- Most comparisons focus on the sound of the cymbals on their own. In this video I will show 9 different hihat pairs on their own AND in the context of a recording, as this is hopefully the way they will be played most often. This is my personal selection of hats but I still hope that you will get some useful information out of this. Let me know what your favorites are!

My choice would be the 14" K Customs.
Imagine this: 13" Low Volumes with cross stick, then move on to the 14" K Customs or 15" K Lights for the sloshy part. 🤙

The zildijan cymbals i bought brand new ,cracked, I switched to 2002 paiste & never had a problem
Interesting point. I have very little experience with Paiste but probably worth checking out.
the regular K series construction (lathing) seems very close to the A series. Wondering how it compares with the recent regular K series models which have finer lathing
