- We could hardly believe it when we got a message from Jos Baart telling us that Europe's biggest owl, the Eurasian eagle-owl, had made a nest in a planter in front of his window. Not only that, she had also hatched three giant chicks! Now, when he watches television, three huge chicks watch television with him.
Update: Our video reached millions of people, all over the world. We received comments from Japan to the United States. As the city is not the right environment for these young owls the chicks were relocated to a nearby shelter. Now, it is time to release them into the wild. Six months worth of work by @NHCopglabbeek just flies off. That's enormously satisfying! • Famous eagle owls rele...

I’ll never forget the first owl I ever saw - my grandmother woke me when I was a little boy, didn’t tell me what to expect and together we snuck up to our kitchen window, it was really foggy but sitting on top of our clothesline was a type of owl we call a ruru or morepork, staring back at us. yeah, Eagle Owls are some of the more menacing species. Don't mess with me, is what their motto is. That's why I prefer the "nicer" or rather more docile ones, like Northern Spotted Owl, Tawny Owl, Barn Owl, and the Barred Owl. They tend to groom their children more and show more affection to them, but not so much Great Horned Owls or Eagle Owls. They are a bit colder towards their offspring and want them them to be more independent at an earlier age. They are still majestic birds in their own right.
Screech Owls are like miniature versions of the Great Horned Owl, but they too can be handled more easily.
It's sweet how he's already worried that they're going to leave him when they grow up and he hopes they will come back next year. It's like parents being sad about their children leaving the "nest" :)

-That, Billy, is a human. They usually live like this, in locked places, and when they go out, they do things they don’t like, or overdo them, or both, which causes stress and illness, just like the half of the trash they eat - the other half they dispose of, even though they call it wasting food.
They also feed on those little screens they carry, it’s like a drug, they even use them when they are taking a shit. Most males also use them to watch simulated reproduction in the absence of a mate.
Humans need to be constantly buying things unnecessarily, otherwise their social economy would collapse. They also feel good about making and spending their currency. And they also kill each other to establish hierarchic attempts.
