jedi article before I was wise on his clickbait fiction.
I’ve literally never heard of the guy until his videos about South Park have been showing up in my feed, I thought they were a little interesting but I had no idea about his reputation. This makes a lot of sense to me because he’ll keep coming out with videos that sound like breaking news in the Disney vs South Park situation but there’s usually just speculation or no new information at all in the videos. Anyways it was just surreal to hear a channel I just now started watching somewhat get called out by a channel I respect lol.
His videos are interesting if you accept it as opinion. However, if you're looking for breaking news it's better to look elsewhere. Most of his "scoops" are obviously conjectural and made up on the fly as you never can find an article or even a reddit chat to back it up.
Keep something in mind even if they went soft the damage that’s been done is catastrophic and this is going to be a three part series, so who’s to say they’re saving the good stuff for the next two episodes?
I'll give Matt & Trey some credit. It may not so much be that this episode has come out now because it's safe. It could just be they've caught onto it now.
Or they waited for Disneys reputation of "putting chicks in it and making it gay" became solid enough they couldn't escape it. I mean, it wouldn't age well to call Disney out on it after the first few times they did it and there was still potential to put things back on track. At that time only youtube critics caught onto it and were worried if the trend was going to continue. Now, Disney can't deny it at this point because they've tanked all their properties and have a whole library of modern films with chicks and gay in them as evidence of it.
So I think the safety of this South Park episode wasn't in Disneys retaliation but in the assurance of its claims.
A fair point. If you are going to go after someone for something, you better make sure that particular "something" is accurate and not just derived from third-hand sources.
It’s crazy how the parody is still not fully accurate with all the problems
Matt and Trey can be kind of pussies when it comes to this stuff. They try to play both sides and remain centrist. In a way it's genius to do so, but they can be too soft. They'll throw bones to both sides. That "railing on woke shit all the time is kinda lame too" line Cartman said was to pander to SJW's to make them think the episode was on "their" side.
I feel like M&T hate this stuff as much as us, but if they go too hard they'll cause "too much" controversy and it will affect their ratings. Which is hilarious considering what they've already put out in the past.
I agree about Age of Ultron, a great example, which I went out and bought the other day, after initially thinking I would never own it. The new stuff makes me appreciate entries like that a lot more now.
After watching some of Mike Zeroh's videos, I asked myself, "Where is he getting this information?"
Right? I kept seeing his thumb nails and wondering where that stuff came from...I don't understand how he's allowed to post such fantasies as reportage.
It was great to hear Mike Zerohs (sp?) channel get called out for the garbage it is. He's using the panderstone the same way as Kathleen Kennedy.
I love Az and how effective and well put together his points are. I half expected to see him appear in the South Park episode, giving how much of an impact he has had lately (including people making memes of him)
Panderverse lives!
Mike zero makes so many videos! It took me several to realize that he doesn't say anything new in any of them. He's very good! He can make an entire 20 minute video and not give you any new information and yet he talked the entire time.
I occasionally watch his videos. I found them interesting in limited doses and I never thought too much about them. But considering a lot of these channels mention each other (for example, Clownfish doesn't run with this crowd, but they do reference them), it had occurred to me that no one ever mentions Mike Zeroh. Listening to these guys bag on him, I'm kind of seeing the pieces fit together.
He talks really slow. He repeats himself every few sentences. The word salad is hilarious
And what’s with that campfire at the end of his videos???? Strange.
I dislike him for that very reason. I tried to get into his videos but.. they are very dull.
😂it’s amazing, he gets me every time 🤦🏾♂️🤣
"Panderverse" is such a good name. Thank you Trey and Matt.
Fair play to Az calling out Mr Zeroh 😂 no offence to the guy, but he puts out pure clickbait and made up nonsense 😂
Literally though! I've been seeing nothing but South Park stuff all week from Zeroh pop up on my feed all because I watched one fucking episode having no idea who he was and so wanted to hear what he had to say. Ugh.
@unexplained_entity7514 yeah he's algorithm farming for clicks, and he never gets to the point just waffles on with nonsense but never seems to have any facts to back it up 😂 he's a clown 🤡
I got news for you guys. Unless the Board gets rid of Iger and Feige, KATHLLEEN KENNEDY with Esptein's past help, has a lot of dirt on Disney, Feige and Iger. SHE IS NEVER GOING away. Although just a rumor, it is believed that if Iger goes away and if Feige is fired, KATHLLEEN Kennedy has an agreement in writing that SHE WILL replace Feige and also is allowed to make an attempt to get on the Disney Board!!
Mike Zeroh releases the same video 6 times a day and says nothing.
It didn't take long to figure out his pattern of nothingness.
He's like a gambling watch time vampire - he's gambling how long he's got of just spewing nonsense before people click off. He only gets 1 or 2 minutes out of a 8 minute video but he pumps out So many it makes 1 mediocre video. Fascinating from a grifting perspective in a perverse way.
'My source is that made it the fuck up!!'-Mike Zero
Good to see Endymion TV up there with The Critical Drinker. I’ve seen both channels growth and it’s great. Stay ahead of the curve guys 😎
he's ok here but he gradually got a bit too extreme for my part
I think your right Zeros channel brings down everybody around. It is important that you call people like him out by name and denounce him. It is important to keep people well informed.
Well said. The algorithm got me with Mike Z a couple weeks back. After a few videos, I was like this guy just repeats the prior video using different language and MIGHT add a new sentence occasionally.
Lol. Yea… Mike Z be click baiting with no references. But his channel is okay though. He seems like a good fan at hart. We all gotta make some money. They was low-key hating a bit. 😅
Endymion is a hypocrite and should be considered the same level as Mike. Like when he made a video about that non-existent Japanese McDonald's ad "controversy" right-wingers were all hallucinating about.
@@freefoodsss "We all gotta make some money."
You literally just tried to justify him grifting, lol.
@@MagcargoMan hmm, what’s your definition of grifting? 🤔
Hey Drinker, have you ever watched "The Scorpion King" with Dwayne Johnson? I watched it on tv earlier today and it was gloriously dumb, but a lot of fun! A well-intentioned movie made with a lot love. Kinda like its sequels (The Mummy 1 and 2 with Brendan Fraser) I miss those kinds of movies😢😢😢.
The cgi is breathtaking
Brendan Fraser is a national treasure.
Scorpion king was a prequel guy
Dude you got that lineup way wrong! The Mummy films came first THEN the Scorpion King movie came along much later.
@@schaddenkorp6977in terms of movie production yes, but in terms of actual timeline the Scorpion King came before the Mummy timeline. The origin story if you will.
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” does a pretty good job of making fun of each side in politics as well.
One of my favorite long running shows, especially with real people not cartoons.
Love Always Sunny! I’m amazed at the stuff that Sunny gets away with. Part of their success (and the reason they can be so transgressive) has to do with the fact that The Gang are supposed to be horrible people.
Their specials since the pandemic have been really good.
I was surprised how easy they went on KK and Iger. Made no sense to me.
I laughed harder than I probably should've at the alternate-universe Butters singing "Loo loo loo, I got some apples..."
I knew it. Mike Zero always had stories that no one else had. I thought it was strange. Thank you for confirming that.
Mike Zeroh goes around in circles, repeats the same things and actually says nothing 😅
Another thing that jumped out at me, Zeroh's grasp of the English language is VERY tenuous. Zeroh just throws words out there. He can't even do basic idioms.
I actually started getting addicted to them for the comic relief! He constantly and consistently murders the English language with often hilarious results. It’s fun doing a post mortem on specific sentences to try to figure out wtf just happened.
@@1Hominid I can see that.
In his last video Zeroh just quoted a whole statement that Bob Iger made “trashing” The Daily Wire. But I can’t find that “statement” anywhere and he doesn’t cite where he got it from. Can’t someone sue him?
I've certainly seen my fair share of zeroh's content. Thanks for the eye opener with him. I felt something was up when a bunch of his "stories" didn't seem to materialize.
The age of Modern Hollywood is over and the Age of the Drinker and Mauler has come.
*slams laptop down*
“Whatd ya bring me?!”
Eh, that makes it sound like Drinker and co are the bad guys.

@@RJALEXANDER777 They aren’t bad guys tho
@@RJALEXANDER777 not possible anyone takes it that way considering Woke is a cult of evil.
Southpark.
A paramount show
Paramount also destroyed star trek with woke nonsense and bad writing
I love the Nerdritic video on the South Park episode clips were hilarious and my favorite part was the Ordering the Linguine..I rewatched it & laughed so hard. You All keep up the great work
I like how they took shot at the reviewers with cartman being their embodiment
Still and will always be my favorite show ... I'm from Brazil and basically most of my English came by watching those guys show and no I don't like fish sticks ...
That is objectively awesome. 😁
@@grahamstrouse1165 Nice cat on your profile pic haha I have five they are my family
that merch has better character development than the marvels could ever hope to have
Everyone's talking about them not going as hard as usual, but at the same time I think it made their point better by showing you can use subtlety in an effective way.
Most of us, will remember a Canadian Company called 'Research in Motion'. They became arrogant, and were TELLING customers, what they should want. Along came 'Apple', and actually GAVE customers, what they said that they wanted. 'Research in Motion' is now out of business. Disney needs to do their homework on this.....history repeats itself.
It’s never going to be fixed. Ever. Sorry. We had a few good years , but it’s gone.
I'd agree they went too soft. Even if it were true that KK is reacting to the backlash by destroying more and more, that's not an acceptable thing to do. It's a childs tantrum, and arguably worse than if she were just doing it out of some pretensious moral imperative. You don't get to break all the other kids' toys just because they didn't like the way you drew all over their art you stole previously, I mean thats some ridiculous shit she should've learned in pre-school. So yeah, I think they went way too soft, and I did not like the way they presented that alternative as a more understanding and acceptable way to view KK, because it's not. It's worse
It's a shame that it took something more mainstream like South Park to say what we've all been thinking for years for anyone to actually start to pay attention. I'm glad they did though.
I'm seeing the term Panderverse almost as much as the phrase THE MESSAGE at the minute 😂
They've been roasting PC culture every season since 2015. Most people were completely aware of how things changed without South Park lampooning it.
@@BB-mt5no I'm sure they've noticed that the quality of their entertainment has fallen off but I doubt very much they know the names of specific individuals who are responsible for it. WE know because we're interested in (and to a certain extent invested in) this particular section of the culture war because it's things that we love that are being torn down. Your average person on the street hasn't got a clue who Kathleen Kennedy is nor that she is essentially a destroyer of franchises and an identity politics ideologue. They just look at scenes like the infamous 'A-Force' pose in Endgame and think it's naff without considering why it is so.
South Park was a cop out. They didn’t want to comment on the politics involved. Didn’t want to take a side. It was a corporate product
