Fishing time has finally arrived! Loved your response to Kasper 😂😂😂. Beautifully glassy looking lake and the sound of the birds at even tide….Glorious Simon. Thank you❤️🇦🇺🇸🇪

As you would expect Anne, since that day it has been cold and wet. The fish are not feeding and the boat is full of water.

Howdy Simon- ain’t it nice to still be able to do things like that at our age and not need any help. That’s a really nice setup on your dock. Now for getting the hooks wet. Take care and God bless

That dog was no help at all. Maybe a harness and a pulley system would make him useful. "If you don't pull, no ride in the boat."

He is really good at dogs things and saving my life, but no use at manual work or watery stuff!

Good luck fishing. I remember last year you caught some dandy perch. I don't get out fishing any more since my son got married (better stuff to do)🤣🤣 & I've become old & kind of decrepted. Have a great summer.

WHOOPPEEEE!! Fishing time... the best time of the year!!
And... there I was - waiting for you to lose your grip and float off on a pontoon... into the netherworld!? Me bad, I know!
Your back Simon... your BACK!! Use that new fancy crane lift of yours... somehow, please! We need to see you out on the lake... not on a hospital bed!!
Happy days - however... won't it be a bit strange this year... a missing boat? Long live the memory of Thomas's - and other friends who are no longer with us!! God bless you all up there - I wish for an abundant harvest of fish and fun!!
    Finally... don't drop your phone!!!

Hi Simon, nice video. What kind of fish do you get in this lake? Trout? Your pontoon dock seems like a very nice place to fly-fish for trout a warm summer evening he he. I hope you will have a nice and warm summer, without too many mosqitoes. In the southern part of Norway we had a very warm May, but June is very cold so far, with almost 0 degrees one night. And rain of course, alot of rain. I haven't got time for bad weather, I need to insulate and replace wall paneling on one of my house facades. this summer. (If my back is kind to me). Take care Simon, and enjoy your arctic summer with sun and daylight 24/7. Hilsen Asle

It is a river and main fish are Perch and Pike, small fish as well but no trout we have hydro dams all the way. Some trout is possible further north, I need my big boat working. We are also now cold and very wet. Rain forecast for the next 8 days! I am also working on the North facade of the main building. I wish you luck working on yours and pray for your back to hold out. Take care Hilsen.

@@arctic-rebel thank you for your reply Simon, I see you mention Pike, and when I was a kid 10 - 12 years old i think, I was out on the river here in Drammen together with my father trying to fisht Salmon. We got no Salmon that day, but we got a very big Pike weighing about 14 kilos....it was huge. Too bad I can't upload a picture of that fish here, but CZcams doesn't allow to post pictures
